Hey Dale, you know Phoenix Comics on 17th Ave? I remember he had a few new in box ESB crawlers in the mid 90’s, Ben sold them off at $150 each, he offered me one in trade for some junk, but I picked some other stuff instead- Doh!

That’s really a great composition you’ve got there, very well executed.

Cine… I think you’re brilliant.

This one’s for all you guys who thought the FF movie was a pretty decent representation of the comic  ;):

I'd sooner drink "Orange Crush" than "Pepsi".

I’m been on a Corben kick, acquiring any graphic novels that I can find. When I was a kid I remember being mesmerized by his art- his technique is amazing.

Thanks for your comments! I exchanged it today; the one I took works a little better, though the sensor could still be more sensitive imo. Nevertheless it’s probably the most fun toy I’ve bought in years. Hopefully soon they release a Luke blue saber in the smaller 3-battery format, the ROTS is close but the different little details would grate at my  perfectionist bastard attitude.

I hadn't grabbed one of these yet, but saw one locally and broke down, 'picked up the Vader ESB and it’s phenomenal! When I first ignited it I had to control myself from freaking out… but I have a slight concern- for the clash sound to work I have to hit it really hard against something (I’ve been trying it against pillows cause I don’t want to crack the blade), is this the way they are supposed to function? Or is my saber a bit wonky? Anyone out there please let me know, cause if it’s faulty I'd like to exchange it asap before they're gone! Thanks a googolplex!!

Last film I saw him in was Bugbuster. This sucks- classic Trek undoubtedly rules the boob tube, but I suppose he's at peace now. Godspeed Jimmy!

I don’t get the Unlimited in Justice League, there has been JLA- A for America and plain JL but what’s the Unlimited mean?
The Green Lantern set looks cool.

Scratch Naked Lunch off of that list - they were all out of it at the MTC - as was every other movie trading company within 50 miles.  Disappointing since one of them had a copy like 3 weeks ago.

I remember the first time I saw naked Lunch-  a friend invited me over for a psychotropic getogether and against my better judgment I agreed to watch…before he pushed the play button he said, “if ever there was a movie that a religion should be based upon, this is it”.

When I was a kid I had all the figures loose minus the POTF as they weren’t available up here, then I got dysfunctional one day and sold them all off for $2 a piece, most were mint since I didn’t play with them after early Empire daze- just opened them and stuck ‘em in the “collector’s” cases. I had a few left that weren’t really super nice shape so I kept them… gave a bunch away to a friend… I think the only remnants of my childhood collection are a Vader, 3-PO, R2, Leia with crayon altered fatigues, and Luke’s disembodied head.

edit: oh yah, and IG-88, sans one arm.
