I picked up a couple of DVD's at Wally today, first time I have been looking for something in awhile.

I still haven't watched this yet, but I've very curious to see what it's like.

I know you remember this TV series.   ;)

Too bad it's all in French but it's just like watching it back in the days. Glad I picked it up.  8)

Yes I do both my brother and I watched even though we had no clue of what was going on.  It just looked awesome  ;D.

So I'm reading about the Blues Brothers disc at digital bits and it seems like it's the same extended cut that came out in 2003 .... so I might just scratch that off my list.

It does has both, extended and original (as has already been said here) - but the biggest reason to get this is the new transfer. This movie has never looked so amazing. If you haven't picked it up yet, and are on the fence about it... go and get it. It's well worth it.

You'll need to drop the H in Pachem if you want to spell it right.

I still need to pick up Sin City. Though at this point it'd be wiser to wait for the Special Edition.  :P

I forgot "Save the Green Planet" was released today! I saw that trailer like 3 months ago and decided to blind buy it as well. But the $25 price tag isn't very inviting.

EDIT: Nevermind. There's an R0 2 disc set that goes for about $9.99 on eBay, brand new.

I'd also suggest passing on "The Deer Hunter". It's only 2.0 stereo audio, and doesn't include the extras it claims to have, and the only difference between it and the old release is a new anamorphic widescreen transfer.

Nice surprise in the mail for me today.

In addition to amending my purchase list, which ended up including:

Rocky 4 (Remastered HD transfer)
Dead and Breakfast
Crash (W/ Best Buy Bonus Disc)
Toy Story 2 Disc
To Kill A Mockingbird

..and when I got to Wal Mart, they had this series of WB DVD's called "Comedy Double Feature" for $7.84, so I grabbed this..

Cheap, Widescreen, has some extras, and I never wanted to own anything past 4, really.
