Kitty Pryde is especially impressive, since I find most of the females in this line so far have been fairly unremarkable face wise.  She has a bit more personality going on.

while I don't know too much about the character, she looks pretty droopy eyed to me - like she is tired.  Is that her personality?

I am pretty sure I am down for one of each on this wave easily.  The only one I am kinda "meh" on is Colossus because I have the Wolverine one and I am pretty satisfied with it.  However, I can see me adding him to my cart if HTS were to put them all up at the same time - same as I did with Iron Man from the last MU wave.

Just saw EE already has pre-order for wave 5 of the comic packs coming in July.  Case assortment =

2x Hulk & Cyclops
2x Cyclops & Phoenix
4x Wolverine & Spider-Man (Dark Reign)

kinda yikes here.  I guess if they were gonna choose any of the first 9 Secret Wars packs to repack - they probably chose the right one.

on the flip side, coming in May, wave 4 rev 1 of the comic packs is a great assortment if you were late in the game on wanting to collect this series:

1x Captain America & Claw
1x Human Torch & Wolverine
1x Red & Blue Spider-Man & Thunderball
1x Iron Man & Spider-Woman
1x Reed & Ultron
1x Absorbing Man & Dr. Doom
1x Thing & Bulldozer
1x Storm & Nightcrawler

Do it - grab the coupons and go to TRU this week, you will get a heck of a deal!  The only disappoinment you may experience is that there is only a minor difference between Mark IV and Mark VI.  The arc light of the Mkrk IV is a circle, the arc light of Mark VI is an upside down triangle - otherwise, unless I am mistaken, they are the exact same.

Don't miss out on Hypervelocity armor as well.  While I haven't really opened any of mine yet, I think that one might be up there with one of my favorites.

I read it semi recently, and while I don't recall 100%, I don't think there is anything super objectionable.  If I remember/have time I will look again when I get home.

Honestly though, I think the issue might be the shaved head.

yeah - coupled with the current TRU sale for Iron Man 2 figs (off SW topic sorry) of 2 for $10.99 - if you buy 4 figs at that price and use the coupon you are getting figures for $4.25 each!

I too will go with X-Men due to my brainwashed childhood - I loved the show.  So X-Men, and my team would have to be all the people from the animated series.   ;D

edit:  +Morph - I always liked Morph and the story line behind him on the series - I felt bad for the guy!

@Jabba the Slug

While I have neve done this you can pull a "jedi mind trick" on the Target stores in your areas inventory systems.  Buy up all the comic packs at the stores you visit the most and return them all at the one you visit the least.  Sure you will screw over one store in the process but that is the only way you are going to get new packs flowing to your stores - especially if you still have the blue/white packs...

/agreed

the more and more I look at that picture the more and more it is a definite buy.  I can see him being my Iron Monger Mark 2 - a sleeker, more powerful and efficient design than what I am currently using now (Iron Monger open canopy version from IM1.)

this figure is knockers  <--- lol at language filter - I like it!   ;D

Joe Defender / G.I. Joe Toys Thread

Well, along with the CS SE there was also Arctic SS, Jungle Ripcord, CS Duke, that Desert Viper, and possibly another - other than that though I believe it is it until POC.

Funny that you mention that now about your Target never getting any of those figures - mine didn't either and it is a very big, busy Super Target.  The reason why I find this funny is that Target was supposed to be our "G.I. Joe Headquarters" as it was advertised when the movie was released.  They didn't even ever deal out most of the last few waves in any substantial amount....

In regards to jd.com starting a new GI Joe thing - I am all for it.  I am not real big fan of 'Stank and some of the members over there.
