Today I picked up #01 Luke Skywalker (luke pilot from anh). Excelent Figure.

I bought Luke the other day. It is fantastic and look forward to getting some more. I am more excited about them than the 3 3/4 figures at the moment. I am just burnt out on the smaller figs. I can only buy so many of the same characters in the same scale. Blasphemy, I know but there it is. I will get some along the way of course. Anyway I ordered the Sandtrooper on Amazon. I hope they package it nice for shipping?

I was gonna post the same thing - went to barnesnnobles yesterday and was surprised to see some wave 2 figs - boba, han, slave leia, and greedo. Boba looked as awesome as I expected and Han looked better than I had seen in photos, leia and greedo were good nut nothing special. But man, $25 was too steep unless they ever go on sale and/or you have a coupon.

I had a 25% off one item coupon, so with my normal 10% discount, he worked out to $17. I agree, $25 is too steep for these in the normal course of things. Boba I probably would have paid full price for in any case, given how hard he's been to find.

My local Target has ten Luke Skywalker figures and one Greedo. Weird. If I do get on this band wagon, it will be from Amazon at a sub $10 price.

Got the Stormtrooper from HTS a while back. Wasn't too broke up about the additional expense as I probable saved twice than much in gas trying to track him down at retail already.
That said, I was bummed that I got one with a bad belt. I had to glue at the seam to keep it from falling off. Still, a nice shiny stormtrooper.

The three Targets I cleaned out a week or two back all re-stocked over the weekend with the newest wave. :)
I was able to score two more Stormtroopers and my buddy got the third. Hoping the log jam has now abated and these will resume selling through as they were before that whole Greedo/Leia debacle.
Luckily one of the Stormtroopers I found had decent paint apps around the eyes, the other was as bad as the first one I bought. Seems to be a real challenge for them.
Glad to be done with this wave more or less, will be hard to resist buying more Stormies if I see 'em though.

Picked up a Stormtrooper, Bespin Luke, and Han at TRU last week, since they're actually getting stuff instead of leaving pegs bare. I have to admit, Han and the Stormie are really neat figures. Now to pick up Fett...

Picked up another Sandtrooper at TRU over lunch today, since I already gave in to the army building impule for the regular Stormies. I figured it would look a little silly just having one trooper standing there next to the officer that is due out soon.
Plus I haven't seen this guy around much for quite awhile, thinking I might not have too many more chances at him. I got them to price match the $17.99 online price too.

The wave 1 sandtrooper is the officer, isn't it? I thought the trooper variant coming out was the "trooper"? I could be wrong as I can't recall which color the wave one was. Orange is the officer color though.

There were two oranges that stopped the speeder and iirc entered Docking Bay 94 too. So there are multiples around anyway. :)

In the OT I always got the sense that rank insignia like the Sandtrooper pauldron colors and the Imperial Officer badges were not given a significant degree of thought.

I had to go back and check...I scored the whole Stormtrooper wave on November 8th LAST YEAR.
That's going on NINE MONTHS now with no new figures in circulation. That can't have been their intention right? What a wasted year this has been so far...

My bad...sorry, was looking at an earlier post I had made. It was actually March. I guess a more accurate statement would be we've only had 1 wave of new figures this year.
For some reason it does feel like longer than that.

Found the Biker Scout w/ Speeder Bike set at Target today. They're having a BOGO 40% off sale on all toys this week, so was able to get 2 of these for $32 + tax each. Takes a bit of work to get the Scout on the bike properly, but once he's on it makes for a great display. Check the JD Facebook page for a photo ;)

Found the Biker Scout w/ Speeder Bike set at Target today. They're having a BOGO 40% off sale on all toys this week, so was able to get 2 of these for $32 + tax each. Takes a bit of work to get the Scout on the bike properly, but once he's on it makes for a great display. Check the JD Facebook page for a photo ;)

I picked up the Speederbike set yesterday. Love it, but there are some disappointments to it:
1. The power cell on mine is not completely circular, as if the piece wasn't completely solid when someone set it down after taking it from the mold.
2. The tarp or sack that sits behind the Scout is too large. It also would have been cool if the straps holding it down were painted a different color to stand out more.
3. Because the tarp/sack is too large, the thrust flaps cannot be opened all the way. At best, they open to about 45%. I wish they could open up completely though for speed instead of 'cruising'.
4. The stand is nice and is design so that you can display the bike at three different heights. I tried the tallest first, but found it difficult to find a balance sweet spot. Also, the long one is thin towards the top that when I tried to adjust the speeders position, it would twist, so I feared snapping that leg off. I ended up using the shortest leg, since having the long and medium on the ground provided the best balance... and I'm happy with that since I'm only buying one of the bikes.

It's definitely widespread in our area. They had it at Midway, Chan, and Chaska with signs all over the place.

Scored my 6" Stormtrooper at long last. Made a trade with a long time friend to get this one because to date I have STILL not seen a 6" TBS Stormtrooper in the wild.

That's odd. My local TRU also restocked with Wave 2 recently... no Boba, but was surprised to see Greedo and Leia when it was just 2 Hans there. I guess Han needed a Greedo to hang with before the Showdown 2-pack showed up.

Friend of mine texted me he found the Deluxe sets at a Target across town this morning and stashed one for me. But when I got there to snag it, there was nothing. :(
As a prideful collector it's hard to let that kind of karmic slap go quietly, so I trekked out to a remote Target way off my usual beaten path immediately afterwards and was able to get them to pull one for me from the back. Thank you, Toy Gods! :D
Looking forward to opening this up tonight, I already cleared space on a new dedicated shelf in anticipation.

I picked up the Bikerscout! Very excited. The piece is nearly a bonafide work of art; the figure itself is nearly perfect, it doesn't suffer from the stormtroopers quazi-bowleggness and is beautifully detailed. The is pretty bitchen', however, I wish the handle bars had some articulation, and the exhaust petals not having it's full range of motion is disappointing.
Over all, a great display piece. Very sound and satisfying purchase.

That ROTS Obi-Wan cannot possibly be pegwarming as much as Greedo and Slave Leia. In fact, near me, Han Solo is approaching pegwarmer status as well.

Here it's Leia Leia Leia, with Greedo a close 2nd. Han's still not around nearly as much (TRU some, one at any given KM I visit), aside from those TRU Cantina sets of course.
Not much of anything else... The Deluxe figures are not exactly flying out the door, Scout included, but I'd not call pegwarmer on those yet by any means. Leia's reigning champ for now.

This is the exact same as around here. I would feel compelled to make some kind of insinuation about human characters not being as appealing as the other figures, but Greedo messes up that theory.

"Pegwarming" at my stores in Austin:
- Target: Most stores have nothing. The ones that do have 2 Greedos, a Leia and a Han. You can occasionally find an Obi-Wan or a Bespin Luke if they've gotten a new case, and an occasional 3.75 inch figure
- Wal-Mart: All they sell anymore are toy lightsabers, but some stores still have TVC TPM figures with almost 3 years of dust
- TRU: See Target, except they have 10 3.75 inch Biggs figures
The last 2-3 years have really put 2002-2005 to shame

I think (I hope) my area here in Iowa is particular. Peg warming here:
Target: Anakin, Greedo, 1 Stormtrooper for about five days now.
Wal-Mart: only one case of Wave 3, but has not moved in over a week, including the Stormtrooper.
TRU: Everything is peg warming there, Wave 1-3 except for Boba and the Stormtrooper. They've had a Biker Scout for over a week.

With the 6" logjam around here, I finally broke down and placed an online order for 2X Anakins and 3X Clone Troopers. Even with shipping it came to less than I would have paid at retail anyway. :)

I got my Anakins and Clone Troopers today, perfectly packaged and right on time. Just opened them up and start futzing around with them.
Anakin from the neck down is actually a pretty dope figure, I especially like the blend of soft goods and plastic around the waist. I haven't had any trouble posing him or getting him to stay standing either, he can do a pretty wide range of stances. But eesh, that head sculpt is as underwhelming in hand as in photos. I ended up going with the Sith head for display purposes, but neither really seems up to snuff with the other human sculpts so far. And yeah, they both sit too high on the neck.
Clone Trooper is about as expected too, at least for me: solid but unspectacular. It's a nice sculpt, mine is a little loose around the torso but not terrible. The limited range of motion doesn't bother me too much as I sort of consider it to be more or less realistic (figure these guys probably had a hard time moving around in that early gear). I'm thinking I will probably stick with two of these guys and not army build them beyond that. I'm sure there are plenty more iterations in the pipeline starting with the Sergeant anyway.
This is probably my least favorite wave so far, but certainly worth picking up and not terrible efforts overall, just not among their best results in this line to date, IMHO.

Just an FYI if any of you have the Kroger grocery chain in your area: they are currently running a Buy 2-Get 1 Free deal on all SW figures, including 20" Black Series. Their prices are a little higher ($21.99) but it still works out to around $15 each which isn't terrible.

Stopped by a Walgreens after work that had nothing but did encounter a helpful manager who kindly printed out an inventory summary for all the local stores showing any stock for the SW 6" BS. That led me to another nearby store where I was able to get someone to pull a few from the back for me. Apparently around here they are only getting them in groups of 3. I got Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and Jedi Luke. :)
I have a friend holding on to an extra Proto Boba for me, so now I just need to track down a couple of Black Pauldron Sandtroopers.
Look forward to busting these out tonight!

I picked up the black pauldron Sandtrooper last night at Walgreen's. He and Vader and Luke were actually sitting on top of another shelf away from the toy aisle with the rest of their overstock. Nice figure, definitely will be adding another one of these guys at some point. I need a break from Walgreens for awhile though.

Recieved my 5 Stormtroopers from DST last week, but unfortunately one of them had an ankle joint that was faulty. It moves from side to side, instead of front to back :(
I contacted DST, asked them if they could help me or if I should contact Hasbro instead. Since I don't live in the USA, I really wondered if contacting Hasbro would help. Let me tell ya, Teri from customer service solved the matter in hours. A replacement trooper is on his way to my place as we speak. Awesome work there.

I nabbed the new Sandtrooper from Walgreen's this morning as well as a second Proto Fett. I wish the new Sandy was an all-clean version, but oh well. Second Fett is up for grabs to the MN crowd.

Picked up Black Pauldron Sandtrooper #2 over lunch today. LOVE this figure. Hope I can stop at 2. I think I can.
Also got my Proto Boba figure from a fellow collector who was holding one for me. Every single one of these I have seen now (4-5 so far) has had the same errant silver spot on the right side of the faceplate. That has to be intentional I guess, but would love to hear if anyone has found one without this apparent "defect".

While searching for the exclusive Fett (and honestly, really hoping to find Chewie), I was able to pick up a Vader and Jedi Luke at two seperate stores. Those are the only two figures I've seen at Walgreens over the past few weeks, but it was nice to find something new.

It is about impossible now to find a Proto Fett around here, plenty of Vaders and even some Sandtroopers. I've only seen Chewie once.

Caved and picked up my second Biker Scout Deluxe set from a Target that had apparently restocked these recently. (!) I wasn't in a hurry to nab #2 but he had a perfect visor and crisp paint job so I figured it was too hard to pass up.

Still searching Walgreens stores. The in-stock locator on the website has been totally wrong so far, and employees are starting to give me death glares for walking in and out so quick without buying anything.

The Fett Finder has been hit or miss for me. I still haven't found a Proto Fett. But the leads it gave me did help me find the TBS Darth Vader and Chewbacca.
And in the process? I found a 20" Darth Maul at one Walgreens store. I hadn't seen that one before.

My wife bought me the Biker Scout set for my birthday and I actually found a Stormtrooper in the wild for the first time ever. A good couple days!

Picked up my Shadow Squadron set at lunch today courtesy of the DPCI Mind-Trick. Man, this thing is all kinds of awesome, didn't think I would be so jazzed about simple repaints but they came out so nicely!

I ordered a regular Boba Fett off HTS last weekend when they had a 25% off and free shipping deal, and it got here today. Debating if I want to track down a second one, or even worse, the SDCC version with Carbonite Han.

Managed to find both Yoda and the TIE pilot at a TRU two days ago. The store got in several cases. Someone nabbed all but one TIE pilots and left the rest. (And no, it wasn't me. :P)

That's awesome, we haven't gotten a whiff of those here yet. I keep hoping Amazon will get them back in stock for a reasonable price but that doesn't seem likely.

Classic toy karma, one post about not finding new 6" was all it took. A late night series of surgical Target strikes netted me a brand new TIE Pilot and Yoda. ;D
Oddly, I found just those 2 figures and then at the next closest Target I found Obi-Wan and the Clone Sergeant. Weird coincedence, or maybe they are breaking up cases like with the 3&3/4" stuff?
By the time I got home I was literally too tired to open either one, but I can already tell I am going to need multiple TIE Pilots...that dude is bad-ass!

