I actually did do the legs in a brighter orange/yellow on the outer part, you just can't see it in the pics because the kama covers it. I'll have to study the reference pics more closely for the next one I do.

The point is moot on this one though...I gave it to Jesse and he had it at his store, but this kid, probably about ten, kept asking about it. So Jesse told him "It's yours for $25 bucks", figuring the kid wouldn't want it at that price. But the kid bought it, then asked Jesse if I could make him more clones for next week!

Crazy, man. It's weird to think people would buy these little toys I make for my own amusement. But I guess that's a fair price considering the time involved, and now the kid has something none of his friends have.

Awesome work! I'm digging everything. My only complaint is that Bly looks like his yellow parts are too bright, but I think that's due to your camera's flash.

Also, is that a Ki-Adi robe on Saesee?

I really like the Saesee Tiin, he looks pretty bada$$ and like he's ready to chop up some Separatists.

Bly looks fantastic.  I think I might hold off on my own painting on Clones though, and let Hasbro make them.  I just can't paint that well.  I like to paint my own fan-fic characters mostly, that way when I make mistakes, people can't point them out.   :)

Diddly: That is indeed a cut-to-fit Ki-Adi-Mundi robe on Saesee Tinn. All the parts of Ki-Adi, with the exception of his head, are great for customizing. Remember Chewie's ultra-cool Traeden Cusiro?

Oh, and Bly was definitely lightened up by the camera flash. He was darker in person...and hopefully some little kid is now enjoying him.  ;)

Chewie: I hope Hasbro makes all these...they should release a wave of just clones! I think you could do it if you put your mind to it, though...you do amazing work.

Try just one...go ahead. Start with a simple one, like the 501st.   ;)

Man, these customs are pumped out daily!

To keep it short, I love all the clone trooper customs. Especially the ARC Captain. I also can't wait to see a helmet for Tiin. I loved whent hey took over the droid ship in the toon.

and if you are still taking names on the bith, how about Fiz Cor'gril.

I took it out of suggested names for bith in the alien anthology of the RPG. mix and mash names..

Thanks for the vote of confidence DD... I might try and paint a Clone sometime soon.  If I do, I'll probably have some questions regarding the painting process.

You're custom of Saesee is great. The clone armor color may not match the Animated Series, but I will say this - the color is a perfect match to the Commando armor that Clones wear... I think that's a cool touch, intentional or not.

Awesome work on Bly, too.

Great work as always.

Thanks, Angry Ewok! Always good to see an administrator pop in!

Anyway, this isn't a new custom by any means, but I was playing around in photoshop, and I may start repackaging some of my extra customs for fun and display.

Granted, I'm using cheap paper right now, and I'm running low on ink...but this mock-up will give you an idea of what I'm planning.

I couldn't really tell you what else to add to the jodo kast. but you do appear to be using the scheme from his twin engines of destruction appearence.

There is also this card game picture of him.

That is most likely How I would make him, but make the yellow a bit more orange.

He looks a little less like fett in that scheme, which is good.

My TRU had a whole bunch of VOTC fetts in stock yesterday, nabbed one, with the intent of some sort of mandalorian custom, not sure what I want to do yet.
