Interesting... the two reviews from AICN were pulled.  I guess somebody at LFL was pissed.  I wonder if JD will get a C&D for Jesse's.   ;D

Those guys are nuts.  I thought the movie was very enjoyable.  I can't understand why Massawyrm hated Ahsoka so much.  I didn't like the nickname thing myself, but otherwise she was a great character.  I can understand why Harry hated Zero, but I had other friends who thought he was fantastic.  I think they're just hating on Star Wars because it's cool to hate on Star Wars these days.

The series is constricted by the fact that we know the eventual destinies of all the players.  After the film we went to lunch, and one discussion was on when and how Ahsoka bites it.  Because that pretty much has to happen.  But that doesn't make the tale unworthy of telling.

I have no idea what the game is even about.  They're supposed to officially reveal it in two weeks at Leipzig.

I can honestly say I enjoyed Spider-Man 2 more than I enjoyed TDK.  TDK is probably a better film in a lot of ways, but a couple years down the road if I had to choose between the two on cable, I'd probably pick Spidey.

When adjusted for inflation, Star Wars made 1.26 BILLION DOLLARS in US theathers.  #2 only to Gone with the Wind.

That would be ridiculously expensive to do for a feature-length film, plus they'd need someone to voice the whole thing.  If the Joker is in the next one, he'll be played by another actor.  It's as simple as that.

I caught her in some movie while I was flipping channels... Broken w/ Heather Graham.  Just a gorgeous face.  She's only 21, so she's allowed to be thin.   :P

If you're a horror fan, it'd be worth your effort to find a theater playing Midnight Meat Train.  It opened this weekend direct to dollar theaters, at only 100 locations in the country.  I read a story a while ago about how the new head of the distributor had just produced a competing horror film which MMT was supposed to open against.  So out of spite he delayed MMT so his film would do better.  His film bombed.  So as not to be shown up, he pushed MMT to August in a very limited release.

Doing so, he basically doomed what is an excellent horror film.  It's the best one I've seen in a long while.  Very thrilling.  Very engaging.  The acting is was excellent about 85% of the time, which is well above average for the genre.  The gore might be too extreme for some people (the girlfriend of one of the guys in front of me stood up and left during one of the more extreme attacks), but if you're into that sort of thing it's fantastic.  It's very grim and doesn't play or end like your typical horror film.  But if horror is your thing, you'll be very happy you went to see it.

She doesn't open her mouth until 2:20 into the thing.  It's pretty much safe for work, too... just a talk show type thing.