Not a purchase, but an interesting find related to the Black Series 6" figures. One Amazon seller is offering a 6" scale softgoods Jedi robe (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LOU65HC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=S70AI2KTY2S9&coliid=I2B1CH6F2BNR3Q). Thus far the only figures that it's appropriate for are the ROTS versions of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. But with the potential for more Jedi figures in the near future, this could be a cool accessory.

Well, the Clone Sergeant seems to be lingering a little bit. At least on Walgreens store pegs. I picked up Yoda and the TIE Pilot 2 weeks ago and decided to hold off on the more abundant Clone Sergeant. Sure enough, when I returned to the same store there were PLENTY of Clone Sergeants left.

Finally found a Yoda at a grocery store today. Went ahead and grabbed it but I have no idea what happened. I know Hasbro was going for an "ultimate" Yoda but the sculpt looks more like Episode 1 Puppet Yoda in ESB clothes. Not their best work.

Hot damn, found a full fresh case of the new Emperor wave at Target over lunch today. ;D It was hard to comprehend seeing new stuff on the pegs for a second, but I did not hesitate to snatch them up. Very thankful not to have to deal with that split case nonsense too. One fell swoop and no army builders in this wave.

I bought the Luke and Wampa set off HTS yesterday...they had it for $35, which is odd because the HanTaun set is still listed at $40. I threw in some other stuff to get free shipping and had a 15% coupon so it worked out pretty cheap. I don't have a high confidence level about seeing this at retail anytime soon.

Found all of Wave 2 minus Phasma (of course) on the pegs at Target over lunch. Only 1/4 local stores had them...the rest just Wave 1 stragglers.
Really happy to have found these but missing 1 always turns out to be a thorn in my side, especially a figure that is going to be in demand as Phasma. I'm going to have to get lucky with the timing on this one, I can tell.
And I'm going to need multiples of the Enforcer, that is one kick ass figure, no question.

While it means I may wait a little longer and pay about $1-$2 more per figure, at least I'll get them in the end - and the extra cost is really covered (if not exceeded) by what I spent on gas driving all over town. If I happen to come across something in a store, then I'll get it, but its nice having that piece of mind that in the end, I'll get what I want :)

Yeah, I'm burned out on making store runs these days. Its not like 10 years ago when there was new stuff hitting all the time and less tech to track everything. You're better off checking stock ahead of time or ordering online, though in cases like the Target 2-pack I think you still need to track them down at the store, right?

After a lot of driving around the past 2 days to various Gamestops around town, my persistence paid off with the purchase of what is apparently the lone 6" TIE fighter in the greater metro area. They said they only got one in so I figured I'd better jump on it.

Wave 2 showed up VERY briefly on Amazon yesterday at $19.99 each. But they sold out really fast. The current high pricing is from Amazon Marketplace sellers. As for the $21.99 price point? That might be a result of the Black Series selling through so fast, and Amazon may just want to make some more $$$.

Stopped in TRU last night to continue the hunt for the LEGO 3PO and found the Snowtrooper Commander. They had 8, and half of them did not have the TRU Exclusive sticker.

Hux should be in Wave 4 I believe, along with Asty and the regular FO Snowtrooper. Wave 3 is the TIE Pilot and Finn in Resistance outfit "Resistance Trooper"...

Stopped at a 24 hour WalMart on the way home from work tonight. They had four cases of TFA 6" Wave 2 on the pallets, so I was finally able to score the 6" Captain Phasma for my 6" First Order Collection.... Based on McMetal's post below, I guess the next figure I'll be getting is the TIE Pilot in Wave 3. Not sure if I'm going to pick up the "regular" First Order Snowtrooper or not since I already have the TRU exclusive version...

Maybe in your part of the state, but over here in Jesusland, she's still EBay scalper fodder. At least nine cases have hit between three Walmarts, a Target, and a TRU and although every other figure from those cases has been hanging from the pegs when I've shown up, Phasma has been magically missing. Granted, some of those may be making their way into actual collector hands, but when she's the only figure that is missing? I kind of doubt that's the case overall. How I had not missed this bull****... ::)
I suppose it would be good if Hasbro did a full case of Phasma in time for the holidays (along with cases of Kylo Ren and FO Stormtroopers) to meet demand and drive down the secondary market prices and/or eBay idiocy, but then they'd have to divert resources from Finn repack production and that would just be crazy.

I've been seeing partials of Wave 2 at Walgreens (Constable Zuvio and that Gauvian Enforcer figure) and have likely been missing it from Target since all I usually see is a lone Finn. But I'm not going crazy, going to ever store first thing in the morning or anything, so what I'm finding is to be expected... That said, I ordered the 2nd wave from Entertainment Earth, paid only a little more per figure than I would have at retail (covering what I would have spent on gas running around town) and now I have Captain Phasma ;)

Our long national nightmare is over, and thanks to Amazon and some nice timing on Thanksgiving evening, Captain Phasma has finally taken her place in my collection. ;)
I also picked up Kylo Ren (Starkiller Base) at the local (still inexplicably open) Kmart earlier this week, at which point I, of course, saw my first Phasma hanging on the pegs. I left her there for someone else to hopefully add to their collection, go under a tree for a kid on Christmas morning, and not, I dread, wind up on Ebay or Amazon as a VHTF HOT RECALLED VARIANT CAPITAN PLASMA STAR WAR 6 FIGUR. ::)

I already had that complete set from an Entertainment Earth order, but wanted an extra Captain Phasma and Stormtrooper to unbox and didn't want to pay premium prices on eBay or Amazon.com. I rather like the Resistance Trooper, but sadly, its helmet isn't removable... Or rather, you can pull it off but it's not designed to come off as the figure has only a partial head sculpted beneath the helmet. The facemask on the helmet does lift up, though.

My stores stocked a ton of Phasma's wave before the film opened. So remnants of that are what I'm seeing mostly, and Constable Bit Part.

Scored the 6" General Hux and regular First Order Snowtrooper at my local WalMart this morning - they did have Asty as well, but I left him since I'm limiting my 6" collection to members of the First Order.
I guess I'm down to just needing the Flame Trooper from the next wave and then I'll be done with 6" collecting unless they have more First Order characters coming down the pike that I'm not aware of...

I found the Hux/Asty/Snowtrooper Wave today too - at Walmart. I was beginning to think we were in some kind of weird toy vortex here, since everywhere else seemed to be getting these at the same time. I really like Asty, the Snowtrooper is sort of meh after getting the TRU exclusive, and Hux' face is just plain weird.
Been a busy few weeks for this line - I love it though!

I think there must have been a whole bunch of stuff on Jakku that got cut out. There must be more scenes with a Riot Control Stormtrooper than the one at Maz's, and there must have been a bunch of stuff with Constable Zuvio.
Agreed this two pack seems very odd considering what was actually released in the theaters.

Made a flurry of toy runs the past 2 days in the hopes of finding another Snowtrooper and a Hux with better eyes. Ended up finding (and buying) another TIE Pilot, another Asty, and 2 more Shocktroopers. I finally did find a lone Snowtrooper on the pegs at Walmart too, so that was nice.
Apparently there is an "unpainted neck" Snowtrooper variant I need to track down now as well. Both of mine have the proper painted neck. :P

Finally found (and bought) the Poe/"TR-8R" 2 pack at my local Target... pretty much the only actual Star Wars figures on the pegs if you don't count the 6 inch TIE. Looked to be a fresh case too. For some reason my area hasn't been getting exclusives until really, really late recently.

Yes, she is re-packed in Wave 3 too. It is a slightly upgraded version from the previous release as I understand it. Very minor differences mostly. The repacked Kylo is a lot different...I posted about him in the Wave 3 thread.

I happened to find a TIE Pilot, General Hux, Snowtrooper, and Ello Asty at WM last weekend. Just sitting on a shelf randomly away from the regular SW section, but I was happy to pick them up. Really like the Snowtrooper design for this movie, and the TIE pilot is pretty nice too.

Found a case of Wave 3 last night on my way home from work - so I grabbed the Rey/BB-8 out of it since I hadn't picked her up yet. Originally I was only going to get First Order characters, but that darn Poe/Stormtrooper 2-pack prompted me to want to get a set of the heroes, so I'm probably going to order Chewie from Hasbro Toy Shop and also pick up Han when I finally stumble onto that wave.
Not sure if I want to bother with the Guavian Enforcer or Constable Zuvio - I suppose if I pick up a Zuvio, I'd be helping "the cause" hehe
Okay - so in order to get free shipping from Hasbro Toy Shop, I went ahead and picked up the 6" Chewie, Pilot Poe Dameron and Guavian Enforcer figures. I know several locations locally where Zuvio is still hanging around, so I'll pick him up on the way home tonight... Then all I'll need for TFA 6" 'completeness' will be to find Asty, Han, Finn and the Flametrooper as well as pick up one of those big TIEs (still not sure about that one).

Went looking for the 3 3/4" exclusive wave at Wal-Mart this morning, and happened across Wave 5 (Han, Jango, FN-2187, Flametrooper) which was a nice surprise. Also found the Emperor's Wrath Vader at Walgreens, so pretty good morning.

Stopped by a Walmart store after work today looking for the Han and Rey 3.75" wave. Lo and behold I found about 10 of the new 6" Black series First Order Flametroopers. There was a 6" Phasma, but no sign of the rest of the new 6" figures. It almost looked like this store had received solid cases of the Flametroopers.

I picked up a 6" First Order Snowtrooper last night. I also saw the TIE Pilot, but for some reason I keep passing on that particular figure. Also glad to see that more Rey's, Finns and Kylo Rens are making their way to stores in refresh assortments.

I picked up the brown helmet version of the Resistance Trooper today. The figure itself is pretty cool. But is it me, or do the resistance uniforms look a bit uninspired compared to some of the Rebel uniforms of the OT.

The entire costume design of the resistance was uninspired. Looks like everything was made with felt.

Found and purchased the Wave 3 variants of Kylo Ren and Rey at Target this afternoon. The differences are just enough that I don't mind dropping the extra cash for duplicates.

I picked up full cases of Wave 4 (Hux, Asty, Snowtrooper) and Wave 5 (minus Han) at TRU on Saturday taking advantage of their BOGO half off deal. Even with the price increase to $21.99 that is a pretty decent deal.

That is interesting. Really, the Finn figure should have been exclusive to just Wave 1 of the 6" figures back in September on Force Friday instead of being a fixture in each wave or revision since. Would rather they included the FO Stormtrooper as the steady figure in each wave as at least one can "army build" with that one. Maybe give the figure a new gun or Luke's lightsaber or something to change things up a bit.
Makes me feel sorry for John Boyega in a way... I mean, his character in TFA was cool, but he's definitely not popular as an action figure.

I bought the LAST Finn (and last 3.75" TBS figure in general) at my store the other day for fodder purposes.
It hit here repeatedly, and multiple cases, but man, we're all sold out.
6" is always backed up to a degree.
The 4" stuff flew off pegs though, almost as soon as it hit. Even the repacks, which tells me something about who's buying it (IE: Not the old guard).

It's actually really strange to see an image like that one. Prior to the release of the movie, Finn figures seemed to sit. And I will still see his 6" figure linger for a little while now. But since the movie came out? Those Finn figures seem to sell through at a steady pace. In fact, the only Finn besides the 6" version that I see with some regularity at this point is the pack-in figure that comes with the Jakku landspeeder. And I hardly see ANY 3.75" Black Series figures at all anymore.

That sucks, as I think the 3.75 inch Black Series Finn is the best figure of the set. I have the 6 inch version but haven't opened it but it seems like a decent figure too.
There's only one store locally that has pegs stocked like that, a local TRU that got a million cases of 6 inch Wave 2 but sold out of Phasmas and has everything remaining. This same store doesn't stock 3.75 inch figures, however. All of my other Targets and Walmarts have maybe 1-2 figures if that. Kind of odd to still be seeing the same empty pegs I've been seeing the last 3-4 years even after the popularity of the movie exploded.

There is a Target near me that has about eight six-inch Finn's (and another that has eight Zuvios). But this certainly isn't the norm.
Locally the 3 3/4" figures on the pegs are all wave 2 "blink and you'll miss them" characters and the Inquisitor repack. I never see any heroes on the pegs.

From that wave, I picked up 2x Poe for a spare pilot, 2x Rey to display with and without her headgear, 2x Stormtroopers, and one Finn. He's the clear pegwarmer of the group. I'm sure one of the stores near me will have a 6" Zuvio herd in the near future.

