Sorry, Perennial! Didn't see this until today.

Your guess was right, I stretched the belt off of the 300th Fett figure after boil and popping the legs. The VOTC belt I cut off with an exacto knife, but in such a way I could reuse it later.

Hope that helps!

That helps me so very much, thanks, DD! This was a big, BIG help!

I really like the Republic Commando. Wish I could of gotten a few from Ricky as well. But alas I just get to drool at others work.

The Senate Guard is really good as well.

Great Job on the Commando and the fan fic Commander! Would you ever consider casting those parts from the Republic Commando? PM sent to you about that.

Great work on your customs!

DD I was trying to be a bit more subtle than that in my post, but I'm interested in some cast if you ever do them too. :P

Bandoleer Solution:

Clone Wars Anakin Skywalkers bandoleer and pouch. I'm using mine to put on a grunt I'm gonn start work on tonight, for Commander Cow's squad. Or herd.

Whatever cows run in today.

 Whats a micron pen?
N E Way.........I'm using a CW Obi Wan bandolier for an EU CW Arc Commando that I should be able to finish tonite and post pics.   Nice work DD.  I really like the use of that micron pen.  I'm tring to get this "wash" techniuqe down and I am not sure if I accomplished it with the Commando WIP i'm doing, lmk what u think when I post pix tonite.

BTW; I am not familiar with Ricky UK.  GH is galatic hunter right?

Wow, a lot of questions! Let me see if I can answer them all...

I think Ricky is calling himself Concept_UK now. You might know him by that name. GH is indeed Galactichunter.com. A micron pen is an ink pen that comes in a variety of widths...I'm using the .005 size for detailing.

As far as the Commando casts go, guys, I'm not adverse to hooking you up when I make some more, but before I can agree to that, I think I should get Ricky's permission. I don't know what he has planned for those, and I certainly don't want to step on his toes. It's his work, not mine...I just made a copy of it...so I think it's only fair that he makes the call. I sent him a message regarding this, so we'll see.

Hey guys...bear with me, I'm in the process of updating all my old links. But let's not dwell on the past...let's look to the new!

All right...finally, I have compiled enough reference that I believe I may actually, at long last, have achieved my ultimate Commander Gree custom.

I can't believe how much more I like this one than my original attempt.

And I made two more just like it! (I had to custom mix a lot of the colors, and had so much I didn't want it to go to waste!) Whatta you guys think?

Your Gree rocks!  Wow, that is really nice work.

If you are going for 100% film accuracy (I wasn't on mine obviously), there might be two things to work on just a bit -

(1) - His helmet where the top part is painted gray - I think it is green in the film.

(2) - The camo area on his legs, crotch and forearms - I am almost 100% sure there is quite a bit of white on his armor.

But seriously, those aren't drawbacks at all.  This is reall well done.  What did you make the straps from?

 :P

Love your Gree!  Nice Job, I thought that it was green where chewie said it was, and the rest until that black line above his visor was all grey.

Great Job! ;D

Holy hit the nail on the head Dman!  That is one sweet, and ACCURATE Gree!
The Green on his chest may need weathered, but that is SWEET!

Here are a few web shots of gree, and it doesnt look like there is n e white on him that I can tell.

As always DD, excellent work.  I like how you made his black legs a tad shinier than the rest of his armor.  Definitely the best Gree I've seen done.

As far as the pics go, I think the bottom shot (the big pic) that Talon posted has some color consistency issues all its own.  When I've compared that to other Gree screenshots, pics, and just from what I remember of the movie -  there are a lot of color discrepancies.
