No details... It just made for good classroom discussion.
We had "Smart classrooms" with overhead interactive technology...
Basically, we could go online via a large projection on the lecture room's eraser boards, and could interact with websites by touching the projection. Pretty neat little thing, so we actually logged into (rebelscum at the time) forums and browsed about various topics. My prof asked if anyone knew of any good topics online we'd like to discuss and nobody answered of course, so I volunteered rebelscum's forums and the myriad of arguments and fights it had.
A few of my assignments then were based on various topics from the forums then... Of my own choosing.
The political debate(s), I can attest, got a lot of reaction from the crowd, and the most laughter.
The class was mostly women, for those curious about that, age 19 to 21. There were maybe 10 guys total, about the same age, then a woman in her late 30's and myself were the oldest in the class... Surprisingly, nobody was made fun of for being a Star Wars "geek"... Shocked me I know.
The topics discussed were NOT relegated to Wuher's though, and came from all over the forums. Wuher's of course got the majority of the interest though.