Found the Han Solo/Flametrooper/Finn (FN-2187) wave this morning on my way into work (finally). I'm all caught up now on my 6" TFA collection until figures like C-3PO w/Red Arm, General Leia & Maz Kanata start showing up.
Still on the fence about whether or not I want to get the Rebels figures in the 6" scale. I just KNOW at some point there will be 3.75" SA versions of the main crew members and probably an updated Ahsoka - but the Kanan, Sabine and Ahsoka 6" figures do look good - it will probably come down to when I see them in person for the first time and whether or not I want to pull the trigger - the only reason I jumped into the 6" TFA line is cause I didn't think we'd get nicely articulated versions of these characters in the 3.75" scale - and so far - we've only gotten five of them (six if you count the re-released 3.75" SA Chewie figure), so there's definitely a chance that one day I'll regret getting any of these 6" figures. :-\

That sounds easy enough but it was actually the culmination of many days' worth of fruitless Brickpicker stalking, Jedi mind-tricking, and driving around from store to store. I can honestly say I have never put in so much effort to find one of these waves. I just have a weird feeling these are all going to be really hard to find, like that Wave 4 that came and went like a thief in the night.
I don't mind so much, it's easier then stalking TRU or Walgreens, but still can be a tiresome exercise. I have stumbled across so many Wave 2 revision cases it's not even funny. And I still have never seen the legendary standalone display that seems to migrate from CD's to clothes to the grocery section. It's like the Castle of the Beast in Krull. After sundown it will pop up somewhere else in the store that I can't find. :D
Kanan looks awesome BTW. Can't wait to find the others!

I'm still missing most of everything from Wave 4 onward. About the only thing I see stocked infrequently is Wave 5, but its always mostly cleaned out before I can get there. Wave 3 came and went really quick, and I don't know of anyone locally that saw Wave 4.
I'm getting really tired of hunting for these things. You can't find these on HTS.com, and the secondary market is off the charts nuts. $70 on Amazon for a General Hux. $35 for a Han Solo.
It would be really nice to hear from Hasbro what the heck is going on with this line and where all the product is. Has it all shipped? Is it stuck in China? Did they delay Wave 4 so it will come out after Wave 6?

I found another Kanan and a couple of Snowtroopers yesterday too. That's the 2nd time that has happened to me recently, and this store had just put stuff out. I almost wonder if there is some weird case revision shipping that doesn't include Luke and Ahsoka.
That Hux wave I only ever saw twice I think, once at Walmart and then many weeks later at TRU. That one was really hit or miss. The only waves I've had a harder time finding were the ones with Anakin and the Clone Trooper and that one wave with Bossk. That Hux wave will probably resurface over the summer...hopefully.

Woo hoo! Found Luke and Ahsoka at Target over lunch today. I literally walked in as they were stocking the shelves. Nothing on the pegs but I spied an opened box of SW 6" on the floor and sure enough it was Wave 6. ;D I guess they were planning to put them back in the stockroom since there was no room on the pegs with all those Finns and Resistance Trooper with Not Green Helmets chilling there. Talk about great timing though, I was super happy.
Looking forward to a nice long break from storehunts. At least until Starkiller Rey starts hitting...

Spotted Tatooine Luke and Kanan at Target yesterday but passed since I'm going on a vacation for a few days and need the cash. I thought it was weird that there was just those two from the wave... similar to when I found Han and FN-2187 a few weeks ago. I guess my store is either putting out half cases since the pegs are full of Zuvios?
Either way I was able to give a heads up to a buddy who wound up picking up the Kanan. I'm eyeing just ordering a case of that wave online.

The TFA release has been hit or miss for figures. I've seen Targets that went all out with the cardboard aisle displays and fully stocked pegs (the store I bought the movie from had 3 Phasmas and 3 Hans!), but most Targets and Walmarts around me didn't bother stocking anything... same figures and empty pegs they've had for the last 3 months.
Now to track down the Luke/Rebels wave, and debate if I should get the stuff that never shipped here (Luke/Wampa, IG-88 wave, etc.)

I found Han and Jango Fett the other day at Target and just got the FN-2187/Stormtrooper Finn on ebay from Hasbro for the normal retail price. I like the Jango figure - If I can find another, I may try a head swap, say with a Commander Cody figure, to make a Clone Trooper with its helmet off. I'm excited about getting the FN-2187 figure simply because I can put him and the Poe figure from the Target-exclusive pack in my big TIE Fighter to replicate their escape scene from the movie 8)
Now to find the Rebels figures and General Hux...

I thought so at first too but the new Kylo that is shipping is actually the "revised" version that has the unique headscarf, etc. So it's technically another variant. ;D I bought one yesterday and compared it to my original and they are definitely different.

Mine was actually $36... sold by a 3rd party and fulfilled by Amazon. The lightning deal was $10 off. Not much of a discount, but this never showed up locally, and it was still a few bucks off MSRP, which was good enough for me.

Found an Ahsoka the other day at WM (which I'm giving to a local collector buddy), and last night I found the new Lightsaber Variant Rey at a local comic shop. I made the dumb decision to buy it... for $30. :(
The comic store looked to have ordered some of the revision Wave 1 cases, since they also had the FO Stormie and Chewie, two figures I haven't seen on the pegs in ages. I think they buy wholesale product from Entertainment Earth as well, which explains why they have it.

Went to our (local-ish) K-Mart's closeout sale. I saw a bunch of the new Rey exclusive down to ~$18. They had a TON of Jakks figures in various sizes. I want their 15-ish R2-D2 when the price gets a little better.
Aside from that, pricing was pretty meh.

A couple of Targets here have hit 50% off clearance, so I have started grabbing cheap Kylos for some additional Knights of Ren. Also some extra Guavians because I just love those dudes. For $10 a pop I don't feel as guilty about that kind of stuff. :P

Waiting for the eventual clearance paid off! I found two 6" Black Series First Order TIE Fighters in the Target clearance aisle for $50.98 each. OMG were these boxes beat up! But I picked one up, and it was $55 and change after taxes.
Before I went to the store I ran a Brickseek search. Most stores in my area are still pricing the 6" TIE Fighter at $84.98, but stock levels are dwindling quickly at the $50.98 price point. And it came back with both prices and inventory amounts at specific stores. Only 3 out of the 20 stores that came back in my search had the lower price point, and those stores only had 1 - 3 units on hand.
While I know that there's likely to be another price reduction, I didn't want to miss out on this vehicle. And considering the condition of the box I actually cracked it open in the parking lot just to make sure it was okay, and sure enough it was.

I finally found a Cassian Andor figure with good paint apps this morning at Target, so I was happy to pick that up. Had not opened either of the other two I had gotten in hopes of upgrading.
He's not a bad figure, but not one I would have picked to carry forward.

Just recently started hitting up the toy aisles again, took a nice break after Force Friday but was curious to see if any stores were restocking yet or not. Definitely not a whiff of any Death Troopers anywhere.
But one of our local Targets did restock with a fresh case of Wave 1 today, and they even still had the Death Trooper when I got there. Good times.

Two different Targets near me got in fresh cases of the Ahsoka Revision wave, the one with Jango. Interestingly, they rang up under the old 3953 DPCI. But at full price. So now they essentially have two active numbers for the same line.

Managed to find a single TRU exclusive Hovertank Trooper just now. I get the feeling that some more are going to turn up in significant numbers, but these really seem to be scarce right now.

I did pick a brand new 6" Rey & BB-8 (sans lightsaber) today at ROSS for $8.99. That was pretty cool.

So I was looking at the Rey and BB-8 I bought earlier today at Ross and damned if this doesn't look like a legit variant to me.
I have all three previous versions of Rey and BB-8 (original release, retouched version, and the one with the lightsaber) and this one looks distinct from all of them. Not so much Rey, although there are a few subtle differences with her, but definitely BB-8.
This latest one has a much heavier grey wash on his dome, and conversely, none at all on the body. Literally just silver and orange apps on a pure white body. I haven't taken him out of the box yet but it is obvious at even a casual glance. Very interesting.
Maybe these were some leftovers or rejects from a previous factory or something, odd that they would be showing up randomly at ROSS, but a pleasant surprise to me.
I will try to line em all up and take a picture for comparison, if anyone cares.

I'd be curious to see it. I saw what I'd call an intermediate version of these last fall, between the force Friday version and wave 3 repaint. BB-8 had a detailed dome but not detailed body.

Visited a small retailer called "Ryan's Toy Connection" in Bakersfield, CA over the weekend where I picked up part of the Rogue One Black Series Wave 2 assortment, including Krennic and Scarif Stormtrooper. Both are awesome figures and Krennic has to be one of my most favorites in the 6" Black Series line to date. He looks menacing and stunning in his white uniform and cape 8)
For anyone on the west coast traveling through California, Ryan's Toy Connection is worth the stop if you come by on a day when they're open... It is a small store filled floor to ceiling with just about every action figure you can imagine, including a room with hundreds of Star Wars figures and vehicles. I picked up a Kylo Ren and First Order Stormtrooper at 2 different Ross' today. Like the Rey I bought previously, these both have some kind of funky foreign packaging. Lots of Russian and Arabic fine print. They also both have some minor differences in deco - kylo's unpainted lightsaber hilt for example. Interesting, they're not as crude as your typical bootleg figures, but they seem to lack the finer details of the retail versions here.
Gotta love the $8.99 price tag though!

I found a couple cases of the Hovertank Pilot at TRU earlier today, so they're getting out in distribution. They also apparently offer 10% with a TRU Credit Card on Thursdays and Saturdays now.

I found a fresh case of R1 Wave Two 6" figures over lunch today at Target. :)
I only just saw a store report yesterday of this wave popping up there, so the timing couldn't have been much better. They look terrific in hand, especially Krennic, by whom I did not expect to be wowed. Stormtrooper Squad Leader is multiple kinds of awesome.
Looking forward to comparing 3PO's tonight...

Picked up Krennic, the Scarif Stormtrooper Squad Leader and TFA C-3PO today at the one Target I checked. And oddly enough, I found some 6" Black Series First Order Stormtroopers and even an Atsy today while I was searching for the Walgreens C-3PO. No luck with Threepio yet!

I had to call it a day around lunchtime, but I managed to hit up at least seven different Gamestops here with no luck on the Revan wave. I did find the Krennic wave at three different Targets I hit though.
And I found the Hovertank Pilot at TRU again, so that was cool.

Still no luck with the Revan wave, but I scored big on Walmart Scarif Stormtroopers today at lunch! Terrific figure, I don't think he edges out the Hovertank Pilot for sheer awesomeness, but it is close.
The store where I found him had two full cases out on the pegs...which means I've already seen more of this guy than I did the 6" Shocktrooper. Hopefully that bodes well for army builders.

A local TRU had at least six of the Hovertank pilots on the pegs for the $19.99 price, so I picked one up. Have not seen the Wave 2 stuff around my area in central CA at mass retail, but likely it has arrived, been snagged by others, and I've just not come across any of it yet. I did get the Scariff beach trooper and Krennic figures at a specialty retailer a couple weeks ago, but paid a bit more for them. They were too awesome-looking to leave behind.

Found a lone Exclusive 3PO at a Walgreens last night but ended up not buying it; the checkout line was too long because some guy was buying like all of his Thanksgiving groceries and they weren't honoring his coupons or something. I'm banking on these being as plentiful as the Vader ended up being, so I left it there.

Was out on a business trip this morning and decided to hit a few Walmarts and Targets on my way back to see what I could find. At the Walmart in Patterson, CA, I found some Director Krennic and TFA C3PO figures. At the Target in Los Banos, CA, I found some Ashoka Tano and Kannan Jarus figures as well. I did not see any sign of the Walmart exclusive Scariff Storm Trooper or the Scariff Storm Trooper squad leader figures. Nevertheless, I had been looking for all of the figures I found, so it was a really good haul :)

Sorry for the double post, but I went out today to one last Walmart in a neighboring rural community and found 10 of the exclusive Scarif Stormtroopoer figures and took home a couple of them. I've had better luck these past two days checking Walmarts and other stores in more rural, isolated communities than I have in more urban areas. Possibly a good strategy to employ if you are looking for these figures and can't find them in your area.

I'm in California. The Scarif Stormtroopers were found in the small community of Kerman, CA, about 20 miles outside of where I live in Fresno in the central part of the state.

Almost had a heart attack today when I found Sabine and Old Ben in a local Gamestop. No sign of the others. I hit 4 other locations while I was out but nada. Super happy and surprised to have even found these though. Pretty sure Gamestop is one of those places that has to sell through stock before they put out new stuff.

