The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode IX
« on: September 3, 2015, 06:51 AM »
I agree with you guys completely! They need to hire a director who has experience and a filmography which includes lots of blockbusters! Otherwise Episode VI will tank. I mean who the hell is Richard Marquand anyway??????

 ;)

Medicom NEVER lost the Star Wars licence. They have stopped making any kind of Kubricks. Most likely because bearbricks are cheaper as they're just repaints.

I quick google search reveals this is a fake advert.

Dutch Playboy model Rosanne Jongenelen.

They took the picture from the right side if you ask me.

Slimer from the unreleased Ghostbusters set was sold on ebay.

The Hound (he is purportedly dead, but no body no proof)

The Hound isn't dead as he was the gardener? (going on memory) with the monks.

I was disappointed at the lack of phone booth wardrobe changes.

Probably due to the lack of phone booths. He just gets changed behind a towel at wifi hotspots now  :P

Kubricks / Re: 2013 Medicom Toy Exhibition Preview Party R5-D4
« on: June 23, 2013, 02:22 AM »
it's not a license issue that's preventing us from getting new kubricks.

It never was as they stopped doing new kubricks after the Real Steel 2 packs and DX4. It's just been re-releases on card for shows. I honestly think it's because a) they didn't make enough money off of them and b) they can do the same thing with bearbricks but a lot easier.

Remember that Medicom hasn't released any new kubricks for months now not just Star Wars. In fact since the Real Steel kubs came out I think it's just been repaints/reissues/carded Star Wars kubs.

Episode 7 kubs coming 2015?

Anyway now Disney own Star Wars they may not renew the contract with Medicom (Assuming it hasn't already expired).

It looks like they've retired the kubrick line and just moved everything over to bearbrick repaints.
