Having seen some pix of you Jay, I'd have to say that's one temper that I'd prefer never to rile up.  Ever.

Cory H. aka Cine (FKA Jango_Fettish)

Name: Cory Hyman
Age: 26
Occupation: eBay Merchant - junkyard_junkies
Location: Coon Rapids, MN
Status: Same gal, 8 years this Nov.
Children: My Cat (see below)
Pet: Harley, a 20 lb tabby
Toy Lines: No longer collecting  :'(
Sports Teams: Bucs, Vikings, T'Pups
Hobby: Building a self satisfying DVD library
Bands: Anything hardcore, especially Hatebreed

I've had a sordid Star Wars collecting history. Been a SW fan since I can remember, getting the ESB Millenium Falcon for Christmas. I started being an actual COLLECTOR at the time of TPM's release. Collection has gone from maximum to minimal, usually because of financial hardships and just getting bored, coupled with a love hate relationship w/ Lucas and the P.T. Now, I've moved on to building my DVD library, which has been a work in progress for a couple of years now, but has grown from 85 to 326 in about 5-6 months.

I've gone by the aliases Boba Rocks, Dark Hybrid, Darth Hybrid, and more recently, Jango_Fettish. I was a member at CSW.com from September of 2001 until recently after I decided to hang it up. To round it out, I've served as a writer for Bill Cable's CreatureCantina.com, as well as JediDefender in the past, and now currently moderate at KillerMovies.com forums.

Name: Tracy Hladik
Age: 40
Occupation: Stay at Home Mother (formerly a legal secretary)
Location: Harrisburg, NC (just north of Charlotte)
Status: Married 7.5 years (Chris)
Children: 2 -- Justin/4 and Madeline Grace/1
Pets: Just sent our pug Hannah to a retirement home :(
Teams/Sports: NASCAR (hubby works for Penske so I gotta :-\), Panthers & Redskins
Music: Most of it - have been a U2 fan since "Boy"

I have been a Star Wars geek since I first saw ANH in the theater when I was 12.  The anticipation of wating for ESB and even more so for ROTJ was almost too much.  I can't imagine what it would've been like if we had the Internet and these Forums then.  Growing up I loved, loved, loved Leia, Han and Luke.  I couldn't get enough of the movies.  I think I was the only girl around who was into SW. :)

I grew up in Maryland and lived and worked in the DC Metro area for years.  I have travelled to Central America to do Missionary work, Canada for High School Band stuff, Ireland to drink and the Netherlands for pretty much the same :).  My fav trip was to Ireland.  Went by myself with an open ended ticket and a backpack and no plans other than to be in Dublin on St. Patrick's Day (it was their Millenium so it was quite the bash).  Stayed for nearly 8 weeks.

Sowed all of my wild oats before I met my hubby at work and settled into domestic bliss rather nicely.  He was definately my saving grace.  Waited until later in life to have my babies and am so glad I did.  Now I feel like I've done what I wanted to do and I'm not missing out on anything by being with them -- they are my joy and my life.

Still love to travel, love the beach, movies, smell of fresh lumber, mexican and Italian food and would eat pizza and drink Dr. Pepper everyday if I could :P  Hate selfish, inconsiderate, mean people.  Have had a crappy year when it comes to health issues -- still waiting to see a specialist -- they're trying to diagnose me with MS.  But its also been a good year -- was sick during my pregnancy and the baby came early but she is healthy and great so I can't complain.

Anybody else want to introduce themselves?

JohnH aka Daddysnaggle aka Shavenwookiee

Name: John Hamm
Age: 32
Occupation: Project/Admin Support for an insurance company
Location: Near Kansas City
Status: Married 7 1/2 years
Children: 2 girls
Pets: Dos gatos - Stimpy & Smokey
Teams/Sports: MLB (Royals & White Sox), College Hoops (Kansas Jayhawks) and some NBA
Music: Yes, thank you.  :)  I listen to a ton of stuff, particularly stuff that has odd times and experimentation.

I started getting Star Wars toys when they came out and have been a fan of the movies since.  I'm pretty much just a vintage collector, but I think some of the newer pieces look pretty good.  I'm also a big fan of the Alien movies, and while I don't collect much of it anymore I used to have a huge Alien collection (time to pimp out my site, www.8thpassenger.com).  ;)  I actually got out of collecting in April of 2003 because I felt it was the "responsible" thing to do and that I had better things to spend money on.  Later that year I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and in the course of seriously evaluating my life I realized that collecting was one of the true enjoyments I have (along with music and of course my family).  So later that year I got back into it, but financial constraints (a wife in grad school) have hindered that.  I'm hoping to pick back up full-force some time real soon.

I haven't done much musically lately, but I can play a bit of drums, bass, and guitar.  I used to write a bunch of music, but unfortunately a computer crash caused me to lose everything I'd written back in 2002 (23 songs, if I remember right), and I have had a bad case of writer's block since then.  Right now I'm instrument-less, but hope to get a guitar some time early in 2006.

That's about it for me.

John
