Apparently, these will be numbered in sequence with the basic figure line, so I am already anticipating everyone's "fun" trying to find them. :-X

Big GROAN for exclusives, but looking forward to the figs. Rey seems to have a great head sculpt and the Mimban Trooper seems to be built on a new mold, so all for it.

Cuz WM has the largest retail footprint in the US and shitloads of $ haha.
That said yeah this was the worst news I can think of out of the show, that WM has any exclusives much less some of the TVC figures I'd really like to own.
The Mimban Stormie, at least, is just a repaint with a cloth cape and new guns. But Rey I REALLY want a couple of her. Ugh. She should be the basic figure and the repack should be the exclusive TVC carded one.

WalMart exclusives? Ugh indeed. Still haven't seen the last Black Series wave at our local store. At least it is only a couple to track down though.

I am thinking the helmet looks like a new sculpt... maybe ball jointed hands too? The black body suit under the armor looks more textured than any past figure to me, but I am not certain.
I also really am liking the Rey. I didn't think that version of her was coming in TVC so soon. It sucks that it's going to be exclusive. I had a hard enough time getting any other Walmart exclusives that I wanted.

Did they indicate whether or not WalMart would be getting solid cases of their two exclusive figures or are these figures just going to be mixed in with whatever assortment is shipping at the time?
Fingers crossed that it's solid cases cause then they should (hopefully) be pretty straightforward to find.

I'm good on Cassians CHEWIE, I have some and help from people getting some cheap ones, but I won't mind getting the TVC one. More concerned on getting Scarriff Troopers to be honest.
As the Mimban Trooper goes I meant along the lines of it's just a Stromtrooper, only dirtier, than something totally different like the Range Trooper.

Do you think that's an all new helmet or did they reuse the Rogue One 5poa Stormtrooper helmet?
EDIT - I don't think it's the Rogue One helmet but it is close to it. It has some sort of new circular things going on on the sides of the temple area.

LOL yeah I guess these will finally hit stores widespread in 2021 or so. Until then, I can only hope these hit during football season when I'm traveling and able to hit small town Walmarts

I understand Hasbro builds excitement for retailers by throwing them exclusives, but two? To WM? And both of them new figures? That are part of the main sequence of numbers? All that screaming you hear is from the future.

Do we know if anyone did manage to ask Hasbro about the ever present WM debacle? It's simple. I can walk into Target and get any exclusive almost at any time. I can't do the same with Walmart, having to wait months or more, if at all. Why so different?

FFS. WalMart? They completely dropped the ball on distribution of the 6" TBS exclusive Kylo Ren. And they're going to be entrusted with more exclusives? Ugh.

Looking at the bucket now, that's different. The brow is larger, protruding some, and definitely not just a Stormie bucket. Looks like one with a reinforced brow/dome portion. Given the rifle, maybe having your head exposed on Mimban is a bad thing for all involved. :-X

I'm hoping these will be easier to track down with just two figures. If they're in 12pk cases, that's 6 of each for any store that gets a box (assuming they're not mixed in with non-exclusives). They might even get their own case.

IIRC, the news that came out about these stated that one would be shipping in the Spring, and the other would ship in the Fall.

I listened to the recorded interviews and I'm shocked no one thought to ask Hasbro how these figures were making their way to WalMart - mixed in with the regular assortments or having their own dedicated cases which means all of a sudden you'll walk into a WM and find 12 Ach-to Rey's on the pegs.
My hope is they're going to the solid-case route so at least there will be a fighting chance of finding these.

Saw someone post this on Facebook today for sale. Did I miss the news of the figure hitting retail? The way I took the guy’s post, it was as if the figure was already out and hard to find.

Didn't find it on tunghori's ebay store, but I found the same photo on an auction - could be the guy from FB. Also noticed a couple of other auctions from Canadian sellers with carded versions in hand. Perhaps it is hitting up north?

He had 'em about two weeks ago (I saw her in there when I ordered the Kessel Run Han Solo figure.) I have my order now, so anybody who bought Rey ought to have theirs by now too.

I do not recall actually, as it wasn't really something I was gonna jump at so I kinda didn't pay it much attention. Generally though he's always a little above on pricing right out the gate on new stuff these days. Not usually outrageously above but a little bit above its retail price.

Since our WM never got a whiff of the Last Jedi wave of black series figures, and is bad with exclusives in general, plus the fact that I generally don't like going in there...i went ahead and ordered one of these as well. It arrived yesterday, and looks great. When I got it, it was $19.99, which I was willing to pay to avoid trying to hunt this down at Wal-Mart. Heck, the Vintage Collection line in general is pretty much a Target exclusive here locally anyways.

If you still love hunting for toys, great. Don’t buy this then. I’ll happily get this like I did Wave 2 and 3 with bulk army builders and no panicked anxiety hoping my Walmart puts something on the pegs. 🤷♂️

People are complaining about this? I'm just glad I'm going to be able to easily grab both Rey and (hopefully) the Mimban Stormtrooper for my Vintage Collection.
The ONLY reason I check out my local WalMarts anymore is cause they are easy to hit, if they were as hard to get to as the Targets, I would skip them altogether.
I am very happy to have my squads of Imperial Hover Tank Drivers and Range Troopers and all I had to do is pay $13.99 each from EE.

Are you out of your mind? Why would you prefer ordering something online for $5 extra dollars when you could save that $5 and spend countless hours driving in circles, putting wear and tear on your car, and burning a dozen gallons of $3.50 gas?! Plus as a bonus, you get to spend time in multiple Walmarts.

Yeah I mean the red AWing is cool and sure vehicles usually go on sale but F it. If I can avoid hassle that’s “clearance” enough for me. This hobby is too full of the unsatisfied. Bitching about prices, availability, selection... then availability is made simpler and complain about that. I’m just happy they’re making cool stuff! A new Han Stormie? Great! Someone will be mad it’s exclusive or it’s not 6” or its too much money or “Target sucks!” Cuz everyone hates them as much as WM when you wanna get something I’m sure... this hobby sucks! That’s what and who sucks!
Exactly Rob! I live in the boonies and the salt belt and in a state with the (or one of the) highest gas tax in the country I believe. I work on cars weekly. Give me online preorders all day every day till they literally can’t make another figure. The less I have to drive the better.

Picked my Rey's up yesterday. Don't know why I overlooked the fact that her staff is not included here. Seems an odd omission. But, nice figure.

I got mine as well. I agree that she's a nice figure. I picked up a clearance Rey/Guard 2-pack from the TLJ line for the Guard so I grabbed the staff off of that figure since I have that figure displayed with the ridiculous shoulder canon accessory the 2-pack came with.

Unlit saber hilts are a dime a dozen if you aren’t hyper picky... I know there are some Ani sabres easy to get.

Or free shipping if you bought something in that promotional period, and even if you didn't - $50 gets you free shipping for the year.
I've already got pre-orders in for all the upcoming Vintage figures, the Skiff, the Skiff 3-Pack... and I don't have to drive around, pay more than retail, or wander through toy aisles to do it.
I'll happily pay $50 next year for 12 months of free shipping if they keep making all the product available.
That said, I suppose that only works since I open everything up. :-\

Yeah, I get the gripes if you're not Pulse Premium, but with the premium deal it's great to know I can grab a single figure or two when they pop up and not have to worry about shipping. But, like Rob, I'm an opener for the most part so I'm not upset if the package my figure comes in is damaged a bit before I toss it in the recycling bin. :P
