Title: R2-D2 (Droid Factory Flight)
Post by: dustrho on March 26, 2003, 06:56 PM: This will be a short & simple review here. I think this figure is pretty pathetic. The dome on this is a dull dark gray color... it's not silver or chrome looking! It doesn't even have a metallic finish to it. At least Hasbro did a decent job on the first Saga R2-D2 figure they made. His legs aren't articulated so you can't pose him in a "moving" position. I'm not even going to waste my time on this figure, but it's a big disappointment.

Care to rub it in even more for those of us who are so insane that we are both Carded AND Loose completist collectors? I have to buy TWO of these pieces of GARBAGE!!! ::) ;D

Post by: dustrho on March 27, 2003, 06:32 PM: All I can hope from this is that some poor sap that works for Hasbro reads this post I started. This is the absolutel crappiest astromech droid I have ever seen, with that POTF2 R5-D4 (w/rocket launcher) in a close second place.

You're right about that, but that would involve re-designing the entire figure. Hasbro wouldn't dare make this figure better than it already is. <enormous amount of sarcasm>
