I have been reading EU sincethe Thrawn Trilogy, and IMO I don't mind them killing off characters. They have to die sometime. And if they escape EVERY situation, then there is no dramatic tension.

Written by author (and all-around Star Wars expert) Ryder Windham, this hardcover recaps all six episodes from Anakin's perspective.
Here's a first look at the cover and slipcase, featuring artwork by Drew Struzan with a jacket and case design by Phil Falco. It is due out in October 2007.