The first store had two Leias. ::)
The second store didn't have anything new out. I asked and the guy said he had two on hold for someone. He opens the drawer and shows me Revan and the Snowtrooper: the exact two I need. I've been going into this guy's store for two weeks looking for these and never once did he mention there was an option of holding these if they came in. There's no separate listing for this SKU on their website and none of the figures are listed out individually so I figured there was no way to put them on reserve. Rats! >:(
At least I got within a few feet of them.

I checked out a nearby Gamestop and actually found a couple of 6" TFA General Hux figures. It's really odd that I saw that wave ONCE at TRU, and it only ever turned up again at Gamestop.

Yeah, all the ones here have the older figures too, they just put the new guys right out beside them. Guy said they were arriving in a big box with other items, only 2 per store. Odd.
My persistence did pay off ultimately though as I found both Revan and the Snowtrooper at a different location after work. Had to look all over, they had 6"'figures in three different locations. Luckily while I was waiting in line to ask the cashier I spied them up near the registers and pounced.
I'd still like another Snowtrooper but I think I need a break from that store for a couple of days.

Thanks to a tip from the JD Twitter, I snagged Old Ben, Leia, and the AT-AT Pilot from Hasbro Toy Shop, and used the HOLIDAYFF2016 code to get a cool 25% off. My buddy grabbed the same plus Sabine. Revan and the Snowtrooper were sold out, so I guess I'll have to scour stores and Amazon for them.

They were actually the 6" ones! Yeah, that was unexpected and cool. None of the other stores on BrickPicker even showed any in stock, much less on sale. It's one of my favorite figures, so I'm happy to keep all of them at that price.
Never did see the smaller version around here.
P-Siddy, I'm starting to wonder if I will ever see that Revan wave in a store again. It's weird, even the Gamestops have quit ordering stuff. It's darn near impossible to tell which Sabine you're getting anyway just from looking at it in the box.

I was at a Walmart in Bakersfield, CA yesterday and saw several dozen 6" figure boxes all up on the top shelf, but oriented so I couldn't see which ones they were (naturally). Being a somewhat short guy, and not wanting to bother store staff with a silly request, I went and got a patio chair from the nearby garden section, which gave me plenty of height to check out the hidden figures... Unfortunately nothing new, just a bunch of the wave with Dir. Krennic and TFA C3PO.

Yeah, no one seems to want any of these figures outside of Revan anymore, which I find bizarre for a wave that barely even hit retail. They generate almost zero interest on the secondary markets.

I've still got the Revan from that wave. I have no idea what to do with him. I think I'm glad to have bought the case as I wanted all the figures from that wave except him and with the stagnant distribution flow at stores now it seems like it was the right call.

I bought 2 unmasked Kylo figures on Amazon for half off. Looking to do some customizing, putting the robes on the Japanese Kylo figures, as well as the heads. So far the soft goods and Adam Driver headsculpts have been rather meh, while the Hasbro one is top notch, which is a rare case.

Revans are being found at Best Buy of all places. The kicker is that Best Buy is splitting up the figures from the wave and sending 2 random figures to every store. I saw the Snowtrooper over the weekend at the store closest to me, but I'm not really up for searching each and every Best Buy in town. Might be worth checking though!

I read about that and checked a local Best Buy store. There was about 16' of shelf space near the DVD/Blu Ray section, and that display had assorted Star Wars and Marvel collectibles, and barely any of it was Hasbro. And the little Hasbro merch I did find was Marvel stuff: 12" Marvel Legends, electronic Iron Man helmets, etc. I saw Star Wars R/C speeder bikes, X-wings and TIE's, but nothing from Hasbro.

My store had that same section, and then another "collectible" section closer to the video games that had the Black Series shelf sticker, and also had a bunch of Funko POP Vinyls, and the other new ripoff lines (Dorbz, the metal figurines, etc)

The SWB 6" Jyn Erso figure is marked down to $4.97 at GameStop. I've grabbed a bunch for trades, customs, etc. I think that's the lowest store price I've seen yet on a BS figure. Not bad at all!

Rumor is it's because Leia, Luke and Obi-Wan are already in production due to the recent Black Series releases, whereas Han and R2 have been out of production for 3-4 years now.

Yeah, don't they all need to run through production to be on the new cards? If anything I would think that you'd short pack the items already in another package versus producing twice as many of them. If they have to produce Han and R2 anyway, I would think shorter runs would hurt the profit per item on these. But of course that argument is all based on logic and common sense.

Luke and Obi-Wan are easily findable for less than retail.
R2-D2 and Han Solo, while out of production for a couple years now, were clearanced out at the time when they were in stores. This may be why they were wary to pack these heavily. But the alternative is to pack another item heavier that is currently clogging distribution. What a mess.
Leia is easily available but this one is slightly different.

Are there full cases of Leias shipping to Target or something? I went to pick up Logan last night and they had 12 Leias in the 40th anniversary endcap. The only other 6 inch figure they had in stock was the AT-ACT Pilot which was in the regular Star Wars aisle. I highly doubt the store got 6 cases of Wave 1 and sold everything BUT Leia considering I see Lukes and Obi-Wans sitting at every other store.

Just managed to snag a Lando and Sand Person on Amazon for $21.99 each. They had the ERG but it wouldn't let me add it to my cart, then when it finally did, it was being sold by a 3rd party.

I managed to get one of the ERG's from Amazon. I just got one in the case I bought, and this one makes two for me. That's the extent of army building in the 6" Black Series!
But I ran into a similar situation to you, Diddly. I've been trying to pick up at extra 6" 40AC Stormtrooper. Amazon will list them, but I haven't been able to get all the way through checkout with that figure before they're gone, and the 3rd party sellers are the only options.

I picked up a Lando at a local Gamestop to trade my buddy for a DSC mentioned above. It was the only Star Wars figure they had in the store (they had 8 Landos total), and even the price sticker just said "Lando" which makes me wonder if they got a solid case in.

One of our local Walmarts dropped the price on the Vader set to $15, so I grabbed an extra. Probably should have bought all of them, but I can always go back I guess. :)

A few of the boxes were as mangled as I've ever seen show up on the pegs. That did not deter me though, opener that I am.
Guessing I may need an extra Guard to pair with the additional gear from the Amazon exclusive. I know there are 5 total pictured, but rumored to be as many as 8 in the film.

I found the 2nd wave of TLJ Black Series 6" figures today. I already had Finn and the Praetorian Guard, so I picked up Leia, Maz and Poe. Glad that Target was running that sale because they saved me $10 today.

I picked up my Guardians of Evil 4-pack pre-order from GameStop yesterday. It would have been nice if they had called me. The guy who helped me said that they were waiting for Snoke and the Battlefront II Imperial Agent to arrive first. But having seen a bunch of stories about how GameStop didn't always hold their pre-orders? I'm glad I just dropped by to check things out.

I'm part of a Star Wars Collecting group on the "Discord" app, and there's a guy who alerts everyone when rare stuff is in stock on any of the major sites. Jaina sold out in like 5 minutes. I'm lucky I was at a PC when I was!
I doubt she'd be carried forward, but stranger things have happened.

I use the Amazon app on my iPhone, and I use wishlists to keep track of some of the new Star Wars items that I'm looking out for. Amazon has had two separate listings for the TBS 6" Jaina Solo for some time, so I kept an eye on both of them. They've even upgraded the Amazon app so that you can now browse items on your wishlist at the bottom of the page as soon as you launch the app.
When Jaina popped up as available for $19.99 earlier this week I jumped on it! The delivery date is a little longer away than I would normally accept for something being offered at that Amazon Prime price point. But considering how I have only seen the other figures in this wave in the wild and not Jaina? I decided to go for what is essentially a pre-order. But this figure is reminding me of the craze to get Darth Revan all over again.

Picked up a Rey with base set from the last K-Mart which is closing down soon. I paid $11.50 which isn't great but they only had 3 left and I don't get to that part of town much. I like the idea of having extra rocks for my display.
Also grabbed another R1 3-pack from Target for $17.98 since these have started to disappear from most of the stores around here.

Found Island Rey and DJ at Walmart over lunch today while running a toy blitzkrieg on $5 SWB 6" figures. Sadly, they both rang up at full price but I didn't have the time or energy to quibble about it. No sign of Rex or even any of the repacks.
Also picked up Maz, Kylo, new Poe, FO Stormy, Praetorian Guard, Finn in FO disguise, Gen Leia, ESB Snowtrooper, 2x AT-AT Drivers, and a couple others I don't remember offhand, all for $5 each. Best deal ever! ;D

The $5 Walmart sales are a joke in my area. I spent an embarrassing amount of time searching a bunch of stores this afternoon and the only figures stores had in stock were Jyn, Cassian, and Zuvio. Dozens and dozens of them. Mind you that 75% of these stores had none of those figures a week ago, and were chock full of Maz, Leia, TLJ Poe, TLJ Finn, and TLJ Kylo. It's like I was time warped back to a year ago.

I went pretty nuts over the weekend with the Walmart thing, bought at least $400 worth of toys for a fraction of that. Interestingly I ended up with doubles of just about everything. New Poe, Kylo, Gen Leia, Finn in Disguise, Praetorian Guards (x3), At-At Driver, Snowtrooper, even found a couple of old Resistance Troopers at one store.

All kinds of things, I'm making a custom Rose in Imperial disguise figure for example. I'm currently army building the Praetorian guards til I have 8 total I can display with Snoke and his throne. I also use them in trades with other collectors, or to help me sell other lots of stuff I have listed online. For $5 a pop I can find a lot of value.

I hit two Walmarts and three Targets early this morning on my way into work and all I could find was one lone Dewback on the top shelf at a Wally. I didn't see any new figures of either scale, no vintage stuff, nothing else at all.
I figured this would be more of a "soft" launch but I didn't think it would be imperceptible. :D
Holding out hope GameStop might come through with Qi'ra or 4-LOM for me, but I'm not too optimistic at this point.

6" Solo Chewie is not a 4/13 product... have heard from a few sources that its going to be closer to May 4th weekend or later (movie release) before he makes it out.

Mission for the day complete: I got a nice new Dewback from Walmart and it looks great. This beast is really fantastic, articulated as a mofo. Hopefully we've covered all the pauldrons now...black, white, orange, grey.
Problem is finding space for this thing on the same shelf as my landspeeder.

I want a Tarkin for my T man focus but man I saw nada of this line but the Kylo centerpiece and Dewback. The Kylo CP is another one that might work as well for 4” as it does 6” when it’s on clearance.

The thing that strikes me odd about this Centerpiece set is that the one figure you need to complete the scene (Poe) wws released 2+ years ago and clearanced out as a Target exclusive. That doesn't work well for those who never got Poe.

I went out of town today for a spring college football game and we hit a local Walmart beforehand to get water. I hit the jackpot, finding the entire 6 inch wave priced at the $5 clearance prices! Of course I grabbed everything.

But then my local Walmart went and dropped the price on their Black Series 6" figs to three cents. THREE CENTS! ($0.03) :o
So yeah I had to clean them out at that price. I already had a bunch of these but who cares. That may be the best deal I've even gotten on any Star Wars toy, or any toy for that matter! :)

I stopped by my local ThinkGeek store today. They had lots of the first wave of Solo figures, along with LOTS of Han's. I saw the reissued Jawa as well as the Death Squad Commander, and the facial printing looked awesome. I wound up getting the SOLO version of Lando.

All the Walmarts around me have raised their prices on 6" figures back up to $17.97 except for one, which I happened to check this morning and lo and behold, they turned out to be the first and only store I've seen yet that has put out this Solo shipper. No Tarkins, but they had nearly two full cases of everyone else from Wave 1. Yep, three cents a piece. :D

Some good stuff (Phasma, Emperor’s Royal Guard, Darth Vader) in there and some not so good stuff (old Lando). Hopefully these don’t jam up the pegs.

Luckily fate has spared us all from the savage rant I was going to post about 4-LOM after just missing him at 3 different Targets in the space of a day, the last time actually seeing another creepy weirdo taking him up to the register, because I finally found the mother ****** today after a fair amount of driving. ;) :D ;D
I don't think I've ever been happier to find a 6" figure on the pegs. I saw multiple Revans and Jainas, but I don't expect to ever see this guy again. Huge relief.

Apparently every Target is getting 1 case, to go along with a big standalone cardboard display that has other stuff on it like the 3.75" figures, Wampa set, etc. I saw this display in the boy's clothes section, in electronics, and right next to the SW aisle, so YMMV.
Basically you better hope you have more Targets in your town than you have people interested in buying 4-LOM, or you are going to be SOL.
Seems like Walmart has no use for this wave, like the Baze/Chirrut wave they never carried. Weird.

