I've been seeing more images of Galen Erso popping up online.  But has anyone gotten their preorders for Galen or General Merrick fulfilled yet?

Reports popped up on social media that the Target exclusive Antoc Merrick has been found in Walgreens.  You have to wonder just what the hell is going on with these figures.  They went up for preorder 11 months ago.  They turn up internationally and in Walgreens in the US.  WTF???

Something weird must be going on because I saw the Target exclusive TVC Droids card 3PO at Walmart yesterday. And there were at least 10 on the pegs, so it wasn't like someone made a return with a swapped barcode.

I wound up canceling my preorder on the Merrick/Erso due to a variety of personal reasons, but Target was putting holds on my card for these for a few weeks too, which I thought was odd if these aren't ready to ship.

Both Target and Walmart put those periodic holds on cards for preorders.  I'm not sure what the interval is for when those holds are placed, but I agree that it's annoying.  In the case of Target, if you have a Red Card and use that for a Target preorder you don't really have to worry about that.  But I feel for the people who are using a debit card for preorders, because the holds can be problematic.

Whatever the case is with these exclusives, Hasbro owes collectors some answers.  We get the whole "state of the world" part of their answers, but at some point it simply comes across as a lazy cop out.  The Black Series Antoc Merrick and Galen Erso are pretty plentiful in Canadian TRU stores.  And thanks to social media US collectors are well aware of this.  These Target preorders went up 11 months ago.  Something's gotta give here.

According to Hasbro we should have gotten these in the Fall of 2021.

OMG, I got a shipping notification from Target for Galen Erso and General Merrick!  I’m not happy about the fact that my trip to Montreal (and it’s TRU locations that had these two in stock) fell through last week, but it’s good to know that these are finally on the way.

Received my Anton Merrick and Galen Erso figures from Target in the mail yesterday. Relieved to scratch those off my list, what, 13 months later? Teeka is on the way too.

Mine arrived yesterday as well.  It only took then 415 days to fulfill the Merrick / Erso preorders.  But who's counting?

Weird to see that Teeka is going to ship soon as well.  Curious about the Tibodon station Obi-Wan which is another Target exclusive as well.

I opened mine and his hands are just fine. Sounds like you got a defected one. They are starting to appear in store so you should be able to correct the issue if you so choose.
