What is it with SciFi geeks and Hooters?  The PSWCS has been known to frequent that establishment as well...   ;D

A complete and utter lack of a sex life?

Hey, I resemble that remark...

I'm planning on being there on the 10th.  As long as we aren't having a huge snow or ice storm.

Also, PM'ing you in a sec.

Is that Keeley Hazell? I think it is... :)

And she has a tape that was leaked by an ex out on the net.   ;)

Yeah, but I've seen better leaked sex tapes than that.

Good god!  :o  :o  8)

Battlestar Galactica 1/4 scale Colonial Viper

That's an awesome looking rocket though.  There's a GI Joe collector, J. Steven York, who launches model rockets and has videoed some of them plus I just watched "October Sky" this past weekend...I'm getting the bug to launch rockets again.  That's something I haven't done since I was 12 or 13 and was launching the $5 rockets we bought at the local hobby store.

Elisha Cuthbert again

I just watched The Girl Next Door again on New Years weekend.  Love that film and that photo is one reason why.

One thing I agree with that the AICN reporter commented on, I don't like having to read about that part of the business.

But, it's no secret that the accountants took over making films from the directors a long time ago.  It's only recently with films by Lucas and Rodriguez where we're starting to see directors take back some of that power.  This whole deal between New Line and Jackson sucks and the only people that could get shafted are the fans if the Hobbit sucks because NL changes the entire production, writing and directing team (not to mention the FX crew).

Personally, I don't want to see the Hobbit if Jackson doesn't make it.  I don't doubt that there are other directors that could make the film, but one thing that I would love to see is a consistency in the production that would make a cohesive 4 film epic along with LOTR and I think Jackson can do that.  Someone else would have to put their own spin on things and that would ruin it for me.

I thought the Pitt figure looked great when I saw the initial pictures.  If he's a BAF then I may have to get the line just to put him together.

I did the same thing with the ML Sentinel though.  I had interest in only the Spidey and Angel figures but bought the wave to get the Sentinel.  Sold the ML figures and made part of my money back.  Maybe I'll do the same with this line.

As for Pitt the comic, I liked it back in the day but have no idea what they've done with the character recently, if anything.

It was easily the best of this season!  Randy in the tree was one of the funniest parts to me.  As soon as the cop pulled out the tranquilizer gun I knew they were going to drop him on a trampoline...just like infamous bear in a tree video that's on YouTube (and gets spammed to your inbox every couple of weeks).

I've been wondering if they'll do a Sea Adventurer.  I think the GI Joe club still has their exclusive from last year available but I'd have to check the club store.

If somone did a black Commander that would be cool.

The Club's exclusive 12" membership figure this year is a red haired Arctic Adventurer using the foriegn head.  He'll come with a t-shirt and AT boxer shorts.  They're also doing an accessory set which will include a white AT arctic jacket, cargo pants, short white boots, rifle, shoulder holster, revolver and AT dog tag.

This year's convention 12" set is AT themed again and there's a special 25th anniversary RAH set but no details on those are out yet.

There's actually been good news on the 12" front, at least if you're an Adventure Team fan.

Hot Topic just had a great run with their $15 Land Adventurer and they're ordering more.  Urban Outfitters will also be carrying some of the LA figures and will also have an Air Adventurer, probably some time in January.

I thought that the Cylons and humans were both on the same path for Earth...both based on calculations that Baltar did.  I don't imagine Adama took the fleet that far off course looking for food so that's how they found the algae planet.  I'm guessing that the Cylons found it the same way.