I busted open a pile of 6" figures this weekend. Some of these are so, so sweet.
- Dewback with Santrooper - that Dewback is a work of art. Articulated mouth, toes, and tail. Absolutely perfect. $60 well spent.
- Luke with Landspeeder - really solid. Love the floppy hat, but after opening the Dewback this one didn't feel like it was as sweet at $60.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi - the Alec Guinness likeness and the way his softgoods robe hangs around his head couldn't be better.
- Death Squad Commander - nailed it.
- Jawa - Great sculpt, but a little annoying he can't hold his blaster right due to the non-soft goods sculpt

Game Stop is running a 50% off clearance price sale, so I stopped at the local stores. Picked up Snoke w/ throne, General Leia, and Jedi Training Rey for $10 each. Last weekend I found a 40th Ann. Leia for $7 at an out-of-town store. It might be worth a trip to your local store. :)

I saw two 6" Finns and a 6" Chewie (TFA versions) in the Punta Cana airport gift shop when leaving the Dominican Republic today. ::)
Also saw a SW Mighty Muggs commercial down there on TV that I had no idea existed.

I stopped by an area WalMart store looking for the Mimban Stormtrooper. No luck with that. But I did find something notable in this store: no 6" TBS figures in the action figure aisle except for the Dewback with Sandtrooper. There were also NO peg tags whatsoever for 6" TBS figures in that aisle.
So I followed up on a hunch and checked an area by the registers. Sure enough, there's a 20 foot long shelving unit near the self-checkout area that has loads of Magic Cards, Walking Dead figures and I spotted a lone 6" TBS Cassian Andor figure. The shelf tag situation seemed unclear though. Still, I had seen Walking Dead 6" figures on shelving units near the registers at other stores, so the move was not completely unexpected. So has anyone else seen this happening with 6" Black Series figures at other Walmart stores?

I'm not surprised by the 5 Below news, either. I did a couple of toy runs recently and hit some 5 Below stores along the way. And I noticed the Marvel Legends as well as the Mattel 6" DC universe figures at those stores. The price points for those lines and the 6" TBS line are all pretty comparable.

Apparently local Targets have restocked the Gamorrean this week. My buddy reported finding 3 at his closest Target, and I found 3 at mine and was finally able to snag it. Posters on YakFace indicate just as much.

Picked up a second Rebel Fleet Trooper from GameStop this morning. They had to have it shipped store to store from like 50 miles away. That's a nice service.

Zuckuss has hit here at Toys R Us Canada, grabbed one. He's quite well done, quite happy overall. Don't know if anyone was interested in a trade for something that's tougher to come by up here, but my store still has a few left. Posted a thread in the trade section if anyone is perhaps interested.

Picked up another Dewback on clearance at Walmart for $30, along with a 6" Rebel Fleet Trooper.
Then went straight to Target where I found Bespin Leia on the pegs, PLUS I finally got someone to pull a Moloch for me. And even though it was a PITA, I got them to honor the 20% sale for both items. Saved ten bucks. ;D

There were 10 Molochs at Target today when I went to pick up Solo. Also about 5 Enfys Nest speeders. And the Ach To Luke was being clearanced out for $14.98.

Tomorrow is my birthday so I celebrated early by dropping a chunk of change in the Disney Store app this morning.
Got Battle Damaged Phasma, Stormtrooper with Blast Accessories, and the SOLO wind-up fighting droids. Although I didn't need Zuckuss I threw him in as well to get FREE shipping. I'm sure one of my collector friends will take him off my hands.

I was able to get the 3 x 6” TBS exclusives at the Disney Store today. The store I went to had plenty of each (Zuckuss, Phasma & battle damaged Stormtrooper). It was nice to get these relatively quick, and it was definitely easier to get them than the Target and Walmart exclusives.

My friend got me a Zuckuss this morning from the Disney Store. He said all 3 exclusives were behind the register, but they apparently had plenty to go around. I might swing in to grab the Phasma and Stormy at some point in the future, but it's hard for me to get to the closest Disney Store, so I'm fine being patient.

Most of them rang up under the 1922 DPCI, but Han came up under 3953 I believe.

The Edina Target (I mention that for Justin's sake) has a Bespin Han. It comes up not on file. I wasn't in mood to try and get a price. I imagined they'd just say it's $20 like the rest.

Yeah, Ross is the place to shop it seems. I went back to a different store today and picked up the Vader and Luke Centerpiece sets for $10 each. This location had 5 General Leias on the shelf.
They also had the Ski Speeder from TLJ for $6.99 but I didn't feel like shelling out more dough at that point.

Picked up an Archive Boba Fett at Target for a collector buddy tonight. Left the second one since I have the original from 2013 plus the MAFEX version from Japan. I have a feeling I'll regret passing on it though. I'm still on the hunt for a Luke figure with decent paint apps.
Also, the Five Below near my apartment seems to have closed overnight, which is odd. They never had any of the cool Star Wars stuff that people reported finding there, but I am curious about what will happen to the 7 million Jyn and Cassian figures they had?

Marshals seems to be the place for some 6" Black Series Troop building at $6.99 per figure. I've seen reports of First Order Stormtroopers turning up there along with Imperial Snowtroopers and AT-AT Drivers. I picked up a couple of AT-AT Drivers and also saw Lando (Bespin) in the process.

Was surprised to see the last wave on the pegs at Target again today. I picked up two more battle droids and noticed they did not ring up under the 1922 DPCI number anymore, but their own unique code. That’s new. Previously it would show that individual DPCI when you scanned it at the price checker, but not at the actual register. At least around here.
Guess they figured out where all these Jyns and Cassians were coming from!

I picked up another 6" Range Trooper at Walmart yesterday. All of the 6" TBS figures were marked down to $14.97, so I took the plunge. I was also surprised to see that figures like Beckett and Rio Durant since some people in some of the Black Series facebook groups are trying hard to find them.

Found evil 3PO (0-0-0?) at GameStop last night. Picked it up and held it for a few minutes and then decided to put it back. I don't think ive ever done that before with a brand new figure. Guess it's a combination of not wanting to pay the $3 GameStop markup and not really caring about the character at all. I may end up getting him later, but I wasn't feeling it yesterday.

I saw GameStop is running a BOGOHO sale on action figures, and I actually managed to find a store with 2 new figures still in stock, so I picked up Ezra and 0-0-0. Will probably return the droid and just keep the cheap Ezra, which is all I really wanted. Weird that Choppers release date keeps getting pushed back on their website.

I had preordered the Chopper and Ezra figures from Entertainment Earth which were then backordered for a while. On Wednesday, I got a message from EE saying that the order was cancelled as the manufacturer had unexpectedly run out of stock of those figures for some reason. Frustrated a little, I ordered an Ezra and Chopper figure off eBay, where there seemed to be plenty of the figures for under $25 (which I consider reasonable). Then while on a work-related road trip on Thursday, I made a quick stop by a Target store and found two Chopper figures!

I found the complete Wave 2 of the Black Series Archive figures at a local Walmart yesterday for the standard $20 price. I had already ordered and received this wave from Entertainment Earth a month ago, but picked up an extra Darth Maul and Anakin figure to open... I remember passing up the original Darth Maul figure back in 2013 for some reason and never found the original Anakin figure, so it was nice to finally add those to my collection :)

Finally made it an Ollie's. And boy, I was SO EXCITED to get Black Series SOLO Han Solo and TLJ Poe Dameron for $5.99 each. And no TVC figures either. UGH, what a wasted trip

Man, if there's any more of a running start kick to the nuts than a goddamn street date I don't know what it is.
I figured my only chance to score a full case of these was to find a store that put them out early, so I went out searching high and low and finally found a full bounty of all the new stuff at Walmart. They even had the TVC and gold figures out. (No display, just on the regular toy aisle)
None of them scanned at the Price Checker, and this store didn't even have any other Black Series figures to scan for comparison, so I figured it would be an ordeal trying to check out. Yep.
They wouldn't come up at all at first, then a manager came over and scanned them and found the price ($19.87) and said "try it now" to the cashier. At that point they rang up as sale not allowed, so they literally took them out of my hands and walked them back to the storeroom where they will never be heard from again I am certain. I tried all the usual points of logic to no avail.
What a genius marketing idea this TFF is...you managed to save this store $160 in instant sales. ::)
The worst part is that this virtually guarantees that I won't be able to find them all again come Friday. Because that is my luck.

Ended up grabbing The Mandalorian off of Amazon, my lone Triple Force Friday purchase. Also got a Hoth Leia for $15 while there. Debated grabbing Skiff Lando but I'll hold off for a bit on that one.

I had a successful morning in terms of finding the new Black Series figures today. Between Walmart and Target, I got the complete set of the white-boxed first edition figures and the carbonite Mandalorian. A couple more stores to run by, then I think I’ll call it a day :)

I wasn't able to get to any stores at opening - the downside of being at work at 5 AM - so what was left was roleplay and GoA figures. The situation can only get better.

It’s been an eventful 24 hours for me, for sure.
After spending an hour at Walmart last night fruitlessly waiting in vain for them to put out new stock, I finally slogged home empty-handed and fell asleep at 1:30am.
Woke up at 5:30am thinking it would be smart to hit the non-24 hour Walmart’s in town which all open at 6am. Confirmed they all had stock via Brickseek. Proceeded to drive all around and none of the stores has put anything out yet. Total fail at that point.
Had better luck at Target at 8am, got the Carbonized Mandalorian, but all they had were the black boxed 6” figures, so I just grabbed extras of the Sith Trooper, Jawa and FO Stormtrooper. Next Target I figured out their was a whole standalone SW display away from the designated endcap, and I was able to score 5/8 First Edition figures.
Proceeded to drive to five more Targets trying to find the other two, but all I kept seeing were black boxes. Finally at the last store I found a bevy of First Edition figures and was able to get the three last ones I needed, hallelujah. :)
I was also able to snag a Carbonized Second Sister from GameStop ($26.99!) and confirmed that no stores in my area had Fox. :( then after work I stopped back by a Walmart again and was able to score the Carbonized Jet Trooper at last.
Was an obscene amount of driving but screw it, I took a half day off work and managed to get everything I needed, so I can’t really complain at all. Feeling pretty happy right now with the results!

Super happy to pick up Commander Fox at GameStop this morning. Glad I decided to check back after being told there were none around yesterday.
Interestingly, this guy was only $22.99, same as the other black boxed 6” figures.

Hit an area Barnes & Noble today. With my membership card there Black Series figures were $17.99 each, so I picked up Rey and Kal Cestis. I was tempted to pick up the Poe Dameron X-wing with that 10% off discount, but I'm trying to see if Target might have one of their $25 off $100 sales.
I also saw a fair amount of Black Series figures at another GameStop location, including the exclusive Carbonized figure. Didn't see Commander Fox. And the store associate told me that the Purge Trooper has not shown up at their store yet. But they also had the battle damaged Stormtrooper and Zuckuss which had both been exclusive to Disney stores.
The crazy thing is that I've seen way more Black Series in stock at GameStop and B&N than at either Target or Walmart.

I snagged First Edition Rey and Kylo from a small town Walmart over the weekend during a road trip. This store also had First Edition Stormtrooper and Offworld Jawa but I passed for now because the thought of spending $80 on toys was terrifying at the time. If they are still there in a few weeks when I'm back I'll likely grab them. Those 4 figures were the only Star Wars merch the Walmart had in stock.

Grabbed the Spirit Yoda and Jedi Luke Skywalker from a Walmart this morning. Yesterday, I made the decision to finally start to be a 6" collector and work to fill in the Black Series Phase III gaps I have, there will be some painful items, but I have been collecting the TFA, TLJ, Rebels and Solo 6" items this whole time, so it really comes down to OT, PT & Rogue One 6" items that I don't have - so I picked up Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor & Director Krennic at Five Below.

Finally got my Skywalker Strikes Luke from Hasbro Pulse, loving the accessories. I think I may just display those and leave him in the box since I recently put regular Yavin Luke on my already overcrowded ANH shelf.
Still no sign of the Walmart exclusives here. A nearby store shows them In Stock on Brickseek but they are nowhere to be found in the store. I actually did come across the cardboard display today and it was just stocked with Pops.

Had business across town this morning so I took the opportunity to hit up a distant Walmart and was happy to find both ROTJ Luke and Spirit Yoda!
Stopped in a few GameStops looking for the Purge Trooper but every single one I went to claimed the figure was only available as part of the game bundle, which I know for a fact is not true. Maybe I’ll have better luck tomorrow on the actual release date.

