I kind of see the reverse happening on Ebay. Since the line has been paused, prices have shot throught the roof. I watched a Boba Fett go for $145 today. The Vader that came out in 2004 has gone up about $25 and the Luke Jedi and Leia have also gone up about $25 in the last few weeks.
I agree that the first figure packaging was horrible, but the "new look" is awsome, though they look the best opened!! This is the first line of figs I have collected since vintage, and the only one too (and some AOTC animated stuff). I personally think Hasbro makes alot of crap! I have only bought 3 ROTS figs: Anakin battle damage, Yoda holographic, and C3 Vader. Nothing else interests me. Leave it to Hasbro to cancel them!!!
My suggestion is to dump them. I think when the line ends, the prices are going to drop. Not immediately, but they will as people lose interest. I think there's a lot speculators looking at Unleashed, something I think looks crappy in the package.

I have both the vader and yoda/sidious in my living room ready to go back to wal-mart, they are not in perfect condition, but if you want to trade for something for them I will help you out.
I need: yoda, boba fett, windu, luke, leia, first vader, and solo

I'm going with the guy that said "blasphemy".
I can't understand why they think there is a limited number of characters that will sell. They have a huge amount of them to do yet! I want a freakin Jawa or Gammorean Guard Unleashed!!!!

I have not collected ANY new star wars toys until the Unleashed came out, and the the Animated Clone Wars Cartoons (yoda is so cute what can I say!!). None have interested me. Guess when I finish my Clones Wars collection I am done. Again back to the vintage stuff!!

Hello Everyone,
This is my first post here, I am glad I finally find an awsome forum about the Unleashed line!! You guys and gals have some great info.
My friend and I pre-ordered from Amazon like most of you did, but had the luck of getting our two Vaders and one Yoda. They arrived last week in ok condition, too bent up for me. BUT to my surprise, I walked into Wal-Mart today to find six cases of the little guys. I was so excited I just stared for a second. Imagine six whole cases of these things on the shelves. Anyways I started sifting through them and came up with only ONE of each figure in C-9 condition. Every other figure was so bad that I would only buy them to open. I couldn't believe how bent and smashed they were.
In my opinion years down the road its not going to a particular figure, its going to be the ones that are in top condition that will be expensive.
Anyways another good score I had about 2 weeks ago was at www.shopafx.com . I found the Stormtrooper, IG-88, Sing wave there for $70.00 shipped to my door!! They were all in about C-9 condition. Very surprised.
Also, I live in Northern Cali. , no not San Fransisco, and I talked to the Target toy manager that is a freind of a friend, and he said that most Targets are getting rid of the first ROTS toys right now and on August 1st they have a huge shipment of new stuff coming. Don't know if this is true, but check your local Targets just in case!!
