Looks like there will be an exclusive there. I guess we can all begin to speculate.

I just hope they are a nice as they were with SDCC and offer a non-attendees version.

At least one should be a 12" figure or accessory. If so it'll probably be a modification of something they've released or shipped already (ala Sith Apprentice). Maybe General Solo or Endor Luke. EII Anakin and Obi-Wan are just as likely, or Maybe a Black rebel commando. Hey they could even offer us the Dejarik Table with translucent figures.
I'd be really impressed (and happy) if the have a whole new character to offer.

I wouldn't mind a whole new figure as long as they hae some available for those unable to attend. Endor Luke actually makes alot of sense, pretty much just a ponsho and helmet.

I'm sure they'll have some available for non-attendees, just like Sith Apprentice. I was able to snag one of those.

Hey they could even offer us the Dejarik Table with translucent figures.
On the website they've indicated they can't do translucent figures for the table because they'd have to be made of plastic and they're too concerned about them not being able to stand up. So I think that's out.

Since it's the anniversary of "A New Hope", I'm thinking Luke in white robes or Han with Bloodstripe.

They could still do this only in flesh colors instead of translusent (sp?). Although that would be kind of lame really.

So an iconic 12-inch. This i guess changes things a bit, making more of a main character. I don't think it would be an entire new figure so that narrows it a bit. Perhaps a new head sculpt is possible, but with sideshow that is a new figure. With that, what are our options?
Endor Luke?
Smuggler Han?
Endor Leia?
Old Ben?

Well...I guess I won't be going nuts trying to get this one. If they were going to make a Ben Kenobi figure it would be a different story.

I'll take Luke but I sure do hope that it is a new head sculpt - never picked up the Jedi Luke because he looked so....uhm....well...just off.
Anyhow, I am guessing the ceremonial Luke as well.

Would like the figure to be X-wing outfit but either is cool with me as this has been my favorite new line of star wars I collect. These 12 inchs are just too awesome to pass on but would like a different head scuplt also a younger looking Luke.

My guess is that we will get a new head sculpt. Luke looks much different in a new hope than he does in ROTJ.

They better. The lips and look of the Jedi Luke are what killed it for me. If not for the Sith line, I would have never jumped in.

I think it looks great. Hope they get rid of Han's pants though. Luke's didn't have pleats.
And I never knew Luke carried that girly Leia blaster. I always assumed he had a macho man one like Han.

That does look pretty good - and one of the better Hamill likenesses we've seen in any of the lines so far. Must stay away...can't afford...must stay away :).

I didn't notice the blaster at first, but would think this actually fits him more. I don't see him having anything personalized or cool as Han's. At this point i still see Luke as a farm boy willing to take whatever blaster he can get. Just a thought. ;D

Managed to finally get mine too... for some reason, the actual order page didn't appear until about 1:30 EST for me. It's the only SSC exlusive I'll order. I've got enough display issues right now without getting into other lines and as it was mentioned, May is going to be straining the budget as is. (Not to mention APRIL with the Endor 3-some)

For those that preordered Luke for pick up at C4, SideShow sent out an e-mail reminder that they will begin processing credit cards for this purchase on May 3, 2007. Check out the e-mail they sent. ;)

So I finally finished unpacking from LA and opened up Luke. First off, I notice that he has one greenish blue eye and one brown eye....not cool. I start looking at the clothes (never knew the black shirt underneath was the tunic from ROTJ) and I notice his holster is broke, the back clip wasn't attached to the belt. I thought his shirt underneath was just a T-shirt. Oh well, he's articulated well (as usual for SS) and comes with extra hands but I doubt I will change to them. It's not the best figure from them and the eyes really kill the hole thing. I am curious if anyone else has 'bad' eyes or not. If not, I will call up SS and see if I can get a replacement.

I opened up Luke last night but didn't notice any issues with the eyes- I'll take a closer look. I DID notice the tunic though- front flap and all. I decided to change out the hands just because I'm not a fan of the "closed circle" hand pose but the alternate hands were a chore to get on. The wrist joints seem quite limp compared to the other figures as well. Definitely an improvment over the Hasblo piece, but a $35 improvement? I'm not convinced.

When i get home from work i will check mine as well. I didnt notice the eyes being different though.
