Glad to see Skiff Lando coming out again, one of my favorite figures since way back in the vintage days. Poo on it being a WM exclusive though.

Yes, it is supposed to be the VC89 sandstorm base figure with 'fixed' legs to correct his height.

An easy pass for me. I don't need a kitbash of something I've already got. Glad to see this is a WM exclusive and thus will never make it to retail to clog the pegs :P
Lando Skiff Guard was always one of my favorite figures though.

Certain stuff I’m willing to just forgive I guess? If I can tracknone down fine but I don’t know if I care or not. I didn’t get this clone they’re putting out that some people apparently beat Hasbro up over because some minor deco stuff on that minor grey deco suit was off... I always felt that was such a background clone I was just happy we got what we got. 🤷♂️
I’ve not gotten Boussh Leia either. Some stuff they’re rereleasing just doesn’t mean anything to me and owning a cardback isn’t worth $14 or more when I’m spending on so much other junk.

So under my account it says the two Landos I ordered should be delivered today, but the order is still processing. I have a feeling I'm not seeing these figures today. :D

Mine says it should have arrived by yesterday... I've been charged, but the order status still says "Preparing Order".
So yeah, not expecting this in the immediate future.

Mine says it is arriving today but is still tagged as "preparing order" as well.
I guess that explains the mystery of why they didn't sell out immediately. (some/most of us should probably expect to have our orders cancelled once the stock does become available.)

It's more that people are sick and tired of Walmart's inability to get exclusives in our hands. It's just another exclusive that should have been general release, or exclusive somewhere else.

Exclusives are the worst - Walmart exclusives are even worse than that.

I like to *THINK* that I can be pretty patient and would eventually see this Lando on the pegs at my local Walmart store. But lo and behold, there's been a Measles outbreak in the area where that particular Walmart store is located. Out of an abundance of caution I am not going near that store for the next month or more. And vaccinations or not, I'm not risking exposure to the measles to find an exclusive figure or go on a toy run. What's happened though is that a lot of retail stores in that area are like ghost towns, Walmart included, because of this nonsense.
In light of the situation I gladly placed an order via the Walmart app. And I'm still waiting on a shipping notification.

Today, refreshing the same window that told me they were "preparing order" yesterday, now tells me I haven't ordered anything from them in the last 6 months. My bank account would beg to differ--the payment is still pending there. I have received no cancellation email (never mind a shipping notice!) The order has simply disappeared.
I guess it was just an April Fool's prank. Except for the pending bank authorization, I feel so apathetic about all this. If anything, it makes me anticipate this figure much much less.

Over the past 18 months, it's pretty staggering the amount of failures Walmart has had -
Black Series 6" Throne Room Kylo - Due October 2017, finally started hitting stores March 2018
Black Series 6" Mimban Stormtrooper - Due May 2018, finally started hitting stores October 2018
VC122 Island Journey Rey - Due Spring 2018, cancelled by Walmart in Summer 2018, Pre-Order at EE in Fall 2018, finally shipped Winter 2018.
VC123 Mimban Stormtrooper - due Fall 2018, finally started shipping in Spring 2019.
VC144 Lando - our current massive 'over-order' debacle on Walmart.com
And that's not even including the distribution debacle that was the boxed 3.75" Black Series line in 2015-2017. About the only thing that managed to hit stores in good numbers were the dramatically over-priced $65 AT-ST and $80 TIE Fighter, which were both clearanced at like 75% off in many stores.
Basically, I guess I'm saying I expect my Lando order from the other day to either a) get cancelled next week or b) get fulfilled sometime in October 2019. :-X

Update on my order: I reached out via the WalMart "chat" and they told me that since I made my purchase with a guest account that it would not be visible to me until they send a shipping notification. (When I asked why I was able to see it yesterday, they told me they could transfer me to tech support. I declined.)
Their stance was that the order was still in the process of being fulfilled. I told them the timeliness of the promised delivery yesterday was a big factor for me. They offered to cancel the order and give me a $15 eGift Card for the trouble. I took that offer.
Sorry Lando, I gave up on ya! If I see you in the store while looking for the Adventure Playset, we will reconsider.

