At least they corrected Ponda... they had him listed as Ackbar for a couple days.

Do zombies poop?

There's a title for a kids book.

That looks like some team won a championship and that's how the fans celebrated!

Maybe with who's on the back cover, perhaps that's why the story was delayed... they wanted to include Maul and Luceno, had to rework it?

I'll care if they do it better and make the 'formers so you can actually tell who the heck is who. And I'd love it if these guys looked like they do in G1 or 2, instead of the odd looks.

Edit: and maybe the third part of the question could be why they are still only putting one of each new figure in a wave per case, why not have them in there at 2-per-case so that new figures have a better chance of being found.

^^^ this - it is working quite well in the MU line

They can't put more than one of each new figure in a case...they need the room for Vader, Boba Fett, Sandtrooper and any variety of Clone Troopers to clog the pegs.

I agree a bit on this. I mean if you put 2x of obsure characters like Yarna and Jerjerrod) as well, then we stuck looking at their pretty faces on each visit to the store. As far as clones... don't forget the green helmets!

They just want us to waste a question for the Q&A to clarify statements.

At the Hasbro panel, they talked about the Join The Jedi contest. First thing I thought of: Star Wars Kid. Dude should win that retroactively.

I got to catch up with Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano) at NY Comic Con today.  And she asked me what I thought of the season so far.  She said that the next story arc of 4 episodes is going to get more serious, but couldn't eleborate much beyond that.

Ahsoka dies??? (no, probably not, but wouldn't that be sad)

You guys are glossing over the big news...

The Squeeknie Battle guys.  We got a good 10 minutes of this stuff and a preview of the commercial and were told how exciting this new segment was for us.  They did assure us that this would not supplant the 3.75in line.

Hey, it's 130 figures in a year! I don't recall if those included the hidden/chase figures. It's funny that the panel said they didn't want to get into chase figures, but then say some pods will be 'dark' so you don't know who's in said pod and that the figure would be random.

I believe R2 is a new sculpt and has tweets out 32 lines... if that makes it new enough for people.

Yeah, I see Movie Heroes as a kid-target figure line and Vintage is more for the hard-core collector. Why not go for that route with action figures when you are releasing the movies in theaters again. The kids who love the movies are in the 70s and 80s are now parents that want to share the enjoyment with their own kids. So it gives something for the younger generation to buy.

The only bad thing about the light-up features is that once the batteries are dead, you can't replace them.  :-\ They did say it's a long-lasting battery, though.

I am catching up on this season and finished 3 and 4 last night.

I was surprised in Episode 3 how the Separatists aren't being subtile that the Quarrens are being used. I would assume they would be helpful until the war is won and then crush the Quarrens' freedom.

Episode 4 just seemed rushed... just to get to the hostage scene (because Grievous has a bigger picture, etc). And once they do the exchange, it looks like the Gungans repaired Grievous back to his former self, where Anakin was lifeless.

The thing Hasbro made a point of was that 2012 was the year of Maul . TPM is coming out and he's returning in Clone Wars (I'm sure he'll be shown at Toy Fair for Clone Wars, so make that a seventh Maul). I think most of this is aimed at the kids collectors.

Good I just want to see what the Naboo fighter will look like.  I am hoping it's not a straight repack of the 99 version.  I mainly want one since my son trashed it when he was younger.

The Naboo Fighter is all new and rumor has it that it has a function droid socket which will be odd considering the design of the actual ship necessitates a special consideration for the head and legs. I wonder if the astros will enter through the bottom as well?

I saw it from afar, but it appears that there is a section that flips open forward so that you can access the socket and the cockpit. Once close, I believe it's supposed to hold the droid... And the cockpit will slide open as well.

A highlight for me was turning around and almost brushing up against Eliza Dushku.  >:D