Road tripped to my college football team's last home game of the season over the weekend and stopped at a small town Walmart and got a First Edition Offworld Jawa. They had previously had a First Edition FO Stormtrooper but someone snagged it in the last few weeks. Kind of a bummer, but this Walmart wound up giving me First Edition Kylo, Rey, and the Jawa so that works for me.
They had put out a small selection of the latest wave too with Wedge and Luke and company. I snagged the Cara Dune and left the rest.

Swung by Wal-Mart (seems like I only go when there is an exclusive), and although their regular toy aisle was a bit of a mess (several Skiffs and Jabba Palace sets though), I decided to walk past electronics since I heard some things were being found there. Lo and behold, a whole shipper display full of Star Wars. There were several Black Series Jedi Lukes, Spirit Yodas, TVC Yavin Lukes, and other stuff. They had some neat Cereal Box/T-Shirt sets from Funko, the gold figures, some lunch box style boxes, and more. I grabbed a Luke and Yoda, so relieved to find them. Still kind of crazy to me that Jedi Luke has to be an exclusive in this line, and not a wide release. Looks great though.

I stopped by my local GameStop looking for the Purge Trooper. Nothing on the pegs, but I decided to ask the manager who was working the counter. He checked in the back of the store and came out with a Purge Trooper that someone had on hold but never turned up to get it. Glad I didn’t have to buy a game that I don’t even have a console for in order to get this one.

I just got mine from Pulse today too.
At first I was surprised that Bly only came with one large gun, but then later realized he has two pistols that both came holstered. I'm not sure that I've ever seen Hasbro pre-holster any weapon before.

I did pick up a lone Hoth Rebel Soldier who was sitting all by himself on the pegs for some reason. They probably found him hidden somewhere I am guessing. Up to three on that guy now, should probably stop there. :)

I’m still waiting on my Commander Bly preorder. But isn’t it peculiar that the paint apps on this figure are the source of a variation? Because I remember a similar thing happened with Bly back in 2005 with the ROTS 3.75” figure line. Did Hasbro do this deliberately this time?

I have been wanting a complete set of the figures from the Solo movie to open, so I recently made a run on them via Amazon - scored Han, Chewie (Vandor-1), Lando, L3-37, Val (Vandor-1), Tobias Beckett, Qi'ra (Corellia), Rio Durant, Enfys Nest w/Swoop, Imperial Range Trooper, Imperial Scout Trooper & Dryden Vos - all for around $160 total (MSRP is $280).
What kicked it all off was buying Moloch for $12 at my local Target when I was out looking for some openers of the 40th Anniversary ESB Black Series figures.
So now all I need is Mudtrooper Han and the Mimban Stormtrooper and I'll have a complete set both open and MIB.
If you have a chance to score Enfys Nest w/her Swoop Bike at a discounted price, jump on it, the vehicle is VERY impressive. I thought the 6" Rey Speeder was amazing, this beats it hands-down.

No, it was just those two, but this was on Saturday which I believe was Pro Day so maybe that’s how I got Free Shipping? Normally I don’t.
On a surprising note, I completely lucked out today and found a mint carded R2 40th Anniversary figure at Target! This was the last figure I needed from the wave and was getting worried after reading about the crushed bubble issues. This one was as nice as could be though, so thankful and relieved.
And to top it off I just got an email from Best Buy letting me know my Carbonized Stormtrooper is ready for pick-up! Yay!

Saw the new AOTC wave was hitting GameStops around the country, so I stopped in first thing today when they opened. Guy was nice enough to provide a list of stores showing them In Stock so I drove to the closest one but they were all being held for preorders. :'(
On my way home though I stopped by an out of the way Walgreens and lo and behold, Commander Bly was there! Best consolation prize ever!

Holy cow, I hit the mother lode at GameStop today! I saw all the new Rebels figures (except Zeb), the whole Plo Koon wave, the Shadow Stormtrooper, Stormtrooper Commander, and even the Carbonized Stormtrooper! It’s like everything just hit at once.
I tried to rein in my enthusiasm as much as I could, but I ended up getting Light Boots Obi-Wan (to go with the dark boot version I got from HTS) and what I think are both versions of Kit Fisto. I’m not so sure about that one though, the facial paints apps are a pretty subtle difference IMO. Date stamp on the boxes is the same too.

My amazing run of luck continued today when I walked into Target and found a full fresh case of the Teebo/Ackbar wave on the pegs. Just beautiful.
Sadly my luck outlasted my discretionary funds, so I had to limit myself to just one. Mandalorian in Beskar armor was the clear choice. I only saw the last one twice in my whole life so I wasn’t taking any chances with him. :)
Wow though, this glut of product lately is just unprecedented. That Bly wave had barely even begun to hit before we got the Rebels wave, the Walmart exclusive wave preorders, the Target exclusives preorders, the third wave of 40th anniversary figures, the Plo Koon wave and now this Mando wave. I’m impressed with anyone that can keep up with that kind of onslaught...

I think they allow each store manager to alter the price on these. When I found that wave they were all $23...EXCEPT the Battle Droid, which was $30. Asking $5 more than the Heavy Battle Droid is just silly. I asked the cashier about it and he said they get revised pricing on various things daily.

That makes sense. I figure this is Gamestop corporate trying to squeeze some money out of people due to their financial situation. I got Ahsoka and Carbonized Boba Fett in the mail from GameStop yesterday. Both shipped separately and arrived in pristine condition I was happy to find. Really like the Boba and his silvery jumpsuit.
Was able to eventually score a Captain Cardinal also after a lot of running around at Targets this morning. That’s the only one I really wanted, so happy to have that accomplished.

I had a great experience this morning which sadly seems more and more unlikely to happen again: walking into a store right as they were putting a fresh case on the pegs. Walmart had the whole Mando wave, right out of the box, imagine my delight.
The only one I really needed was Vader, so some lucky collector or kid is going to be happy after me. :)

I'll skip some con stuff or sell off basic release. Easy to skip most of Holiday stuff. I've skipped most of the non 40th real likeness updates. It's the people that feel obligated to have it all that this has to get to. I used to be them. I'm glad my days of feeling that way have passed. And aren't the people that are most angry with this the reason they can keep doing it?

I feel the same way about the updates. I don't feel like dropping another $20 on a figure I already own and the updates don't do anything more for me, so I pass. It's nice to have that freedom to just pass it by if I see it on the pegs.

I stopped being a carded and loose collector long ago, and stopped being a completist a couple years ago, but this can be a grey area.
Some easy passes for me have been skipping all the new face paint versions, Credit Collection, and most carbonized figures.
Some are more difficult - I'm still a little torn on the new ROTJ Boba Fett coming out. I know he is slightly different than the ESB one I've already got, and comes with some new accessories., but I don't think I'm going to get him. A different belt and accessories I'm not likely to display probably aren't enough for me to get him.

I stopped being a carded and loose collector long ago, and stopped being a completist a couple years ago, but this can be a grey area.
This. I'm opening just about all of my 6" stuff, so the packaging variations are an easy skip for me. I'm not sure where I have room to display them loose, let alone boxed. I am keeping the vintage carded ones on the card for now, so that's added expense for sure.

I’m pretty much going nuts the past few weeks with the relentless onslaught of new stuff. I don’t mind all the weird variants and repacks, but they have got to start spacing stuff out more. It’s just overkill right now. You have to be really committed to keep up with everything.

I’ve actually been buying more of the variants/repaints due to the pandemic forcing Hasbro to sell them all online. If this were like the Carbonite Mandalorian at Target where you have to resort to paying $60+ on eBay, I wouldn’t care.
That said, I also buy 6 inch figures from Japan, so any army builders are duplicated there instead of buying multiple Hasbro figures.

After a long string of positive shipping experiences, I guess I was due for the other kind. Credit Collection IG-11 showed up today on an extremeLy jacked up card, all bent and twisted. Box looked fine and it had plenty of air pillows inside, so I have to think they shipped it this way in the first place. Pretty weak sauce.
Luckily he is still in stock so hoping they can just replace it but still an annoying hassle.

I was shocked to find the new Black Series Stormtrooper in a WalMart store the other day! Of all of the figures in the wave this was the only one left behind. I get the feeling that someone might have stashed it somewhere and an employee found it and put it back on the pegs. But I have to say, this Stormtrooper looks amazing!

Well, the new Walmart Clone Wars wave has finally hit here! I picked up all three army builders this morning and stashed an Ahsoka for later. No sign of the shipper at all, they were just on an endcap. After all the escalating hype this week, super happy and relieved to have found these so easily, at my closest store no less.
Still have them all on preorder but who knows what’s going on with that.
All of these new figures are amazing BTW!

I got the Target exclusive Commander Pyre figure today in the mail. I didn't realize that this was falling under the Galaxy's Edge umbrella. I don't recall seeing him when I was at Disney, but I could have missed him.
I do think its interesting that this isn't a "Resistance" figure, but a Galaxy's Edge figure. We got a few Resistance 3.75" figures but I guess this is the first 6" one. I would have preferred something more interesting like Bucket, or Yeager, but I guess this was an easy repaint with minimal effort.

Picked up my Holiday Range Trooper from Target, a random Mando Super Commando I found on the pegs, and ALL of the Cad Bane wave at Walmart! (Well, took trips to two different Walmart’s but I was able to find all 8j
I was planning to just order that whole wave online but this worked out even better as I had birthday money to burn. :) Plus they were only $17.88 each for some reason.

I periodically watch Ebay and the Black Series Collectors Facebook Group. I've been looking a long time for Qui-Gon and Purge Trooper as the only two holding me back from a complete set. Knocked off Qui-Gon a month or two ago loose for $45. I've tried to get the Purge a half dozen times, but am usually too late to the party. Locked one in a few months back, but that guy never delivered, so its been a love/hate relationship with that figure. Finally found someone with good references/communication skills selling one for $60 shipped, so I locked it down. WAy more than I ever wanted to spend, but worth it to not have to look for it anymore. There's (of course) a guy selling one loose for $50 shipped right now if you're interested.

I was shocked to stumble across not one, not two, but THREE original BS Mandos (#94) at GameStop today! Not sure if these were warehouse finds or what but they did look a little dusty. I have the Carbonized version, and the Special Edition White Box version, but I don’t want to open those, so I was really happy to find one I could break out and display. He was $25 for some reason but with their current 20% off sale it came out to regular price.
I also picked up a Cal Kestis for $13 since that’s another one I only had the White Box version of. Now I just need the Seventh Sister or whatever and I’ll have spares of that whole wave.

Gamestop has been money lately. I stopped in last night to get my pre-paid/pre-ordered Nihilus. I had a coupon for a free action figure (they have buy 5 get one free going for rewards members), but also had a bunch of $5 coupons stacked up. The only thing of interest was another Phase 2 clone, but wasn't sure I wanted to waste the free figure coupon on a dupe, especially when they're already 20% off.
Instead, the lady automatically gave me a credit for 20% off the Nihilus. She used the the 3 coupons on it as well, then rang up the 20% off clone. My total with Tax was $28 and I had already paid $26.50 for the pre-order, so all they charged me was $1.50 for the clone and I still have a free figure coupon to use by end of the year. Boom!

I was getting concerned that I wouldn't be able to find the Deluxe Boba Fett (ROTJ) since the pre-orders had sold out at both Hasbro Pulse and Amazon. I just happened to check Best Buy and they have the Deluxe Boba Fett available, and I was even able to use some rewards points to save $10 on this one. If you're still looking for this one Best Buy might be a good option.
I was also able to order Moff Gideon and Greef Karga from Amazon. But not Kuiil.

This morning the Amazon Credit Collection Death Trooper showed up, followed by the Mando Loyalist later this evening.
And at lunch I was able to pick up the Walmart Holiday Trooper, so my collection of those is complete now. :)

How does the retail landscape look to all of you?
I've been surprised that for months now there have been virtually no 6" or 3.75" figures on the pegs at any of the Targets around me. There are a few carded 40th anniversary ESB 6" figures that can get hang around a bit, but that is it.
I haven't stopped in to a Wal-Mart in ages so I don't know what is going on there. Walgreens always seems to have the same couple of dusty figures on their shelves.
Are you seeing the same situation that new cases sell out very quickly with very little staying on the shelf for long? On one hand I like seeing the popularity of Star Wars rebounding, but I'm also not sure if supply is severely constrained or Hasbro is making a lot less.