I know, Matt, I know. There was once a time where a highly communicable disease would NEVER stand in the way of me getting a retail exclusive as soon as humanly possible. I look on this shift in priorities as a blight on my record.

I know it doesn't mean anything until it clears, but my credit card has THREE FOUR charges of $14.32 pending. Waiting to see if they drop off or if any clear... there should only be one.

Apparently not, I just got an email saying it's on backorder and that if they can't ship by 4/13 they'll cancel my order...
I'd rather wait, it drives me crazy that they don't give me the option to leave it in place.

I got my delay notification as well. Gotta love it.
I've also heard that people were getting multiple pending charges for their orders. ::)
Edit: I decided to check my account on wm.com and was surprised Lando has apparently shipped with an estimated in-store arrival of 4/9. So you might want to check your accounts as well.

I just posted an edit on mine, in case you hadn't seen it, but I got an update on the arrival date of Tuesday. We'll see if it's true, but if it's a delay of a few days then I'm fine with it.

I got a shipping notification from USPS with a Monday arrival date, so I guess these are happening.

I did ship to store and didn't get any delay notices. IT says my order will be ready for pickup Monday evening. Hopefully the rest of your orders are just delayed, not cancelled.

My order arrived in a box tot small for the cards. >:( Damage wasn't horrible, but still. The interior volume of the box is probably about 1/16 of an inch smaller that the square of the card.

I got my shipment notification, too. Card condition is not that big of a consideration for me. So if I do receive a card that’s in good condition I’m willing to trade it for one with a not so mint card.

According to FedEx manager, my order is sitting at my house right now. I also received an e-mail from Walmart.com that it's been delivered.

Nothing from Walmart. I did get a notice from FedEx but I was thinking it was something from a third party Amazon seller coming today

Love the figure but it's odd that he comes with a functional holster, but no sidearm. I'm imagining Jesse developing an eye twitch over this.

My order was "out for delivery" all day, and then switched to "delivered" at 11pm, but there's nothing here. Looks like Walmart is using Lasership for delivery, whoever the **** that is. I guess I'll have to see if it magically shows up by tomorrow.

I’ve had the post office do that a couple of times in the past few months. I’m guessing they’ve got some service level contract with the shipper and are gaming the system by recording things as delivered when they’re running late. Each time the package has shown up the following day.

I did not get a shipping notice from Walmart either, but Lando showed up at my house yesterday. Walmart did send me a delivery notification email this morning to let me know I got the item yesterday though. ::)

Yeah, the missing gun was noted by fan media dudes at Toy Fair and the Hasbro response there was basically "whoops". Sounds like they didn't realize the gun was missing until the figure was too far along in the manufacturing process to add it.

My gamble didn't pay off - the box was very roomy, packed with lots of those airbag things and unfortunately, none of the cardbacks were without flaws. I have two candidates that I can "live" with if I have to, but I'm hoping that like the Mimban Stormtrooper, this will eventually hit the stores and I'll be able to cherry pick one off the pegs for my MOC collection. :(

So I missed your original post about this, but that was the first thing I noticed when I opened mine... super weird, and it seems lazy.

So I got (part) of my order yesterday. I originally ordered two of these the first time they were available, and never heard anything about them again. I reordered two again when they were available the second time, and received one of them yesterday. It was tossed in a box that looked to be slightly smaller than the actual cardback, so it was significantly crushed. The figure itself is fine, but I have been trying to keep a carded set of the OT figures they do in TVC, so I'm hoping to get a minty one down the road. Also curious what will become of the second figure I ordered. I really wish Wal-Mart would stop getting exclusives, they really don't seem to know how to handle them.

I had to contact Walmart to send me a replacement for the Lando that Lasership marked as "delivered" yet never actually delivered. My second Lando arrived yesterday via FedEx, so I have one at least.
I wonder if Walmart will send the replacement through Lasership? Not receiving things I bought is so much fun.
