Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Rate your job satisfaction...
« on: September 16, 2005, 04:01 PM »
I've always worked as an admin. assistant for government contractors then and huge corporate law firm.  I hated both of them.  I liked being young and in a big city (D.C.) and there was always something going on with a group of people at work.  But I have to say, for the most part, attorneys are total asses to work with.  Glad I stuck it out though because I met my husband at the law firm.  I convinced him to quit a job he hated to do something he loves.  Before we got married we packed up all of our belongings and moved to NC to get into racing.  The hours and travelling were sometimes hard, but he's happy -- which makes all the difference in the world.  I love my job now -- stay-at-home-mom.  Never thought I'd do it but now that I have its the most fulfilling, albiet frustrating and underrated job I've ever loved.

Yeah, we don't need to get this into a political debate.  Although I did vote for him and am proud of it.
 :P
I'm proud to say me too! :)  Though I do find those pictures to be quite funny ;D

Guys, I think she had her carpet removed and replaced with the old style of floors -- you know -- the kind you have to wax often ;)

Looking forward to:

Lost -- missed a couple of episodes and now I'm lost (what is the hatch and what's up w/the numbers?)

Desperate Housewives -- my guilty pleasure (well, one of them ;))

Rescue Me -- the more I watch the more I love it.  Though it just finished up and we have to wait a while for new shows -- it seemed like a really short season.

Nip/Tuck

Hey yah WTH? the moderators removed a word in here that is a part of a woman's breast and starts with an A that was after "diameter". I guess it was felt pornish so it was removed. Hey! Whattdya want - I posted it in the porn oops, I mean hottie thread!

Actually, no moderator removed it.

If a mod had removed it, there would be an edit tag at the bottom of the post.  If you check it out, it is still in the original post.

I would guess that it was removed by tamidala when she was quoting your post because she felt it was a little crude (which it kind of is).

Didn't mean to stir anything up with your quote Slothus.  ??? I merely left that part out because (a) I felt it was much funnier coming from a guy without it and (b) it was rather crude and I didn't want to quote it.  No harm no foul I hope :)  That's what I thought "quoting out of context" meant when we were playing this game :-\  Did it bother anyone else?

Nothing exciting at all......T for Tracy -- Amidala for, well, you know.....  I wish I had spent a little more time coming up with a more creative name.  I also use Torgana on other forums.  Don't know why I went with Tamidala since I've always identified with Leia since I was a kid.......... :-\

BTW -- on a side note -- once you start using wipes be sure to use Pampers Sensitive wipes on her little girly parts ;)  After having a boy first we didn't think about it making much of a difference on our daughter but it seemed to be a big deal to her! :o :-[

Glad to hear you got some good sleep.  Yes, I'm pretty sure my mom has stopped taking the Ambien.  The cure was worse than the problem :(.

I can't believe its been four years.  I will never forget holding my 1 week old son, celebrating the most joyous, overwhelming, wonderful thing that had ever happened in our lives and at the same time watching the most horrible, overwhelming, hateful thing that had ever happened in our lives.  God Bless everyone who lost their lives, who lost loved ones, those who gave their lives and those who work to preserve and defend our freedom.  May we never forget.  God Bless America.