Retail has been awful in 2020. I mean it was awful before Covid, but the pandemic seems to have furthered the decline. Keep in mind I only really look at the Star Wars and Marvel sections, so I can't vouch for any other toy lines, outside of never seeing any Power Rangers or GI Joe 6 inch figures anywhere.
Target - Mostly empty pegs. Some stores got some of the Galaxy's Edge figures, most did not. On last check, the only figures available to purchase were the Dagobah Luke/Yoda 40AC 2 pack, which randomly started hitting here in huge numbers after Thanksgiving. Black Series red/black numbered line was clearanced out a while back, and the dozens of Holdos, Yavin Lukes, and Zorri Blisses were sold off for $6. Haven't seen any of the new look Black Series figures yet. Only one Target in a 50 mile radius (according to the Target app) got in the exclusive retro Marvel figures.
Walmart - Haven't been inside one in months, but the majority of my local stores have only sold lightsabers since roughly 2015. I did see both variants of the Black Series Baby Yoda over the summer, but that's it.
Gamestop - I've seen SOME hard to find figures such as the final red/black AOTC wave, but it's mostly just 40AC ESB figures.
Occasionally I will wander in to a Best Buy as well, and they're the only store I've seen any 3.75 inch figures at since TVC Snokes were clearanced out in 2018. Not many 6 inch figures, though I've gotten a few Marvel figures for half price over the last 2 years or so.
Thank goodness for Jayson and the Reddit mods for pointing out when stuff goes in stock online!

Gamestop seems to have the best selection of 6" Black Series around me. Walmart and Target are usually a waste of time, so I rarely go anymore. TVC has been all online for me lately, or getting local from buddies.

My shopping had been shifting largely to online purchases before the pandemic. Now it's an even more valuable resource. It seems like a lot more people have made a similar shift, because I have been stunned by how quickly presales are now selling out!
The big box stores are just so hit or miss near me. We've got such a concentration of collectors in the area that it's difficult to get anything when it's really new. Unless you can be at a store opening first thing in the morning you're not likely to find something for a few weeks. Even the inventory checkers can't keep up with how quickly stock will come in and then be gone with either The Vintage Collection or The Black Series. There are pro's and con's to how Target is managing their inventory - PRO: they don't wind up with a ton of pegwarmers; CON: they're so ruthless with their inventory management that it would be unusual for more than one or two cases of TVC figures to get stocked at any one time.
GameStop has been okay around here. We also have about 9 of their stores (plus a ThinkGeek location) located within about 15 minutes of our house. It's a bit more collector friendly. The problem is that GameStop knows this! And their TBS prices are higher. I'm still seriously disappointed with how The Vintage Collection performed at GameStop, and that we're still seeing 2018 figures on clearance there. That initial TVC wave was just so poorly marketed. Hasbro has got to get it together with these new line launches and have multiple waves ready to go at launch to avoid these first wave logjams. But back to GameStop? I signed up for their loyalty program, because I get a $5 coupon every month and you can build up rewards points to redeem for other purchases. That's actually helped with the higher prices.
Best Buy has been pleasantly surprising. Because stock seems to rotate and current waves are showing up there, including TVC. I've been shocked to find TVC vehicles and playsets in stock in Best Buy stores. Rewards points come in handy here, too.
Disney stores have been hit or miss. I remember finding LOADS of the 3.75" Black Series at those stores back around 2013/2014! They also had the TFA and TLJ movies lines, but not to the degree that they seemed overwhelmed with them. TVC has had less of a presence there, though. In fact, the last time I can recall seeing non-Disney 3.75" figures in a Disney store was with the SOLO line, and that wasn't very plentiful. Black Series figures seem to come and go in stock, but it's difficult to judge when they're going to have them. The Disney Store outlets have proven to be a nice resource, but like I mentioned above, I'm not going out to stores all that much during the pandemic.
The one X factor that I've got in my area is Toys R Us. I think there are all of 3 locations in the US, so I know that this is a bit of an outlier. But it was so nice being able to find the TVC wave with Chirrut, Fives, Hondo and Jedi Luke all hanging on pegs. The amount of shelf space is a shadow of what old TRU Star Wars sections were, but I'll take this.

For weeks now, two Walmart’s near me have been showing 6+ Clone Troopers (332nd) in stock, but every time I went by either store they were nowhere to be found, so I finally gave up and figured they were just sitting in a stockroom somewhere buried under other stuff.
Evidently one of the stores found the shipper and put it out, because I saw the counts go down to 3-4 last night so I booked over there first thing this morning and finally found the big shipper waaaaay in the back, past electronics and near dog food. It was set up in the middle of an aisle with a bunch of other random shippers.
This probably worked to my advantage because if they had just put them in the toy section they would have been devoured instantly I am sure. When I got there they still had a few Ahsokas, Clones, and one Super Commando. Was really a beautiful sight! I got the extra Clone Trooper I have been looking for so now I am completely done with this wave. ;D
Just have to go cancel my original Walmart preorder now, which has been in limbo for months.
On the retail question, the one big change I have noticed is a **** ton more competition out there now. It used to be just a small handful of guys around here and it was never too hard to find what you wanted if you were on the ball with the apps and whatnot. Now it is just crazy. People stalking parking lots prior to stores opening, haranguing employees to bring stuff out early, etc. it is really a blink or you miss it proposition now. I have been really lucky to find pretty much everything to this point, but it takes a loot more time and energy than it used to, that’s for sure.

Picked up a spare Grogu at Walmart this morning for $5. Not sure if that is a rollback or clearance price, but I wanted another one anyway so well worth it to me. No sign of any of the new wave figures, just the usual remnants of the Cad Bane wave.

Picked up Jar Jar today at Target along with the Han Solo Archive figure (dark brown coat). Took a little help from a friendly store employee but well worth the effort. ;D
I was also able to pick up Moff Gideon and Kuill at two different Targets right before New Years, so super relieved to have closed that wave out. Although now I hear there is a Dark Rey variant so maybe not...

Pulse and Amazon shipped me Jar Jar, Greef Karga, Kuiil, Moff Gideon, and Kamino Clone Trooper.
All really good figures, but the coloring/wash on Jar Jar is absolutely fantastic. While he's not my favorite character, he looks really good.

Went to Target to get ice and spotted the entire Archive wave. Tried to buy them all but was denied because of the street date. Self checkout manager was really rude about it, trying to imply that I snuck into the back and stole them. Whatever. Literally the first new Star Wars merchandise this Target has had in ages, and they won’t sell it. Guess that cements that I need to buy everything online from now on.

Scored (finally) my MIB versions of the Mandalorian Loyalist, Mandalorian Super Commando, and an opener of Ahsoka's 332nd Clone Trooper - all thanks to WalMart putting them back up for sale. They arrived in a shipping box, so unlike my first shipment that were each individually bagged, these all came through in great shape.
I opened up the three banged-up/crushed ones as well today - wasn't originally intending on having these opened, but the two Mandos will look nice in an ever-growing collection of 6" Mandalorian armored warriors. The Loyalist can technically count as a Mandalorian figure (even though it's packaged as part of the Clone Wars sub-line) thanks to that Clone Wars era flashback during the 1st Season of The Mandalorian.

I checked out a Hasbro Q&A yesterday with some sites like SWNN, BanthaSkull, JediBusiness and others. Patrick mentioned in the case of some of the new exclusives, notably the Walmart exclusive TVC wave, that they were doing solid case packs of those figures. I guess maybe they're doing the same for the Kenner deco Black Series, too.

I had the rerelease of Commander Gree on preorder for... who knows how long at this point, from BBTS. The preorder was processed last week, and the Gree figure arrived yesterday.
Now I just need to snag the handful of figures I missed originally, then I can be done with the red/black Black Series line.

Received my Deluxe Boba Fett I had preordered from GameStop.com. Arrived in good shape but he definitely has the squished helmet I keep reading about in the various forums. Oh well, probably wasn’t going to open him anyway.

Picked up a Deluxe Fett over the weekend and in package he definitely has a squashed helmet. But once you take it out, it returns to its shape. The helmet is thin due to it being designed to be removable. Of course it’s glued to the unpainted head underneath, but you can see where they will eventually go.
And as far as I can tell, this is an all new sculpt which was quite a surprise.

Yep, this particular Target is one of the "unfriendly to collectors" Targets, and refused to sell me the Archive wave a few weeks back when I tried to buy them. All of the archive figures are street dated April 1, for whatever reason. Guess it depends on the Target, or a lot of luck.

Good luck to anyone who ordered those Best Buy figures. My four showed up yesterday in four different packages: two were boxed and two were in “padded” envelopes. The ones in the box had air pillows and arrived in perfect condition, the other two were predictably jacked up. Battle Droid has a big crack in the bubble. >:(
I hope I see these in stores one day so I can exchange that one. No point in me reordering it from their website since there’s no way to guarantee they won’t send it the same way again. :(

Just picked up the whole new Asajj wave at Walmart thanks to a freshly stocked sidekick. Counts started to spike at a few stores Friday night evening but no one actually put anything out yesterday. Got up early to hit a few stores at opening and my effort paid off at the second store I hit.
Very happy to have gotten these all in one fell swoop without a bunch of extra driving around, and at the very nice price of 17.88 per figure too.

I got my deluxe ROTJ Boba Fett a couple of days ago. Wow! The details on this figure are just amazing. I’m just wondering what the criteria is for determining which figures are Deluxe figures and which ones are mainline releases. The accessories with Boba Fett are great, but are they worthy of a deluxe figure release? The one accessory that wasn’t included that would have cemented Boba Fett’s status as a deluxe figure for me would have been a flight stand or rocket packet exhaust stand (think the 2006 TSC Boba Fett).

I picked up the whole new archive wave with the Shoretrooper, etc. at Walmart yesterday. They had four cases of that wave! I can’t remember the last time I saw a store get four cases of anything.
I still need most of the figures from the last archive wave, those have been hard to track down here.

I stopped into two Best Buys over the last few weeks and haven't even seen a collectible section anymore. Is anyone else's Best Buy like this? They have TVs and Appliances and some phone stuff, but it's mostly just a place to pick up orders now. Really disappointing - I didn't stop there a lot, but without cool gadgets or movies or collectibles, I have no reason to ever set foot in a Best Buy again.

I preordered the new 5 figures from Dorkside. They do take longer to receive shipments, but they usually have everything in stock and take a while to pre-sell out, so for me it saves time.

I’m in a small town to get my Covid vaccine and decided to stop into the local Walmart. They had stuff in stock! Just the new Mando figures, Greef, Kuiil, and Gideon, but it’s more than what we have in the big city.
They did also have an Admiral Ackbar which I grabbed because I haven’t gotten that one yet.

Yeah, thanks for the tip about Target, I was scratching my head over the random $3 price increase everywhere else. Unfortunately by the time I got around to ordering Koska was already sold out, but I managed to pick up the other four without any problems.

I just saw that EE has pre-orders for Hasbro created Falcon and Winter Soldier figures from last Friday's episode that are for June delivery.

I got charged for two of the Gaming Greats by GameStop - the Imperial Flame Trooper and the Nightbrother Warrior. But it seems like only the Flame Trooper has shipped.

I received the Darth Maul comic pack from Hasbro Pulse yesterday. It looks really cool, and I was surprised to see the clear plastic given the overall presentation. I would have thought it would be like the Skywalker Strikes release.

Took the afternoon off just to do some toy runs for old time’s sake and I was well rewarded. Two different Walmart’s here got the new 6” wave in overnight (after weeks and weeks of nothing anywhere) and I was finally able to pick up Koska Reeves and Aurra Sing to complete the wave. Was really starting to wonder if I would ever see those two on the pegs. Man it was a great feeling. :)

I was shocked to see some new TBS figures in stock at a local store this morning. It was the General Lando / Koska Reeves wave. I left them there since I still have a Target preorder with the entire wave, and since I used my Red Card that 5% off wasn't so insignificant. So I'll wait.
Downside? As I was pulling out of the parking lot I saw a buyer for a particularly wretched online store pulling in. So much for trying to leave some for other collectors.

Stopped by my local comic store yesterday and was shocked to see an original Purge Trooper on the shelf for only $24.95. I never ever saw one of these other than the one I got at GameStop when it first came out where they literally had to call the guy that had preordered it and see if he still wanted it or not. (Luckily he never picked up)
Anyway I went ahead and bought it just because it seems like a cool figure and I always wanted one to open. Yay!

Kinda funny - my invoice from Target uses all the figure code names and not their real product names - e.g. Arkansas, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Delaware vs. General Lando, Tech, etc.

I swung by a GameStop just for kicks today and was shocked to see Jedi Knight Revan on the pegs! The girl at the counter said they had just gotten him in the mail. I have one boxed but I always kind of wanted an extra one to open and I don’t think I ever saw one outside of the one I ordered online. So I was more than happy to plunk down the money now. :)

Since the Rancor didn’t happen I used some of that money to finally buy the SDCC Boba in Kenner colors, which was the very last Black Series figure missing from my collection. Was kinda hoping the price would come back down a bit over time like the X-Wing Pilot Luke figure, but at this point I am happy to just be done with it. He arrived today, very very happy. ;D

I've been in Orlando for work for the last week and a half, and finally had a chance to check out Disney Springs. Nothing good in the Star Wars stores there unless you need a million General Lando figures. Only Galaxy's Edge set they had for sale was the one with 3PO/Rex/R2. All told, not really worth sitting in an hour of traffic and fighting the huge crowds for another hour.
They did have a ton of POTF2 Greedos, and I almost bought one until I noticed there was no price tag. I didn't want to know how much they were charging over MSRP.

