What is with you people and wanting to put Prequel characters on "Vintage" style cards? As I have said many times, to keep with the intent of this line, any Prequel figures given the "Vintage" treatment should be placed on their original cardback, be it Episode One, Power of the Jedi, or Saga. Why anyone would want to insult the original Vintage line and make Prequel characters on those Vintage cardbacks is something I do not understand.

I am simply posting this image for comparative reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if the flag included with the figure was altered more as to not so closely resemble the Nazi staff/flag.

Do not forget that the Empire was based very much on the Nazis. Therefore, I see no reason to change the flag.

It looks like that guy from China did have a real Sandtrooper. I cannot wait to get a few more of these VOTC Stormtroopers.

I love the rest of the Tatooine wave, as well. Except, of course, for Han Solo.

There will not be a new Death Squad Commander this year, but there will be a kitbash coming in the Yavin wave. However, we are getting a new Death Star Gunner, a possible repack of the VOTC Stormtrooper, Moff Jerjerrod, and we already got the the new AT-AT Driver.

My problem with the initial idea is that only the action figures that were released in the original Vintage line can be rereleased  on those same cards. Why would you want to have every single super articulated figure on a "Vintage style" cardback and at a higher price? The VOTC line is meant for collectors and especially for those who played with and collect the Vintage line.

This is me in the summer of 2004. My hair is a lot longer now, about the length of John Lennon's at the height of his hippy stage (I love Classic Rock and I love my long hair and the two happen to go well together).



This is about the right length. My hair is just a little shorter, however.

I do not feel this really deserves its own thread (and this was the most appropriate place to put this news), but Dan Curto from that other site has hinted that the Tonnika Sisters will soon be released.
