Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Who hates flying?
« on: January 29, 2004, 01:01 PM »
I have a major fear of flying.  It's ironic because my father and his friends work on airplanes.  They are always offering to take me up.  But, I just can't seem to work up the nerve.

I go once a year for a physical.  I try to avoid the doctor's office if possible.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Rate your job satisfaction...
« on: January 14, 2004, 12:29 AM »
My job satisfaction is at an all time low.  I have been working at the same company for about 13 years.  I became a manager about seven years ago.  Personally, I think, I have just seen too much.  I use to love my job.  But, now, I am doing everything I can to find something new.  The company has gone from being very profitable to bankruptcy.

One of these days, the story of this business is going to make a wonderful book.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: new years reolutions?
« on: January 1, 2004, 11:08 PM »
My resolutions are:
1.  To eat healthier (I don't use the word diet, it sends a panic attack message to my body to eat everything in sight.)

2.  I want to pay off my credit cards and not use them ever again.  I even made a budget to have them paid off with in the year.

3.  To try and relax and enjoy myself more, I take everything way too seriously.

I will probably break them as quick as I made them, but at least I put out a few goals for myself.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Christmas Bonuses
« on: December 24, 2003, 11:53 PM »
We got gift certificates this year for $50.00 that has to be spent at the store I work at.  But, with all honesty, I was extremely suprised to get one.  We lost all our employee benefits a few months ago including health insurance, vacation pay, etc.  So, the boss probably figured he should do something to keep the rest of us working there for a bit longer.  I was happy with the extra bonus.