I had Baze Malbus delivered from Amazon a few days ago. I preordered the entire Rogue One crew when they went up for preorder. You would expect that maybe they would ship all at once, but it’s all been in dribs and drabs. I even wound up canceling the Bodhi Rook I ordered because I found that figure in a GameStop store. I’m waiting for Cassian Andor now.

Pre-ordered the new Archive series wave from GameStop along with the Omega wave and cancelled my order for the latter on Pulse. Also canceled my Pulse pre-orders for the Dark Trooper and Black Krrsantan and placed them via GameStop instead. They have a pretty good sale going with Free Shipping on a lot of stuff too, so I probably saved $20-30 easy. Might be worth the trouble if you have a lot of stuff on PO…

If you look at the Leias side by side, you will come to the conclusion that the new photo real version is absolutely worth it. So don't look if you don't want to get it. ;)

Well, I bit the bullet on a couple of missing grails from this line recently. I have a mostly complete 6" Black Series collection, along with a bunch of variations and extra troop builders. I even collect the different product code variations between standard issue release and multi-pack or archive figures. But when I started this line I didn't intend to get everything. I skipped out on both the EE 4-pack of Phase II clones (figured they would eventually come out in individual boxes and/or I didn't need all the skittles colors) and the Emperor with Throne (picked up the regular release and didn't think I'd care so much about the extra heads and throne). In the last week I picked up both via Best Offer on Ebay for fairly good prices. Both are really cool sets and I'm excited to finally have them despite the inflated prices. Reworking my 6" shelves a bit to work them in.

My only TBS purchase in a store recently? I found the Imperial Senate Guard at an area GameStop store. I used some of my GameStop rewards and thankfully it was only about $18. And I was actually able to track it down to a specific store using the GameStop app. It's nice to take some of the guess work out of this.

Not a purchase, but an online retail find - Black Series Galen Erso and Antoc Merrick at Star Action Figures in the UK. They're on deep discount, to the point where the figure cost less than the shipping to the U.S.! But seeing how EE has these two Black Series figures listed as being available from their booth at SDCC it leaves me wondering if they will be carrying these in the U.S., or if Target will finally be fulfilling the preorders they took over 13 months ago.

The new 6” wave showed up at one of the Targets here yesterday. My friend got a few of them but by the time I got there only 1 Vader was left. I was really happy to find him though, he was the only figure from that wave I didn’t already have on preorder.
I also found 3/4 new Archive figures at the local Walmart on the same trip. Ironically, Lando was the first to sell out. (they had 2 cases too)
Felt awesome to find something I wanted in an actual store for a change!

Picked up a Saw Gerrera at Target tonight. Apparently these have been out locally for a few weeks, but my Amazon pre-order still says delivery in February 2023, which I quickly cancelled after grabbing one off the Target pegs.
I think this is the first Star Wars toy I've bought in the store in a couple of years. It felt kind of old timey and nice.

I’m not really a 6” collector, but after seeing Saw and Teeka at Target today I was tempered to pick them up. This line always looks good, I just never wanted to dive in at another scale so close to 3 3/4” and rebuy a bunch of figure I already had. (Irony these days is that TBS gets all the new stuff first.)
That being said, what on earth is going on with Target having unique SKUs for every TBS and TVC figure these days? I feel like Lando is about to have some company at Target with Saw, Teeka, and 3 3/4” Migs…

This past week I saw fresh cases of the newest wave with Reva and the 5th Brother at Walmart. Was finally able to pick up the Kenobi I was missing from this wave. Felt weird buying something in an actual store. :D

I picked up the OWK version of Vader last weekend. It looks fantastic, as most modern Darth Vader's do. But I find myself clamoring less and less to find new TBS figure and buy them immediately.

I assume you mean DPCI. I think they have been assigning a unique DPCI for their recent exclusives while the mainline figures fall in to another single DPCI.

Received the 6” comic version Leia and Vader from EE this weekend. I really like the all white Vader.
Also received 3/4 new Archive figures from Amazon. Great to finally have grey hair Han in hand. Still waiting on Boushh. The other three figures were less than $18 a pop though, so that was a nice surprise.

I picked up a Republic Commando Sev at Gamestop recently. I had my monthly power-up rewards and I figured that a $5 discount would soften the blow for a new Black Series figure.

There are a LOT of rumors going around right now about Dork Side Toys and none of them are good.
There is a lot of evidence that suggests the rumors are true. A number of manufacturers are no longer doing business with them (https://toynewsi.com/news.php?itemid=45332&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter). Dorkside has made their Twitter private. Dorkside have changed their returns policy to "All Sales Final" with no returns (https://dorksidetoys.com/pages/return-policy). The Pre-Order Policy page is missing from their homepage (https://dorksidetoys.com/pages/pre-order-info).
If you have any open pre-orders with them, you might want to try and cancel them ASAP if possible and check out other alternatives. :(

Thanks Jeff, I have been reading about this for awhile now on Fwoosh and it’s doesn’t sound good for them. I cancelled all my remaining orders a few weeks ago thankfully. Sounds like a lot of people who preordered stuff with PayPal are getting stuck with store credit now though. Curious to know what the heck happened but I guess we will never get the full story.
I saw the new Walmart 6” shipper display this morning but it was right by the front door, not in the toy section, and had been pretty well picked over. I did grab a JAC-1 and Holiday Scout Trooper though for kicks.

In the TVC Facebook group the answer to the PayPal questions may have been answered. One customer was reaching out to Dorkside for answers about a refund on a PayPal purchase. Dorkside was not forthcoming, and said something to the effect that they might not be taking PayPal anymore. So the customer reached out to PayPal. At which point PayPal informed them that they had suspended Dorkside's account. THIS IS NOT GOOD.

So GameStop wants to charge me $8 to ship Scorch. This on top of the inflated $27.99 price tag. Meanwhile Target wants to charge me $6 to ship the Gamorrean Guard, which is also overpriced at $34. (Coincidentally their threshold for Free Shipping is $35)
I’ve hit my limit with this crap. I’m just not paying for shipping on stuff that is already a bad value. I’m content to wait it out and pick it up in store or some kind of sale.
I’m a sucker, but not a super sucker. :D

I stopped in to a Best Buy today for the first time in awhile and noticed their toy section is pared way way back. They had a little Lego section and then there was a shelf or two of other random bits.
Maybe this change happened awhile ago but the last time I was at this store (six months ago?) they had a few small aisles full of toys.

I came across the Grand Inquisitor yesterday at Target, along with Mayfeld and Greef Karga. According to the Target app the Grand Inquisitor was $22.99. I haven't seen the price budge on that one at all, and I loved the character in REBELS. So I got the cashier to price match with the Target app. Otherwise it would have been $24.99!

Funny you should ask that, I got a shipping notice earlier in the week with the original order # but no tracking info. When I looked the order up it the item just showed as Awaiting Availability or something like that. So yeah, same deal as you sounds like. I hope that is not how they are handling these from now on though, I like being able to track my stuff.
I just got another of those emails last night too, probably for the Battle Droid, so I guess it will just show up out of the blue one day soon…

I took the plunge and got the Imperial Riot Trooper (Ferrix) this morning thanks to the markdown to $18.49. That $26.99 price tag is just too high for these figures. And I like this particular figure! But I passed on the Shoretrooper repaint. That didn't do anything for me at all.

thinking Cad Bane will be part of a regular wave, so held off on getting him for now. Same for the ROTJ figures.

I actually found a ROTJ 40th Wicket in a store. ON A PEG! Count this among the very few Black Series figures that I would happily pay full price to add to my collection. I also ordered the Darth Maul (Mandalore) figure from Hasbro Pulse. It just seems like one of those that I might never see in person, so I pulled the trigger on that.

Yeah, I have seen a few different Target stores around here that got at least two cases of that ROTJ wave, so encouraging to see them show up in greater numbers. I have seen the Gammy at multiple stores as well. I hope Waves 2 and 3 get good distribution like this too because I didn’t preorder any of those.

I ordered another Aldhani Cassian from Walmart.com when they put they Bad Batch figures up the other day. The first one they sent me got totally crushed in that stupid flimsy envelope they use.
Got the new one yesterday and it was smushed too, although slightly less so than the first one. I guess that’s as good as I can expect since this is apparently not being sold in stores. ::)
Yesterday I picked up a Credit Collection Moff Gideon at Ollie’s for $7.99. They also had two full cases of the Jyn Erso repack figure in the newer box, and Saw for $9.99. Pass.

Man, did I see some interesting things at Walmart yesterday!
Not only did they have BOTH Andor exclusives in stock, they also had JAC-1 and Credit Collection Boba Fett, whom I have never seen in stores before. Several of each too so they were not just one off returns.
I was finally able to pick up a minty boxed Cassian in disguise figure, and I got a much nicer box for the Imperial Officer too. Happy to upgrade both of those.
I literally could not remember getting CC Boba, or what condition he might have come in, so I grabbed one of those too, just to be safe. Will have to dig around today on that guy.

Seen a few new things recently:
The first PFP wave at both Target and GameStop, no price in system yet at Target though.
The second ROTJ wave with Paploo, Chewie in chains, etc at Target. I passed them up initially thinking I had that whole wave on Preorder but apparently I did not. :( When I went back Paploo and Chewie were both gone but I got the repacks.
The new TVC wave with Hunter and Piett. Hunter continues to elude me though… :-\

GameStop is having a 50% off Clearance sale online only right now. I bought a couple of extra Nightbrother Archers for $10 each, and was able to pick them up in store and skip the shipping charges. :)

If you live near an Ollie’s, they have a decent 15% off sale ending today. I stopped by on Friday and found full cases of Jyn and Zorii Bliss, the Saw Gerrera Deluxe Set, Credit Collection Moff Gideon and Greef Karga, and a bunch of Archive figures like Cody, Tusken Raiders and Death Troopers - all for $9.99 each!
I had bought a cheap Saw and Gideon there previously, so I just grabbed a few Tuskens, Death Troopers, and Greef, came out to exactly $9 each after tax. :)

Picked up the Luke/Grogu 2-pack from Target after spotting it in store yesterday. Did not expect to see that so soon.
Saw an end of the aisle rider at Walmart with 1-JAC and the two recent Andor exclusives, all for $19 each.
GameStop had a ton of new stuff too, ROTJ carded Wave 2, 4th sister, Luthen, Mon Mothma, even Vel Sartha, who I still have on preorder with Amazon. I would have bought her on the spot but $26.98 for that figure is absurd.

Darth Malak and Bastila Shan both came into stock on Amazon, so I ordered those. Delivery dates are supposed to be within the next week or so. Those are two of the only TBS figures that I've been realy excited about.
I saw the new 2-packs at Target recently - Luke with Grogu, and the set with Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane. They all look really good, but the price point is a big deterrent right now.

Picked up the new Gaming Greats Darth Maul at my local GameStop yesterday. Was able to use their website to check which stores had stock, very convenient. The price on that thing was bad enough never mind the shipping charge.
Also noticed something yesterday I have never seen happen in the history of the 6” line: a numbering error!
In the Andor sequencing, Cassian and Vel are both numbered 08. ???

I saw several interesting things at Target yesterday.
First off, they appear to have gotten the new 6” Ahsoka wave sometime recently. All that was left was a Morgan and Chopper, which is weird because they are both single packed, iirc. I left Chopper since he looked like just a straight re-issue of the Rebels figure, but I did grab Morgan since I did not have that wave on preorder.
Here’s what it gets interesting, the item would not scan at self check out. So I went back and grabbed the tag off the peg and that wouldn’t scan either. Then I noticed the price was now showing as $26.49! I finally got someone to manually enter it for me at the $24.99 price but yikes, that is unwelcome news.
Felt bizarre to see new stuff on the pegs that hasn’t even shipped online yet. I checked a few other stores but nada.

KX Security Droid Walmart holiday exclusive - found a whole case on the pegs and was able to pick out a nice minty one.
Battle Damaged General Grievous GameStop Gaming Greats exclusive - only 1 out so I grabbed it.
Some new Marvel Legends and TVC stuff too.
I did not have Grievous or the KX Droid on PO so was happy to find those in person and skip the shipping $$$.
