Two weeks from now is a bit of a difficult week:

Bought the Muppet Show Season 1 today... I remember loving the show when I was young- but who in the world are some of these guest stars:
Juliet Prowse????
Connie Stevens
Joel Grey
Ruth Buzzi
Rita Monroe???
Jim Nabors
Florence Henderson
Paul Williams???
Charles Aznavour???
Harvey Korman
Lena Horne
Peter Ustinov??
Bruce Forsyth??
Sandy Duncan
Candice Bergen
Avery Schreiber??
Ben Vereen
Phyllis Diller
Vincent Price
Valerie Harper
Twiggy
Ethel Merman
Kaye Ballard??
and
Mummenschanz??? did they make THAT one up???
Anyway, it should give some good laughs :)
You are starting to damage my calm.

Picked up "Kung Fu Hustle" as well, that was it. Was considering "Dead Next Door" but passed. Probably will get "Sin City" for now, along with...

Only points of interest the rest of the month for moi aside from the 3 disc "Gladiator" and a blind buy of "Oldboy"would be...

I'm hoping by "Ringu 2", you didn't mean this......

One of the worst movies I've ever seen, right along with the new Wonka.  :P

Hello all,

Well I upgraded my t.v. to a 50 plasma this past week and got an upscale dvd player so went on a dvd buying spree.

Picked up the following this past week:

Underworld (Superbit)
Legends of the Fall (Superbit)
Men in Black (Superbit)
Patriot (Superbit)
Spiderman (Superbit)
Spiderman 2 (Superbit)
Black Hawk Down (Superbit)
Desperado (Superbit)
Meet the Parents (SE)
Meet the Fockers
Joy Luck Club

If you did not know Best Buy and Bestbuyonline.com has most Superbits on sale now for $9.99.

Looking forward to seeing Sin City and the new Gladiator, does anyone know if the Gladiator 3 disc version will have a new and improved transfer?

DBK

I'm not 100% sure if you were asking me or not, but just in case - Nope, I posted the image of the Japanese Ringu 2 which is what I'll be picking up just to check out - I didn't bother seeing Ring 2, and won't given how I can't find a single person I trust who liked it.

As for Old Boy and your notion of buying it blind - be careful, it's an awesome movie, you'll probably hate it.

You should probably stop bragging about this DVD scalping business of yours - I doubt anyone around here thinks it's anything but sleazy.

Oh.  I would have never figured that out.  The closest thing I could come up with was "On Original Package", which doesn't really make sense anyway.

Thanks.   8)

I knew someone back in high school who burned DVDs an resold them, he printed a list and would have a backpack full of DVDs. He pushed them on everybody, needless to say he didn't have too many friends by the end of the year. ::)

I had a great weekend movie wise and I wanted to share, sor-ry. Besides, you can't "scalp" something that no longer has an established value, not that a $0.99 starting bid is scalping, not to mention profits go to buy ME more movies. If that's the case, there's tons of people just like me that you guys deal with on a regular basis if you're buying anything released before ROTS.

I'll refrain from sharing anything I bought, rendering my participation on these foums useless. ::)

If all you can muster is telling everyone what DVD's you bought at Pawn Shops to resell, your participation on these forums is already useless.
