The best deal I know of is Shopko.  The DVD is $14.99 but you receive an instant $5.00 off coupon if you purchase Duracell batteries (which brings the movie right back up to fifteen bucks but you have batteries now too!)
You also get a CD-Rom of Return of the King filled with all kinds of goodies for free (a $19.99 value).

The local Walmart store employee told me their price was $14.97 but you only get a fridge magnet from midnight to 6:00am.   ::)

Folks may want to check their Sunday papers today for the Walgreens ad for ROTK.  They have two coupons for $5 off each that can be used.  One is in conjunction with the batteries again.  It doesn't say what the price will be before hand, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Also, I'm a subscriber to EW and recieved the Best Buy Special Edition in the mail yesterday.  It's very nice, nothing reused from anywhere else.

i pre-ordered my copy of rotk from blockbuster, of all places. for $29.99 (+ tax = $31.79) i got a copy of the dvd along with 7 free rentals. rentals usually cost me $4.76 each ($4.76 x 7 = $33.32) - so technically, i got the dvd for free, because i would have rented some flicks anyway  ;D

I'm buying the Trilogy from Amazon, but Target seems to me to be the best place to buy ROTK. . .

$14.99 plus free popcorn, and free batteries after coupon.

Nope, but I'm hoping that the damn stores beef up their selection of Trilogy figs as well.  Going to pick it up on the way home from work.

FutureShop up here (~ Best Buy) is the best deal I've seen, $22.99 Cdn.
