Debate:
Who's the bigger idiot...Terrell Owens or Jamal Lewis
Just read Manning signed the biggest contract ever, 7 years $134,000,000
Eagles just signed Kearse...m'eh, he's great for about 6-9 games and then he gets hurt or worn down...I heard today in the last 7 games (inlcuding playoffs) he had 10 tackles and 0 sacks...I'd rather have Wistrom
Management is officially saying these trade rumors are complete BS, they aren't shopping Moss to anyone...
Heard a couple of rumors that were intriguing...
TO to Philly or Balt (Philly would be scary if they get TO although their D is getting hit bad losing Vincent and Taylor)
Yeah he signed on Friday, the Jets had him all but locked up on Thursday night, he came to MN anyway and signed by Friday afternoon
As a lifelong Cowboy fan, Mikey D, I'm thinking of a finger...
You can both give eachother the finger and call it even... ;)

Fair enough.

And here's something I like to see at least once this year:

And that goes to the following teams: Yankees, Mets, Devils, Rangers, Islanders, Giants, Yankees, Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Cowboys, Redskins, Rams, Raiders, and the Yankees.
Dillon to the Patriots for a second round pick...that's a steal
Plus it sounds like the underclassmen might be inillegible after all
The Patriots will find out what Cincy has known all along: Dillon is a locker room cancer. I was afraid the Cowboys might sign him. Apparently Parcells doesn't think much of the 30 year old malcontent. He may work out for the Pats. But realistically, look for about 600 yds after some injuries and complaints about # of carries.Wha??? He's been a stud every year except this last one due to injuries and the emergence of Rudi Johnson. I'm sticking with the fact that the Patriots got a steal and now have a legitimate RB to pair with what may be the best QB post Beth Farve
I'd love to see the day that a kicker was sooo good that he got some 1st day draft excitement.....

You must have been sleeping that day a few years ago

1st Round, 17th Pick by Oakland Raiders ::)
Position: Running Back
School: Michigan
Status: Senior
Height: 6-1
Weight: 228
40-Yard Dash: 4.55
Positives: Chris Perry is a shifty runner, but he can also run with power. He has good size, quickness, and speed, and he picks up yardage after contact. He has good vision and instincts for finding the hole. He possesses good cut-back ability, catches the ball well in the flat, and is a solid blocker. He's tough in short-yardage situations.
Negatives: Perry is one of the most complete backs in the draft, but he does not have breakaway speed. There are also concerns that because he has played behind very good lines his entire college career, he might not be quite as good as he has looked at Michigan.
Projection: He is probably not a franchise back, but he is a solid football player. He will most likely be a second-round selection, but he could slip into the end of the first.
If Perry is not available, look for the Cowboys to draft an OL, possibly Shawn Andrews, OT, Arkansas, unless Kenechi Udeze, DE, U.S.C. drops (he has been dropping lately).
Udeze was dropping in part to FALSE rumors about him having a problem with his shoulder. I was under the impression that he is still projected a top ten pick.
...hire her back ABC!!!!!!!!!! We need more Melissa

Something the Viking fans and Cowboy fans can BOTH get behind....
According to the police report, the suspects continued to "kick, punch and stomp on the victim's body and head" after he was knocked unconscious
Henderson, who recently underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, is the likely candidate to take over at middle linebacker for Greg Biekert, who retired at the end of last season. Farmer also is recovering from knee surgery. Nattiel is a second-year player who has been practicing with the first team but appears to be a long shot at securing a starting position.
"You've got to keep an eye on those two, because they're going to try to get the upper hand," Parcells said about quarterbacks coach Sean Payton and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. "Mike wants the defense to do well, and Sean, he's going to have a few ... no disrespect for the Orientals, but what we call Jap plays. OK. Surprise things."
Bummer seeing my Rams finally part ways with Warner. Those were a few of the greatest offensive years in NFL history watching him pass and Marshall run. What a tandem. Still sucks that they only won 1 Super Bowl through their great run (shut up Mikey! >:()
I know what you're saying. But I think owners wouldn't necessarily be into him from a marketing standpoint. I definitely think they would catch a lot of flack from their football people. Especially since in this era of NFL parity, almost any team can really compete for the Vince Lombardi trophy.
I definitely think the guy has serious athletic ability. He was an NCAA wrestling national champ, right? But his absence from any kind of organized football since high school is a huge strike against him. I think a route like the Arena league, the CFL or NFL Europe would be the most likely scenario for him before he plays a single down in the NFL. Could he get signed and get invited to an NFL training camp? Possibly, but I would be really surprised to see him make any team's roster.
Only two more weeks until training camp.
Ricky Williams retires from football (and takes the Dolphins Super Bowl hopes with him.)
(snip)...He'll need to eventually make some more coin to buy some more reefer, after all...
Well I already have my Super Bowl winner (three guesses who) but division winners I'm still thinking about. Probably won't do it until right before the season starts, for reasons you already stated, among others.
I just laugh at the Stupidity of Jerry Jones in drafting Q Carter in the first place...in the second round no less. He was easily the worst draft pick of that draft and one that everyone in the world said the Cowboys reached about 3 rounds too high on...
Cowboys aren't making the Playoffs anyway so it matters little, I'll say their D may get them close but with Vinny or Hutchinson or a Baseball Player, no way in hell are they gonna make it
I just laugh at the Stupidity of Jerry Jones in drafting Q Carter in the first place...in the second round no less.
My prediction: Rams vs. Raiders in the Superbowl. Yeah. You heard it here first!
Other prediction: Mikey's Pats go winless. The ViQueens too. Yeah. 8)
Not a snowball's chance in hell that Seattle takes it this year. Or the year after that. Or any other year thereafter. Why? 'Cause they're the Seahawks. That's why.
I'm waiting on my picks...too many things can happen in the next 3 weeks
so, how about some predictions for the coming year?

NY Giants name Warner as the Starting QB.....
http://msn.foxsports.com/story/2835314
Eli Manning is holding his breath in hopes it will change coach Coughlin's mind....
Coughlin when asked if the Tantrum would work before opening day had this to say:
"If he threw a pass like he throws a hissy fit, he'd have the starting job in a heartbeat."
Archie Manning has scheduled a conference with the Mayor of NYC, the GOP National Convention, The protesters outside, the International Olympic Committee and the NHLPA to see if they can do something about how poorly his son has been treated by the organization.... :'(
Sounds like Brock lesnar is going to get cut, probably won't make the practice sqaud either. He did get a tackle on Friday night though on the last play of the game. People went nuts. If I were owner of the Vikes I would make sure there was a spot on the Practice Sqaud for Mister Lesnar, his Jersey sales would pay for the spot itself
so, how about some predictions for the coming year?
Rams...
Got killed in the playoffs, lost Turley for the year, lost Grant Wistrom and have Aneas Williams, Isaac Bruce and Marshall Faulk all with another year of tread on the tires...plus they have the biggest moron of a coach in NFL history, plus I am not and never have been sold on Bulger. They are way, way overrated
