My understanding is that the rule has always been that you can count whatever you want to count.

That pretty much sums it up.  Include whatever you feel belongs in your tally.

Sounds good, thanks for the input.  That brings me up to $245 for the year.  I had no idea I could spend that much in such a short time.

Actual temperature near the Illinois Wisconsin border was -2oF when I was on my way to Target an hour ago.  It's really too bad they aren't playing the Super Bowl in Soldier Field tomorrow...  I'd like to see the 'Domers' deal with sub zero weather during the game.

Just a general question as I haven't done this before and I couldn't find this 'rule' in the previous challenges.  Are the novels (Allegiance, Path to Destruction) and coffee table books (SW Chronicles, etc)exempt from this?  I know that I can't count comics and tpb's, but I just want to make sure I don't miss anything.  Thanks.

Got the three of these that I wanted.  Thanks to my relative down in Texas for picking them up for me!  Can't wait for her to ship them to me.

I'm rooting for the Bears all the way but their output will really depend on which Rex shows up.  I'm praying that it's 'Don't do anything that will hurt the team' Rex.  If he shows up then I think that the Bears have a better chance than most people are giving them.

I would also love to see 'Peanut' Tillman run back a bad Peyton throw, and not to mention Hester rip up a return or two.

In the end I think that it's going to be a really good game, and if the Colts do end up winning, at least we won't have to hear every media outlet talking about how Manning can't win the big game...  Enough already!

I just ordered the Star Wars Shop exclusive hard cover edition of Legacy Volume 1 - Broken.  The cover has Darth Talon and is limited to 1500 copies.  Here's the link for anyone interested:

I've never heard of the 'Force Unleashed' line of figures before, has anyone else?

The assumption right now is that Force Unleashed is the working title of the big new SW Video Game that is coming this Fall... the game is the one that SW.com has been teasing with their Secrets of Star Wars 07 posts they had on the site in fall/winter 06.

The current rumor is that much like Shadows of the Empire, we're going to get a huge media push to support the Video Game.  We'll see things like a comic series from Dark Horse, a book or two, and then the line of figures based on the game that you see here.

Thanks Jeff, I do remember the discussion on this now.

I also just scored a Mace FX for $65 shipped via ebay!

Strike that.  The guy sent me an open box Mace FX instead of a 'new in box, never opened' Mace FX like he had advertised in the auction.  As a result, I got him to refund me $35, thus getting this FX saber for only $30!!!  This is now the second FX saber I've gotten for only $30!

Just stopped by my loval Borders today and they have 6 or so Darth Maul single bladed sabers in stock for $69.99.  Might be worth a call to Borders if any of you are still looking for these.

I also just scored a Mace FX for $65 shipped via ebay!  The only ones I need now are the EPIII Obi-Wan and the Yoda when it's released.

While I agree with the assessment that the Jedi they've chosen for these are far from desirable, and the combinations that they have come up with border on nonsensical, I'll still end up getting a few of these.  I personally like the clone re-paints.  Yes, they could have done better on the choices of base clone figures to use, but at least we aren't getting 'Quick Draws' or 'AT-TE Gunners' repainted.  I'm not crazy about the choice of packaging, but I'll live with that too.  In the end, I prefer to have releases like these than more SW Transformers, another round of Choppers, or re-hashed Unleashed figures.

Just got this while I was at lunch.  I think this is the best BP that Hasbro has released yet, hands down.  I really like that they kept the metallic paint aps on the blasters/rifles for this set.  It's a nice touch.
