I was amused today when I saw links to RS's SDCC Hasbro pics with my son's face splattered all over them. My daughter was in there too but hardly visable. I asked them about it and they tell me they were looking at the figs when all of a sudden these people came up behind them and started taking picks like crazy. ;D Thanks to King Maul for the PIX!!

An informatory note in case anyone reads in here ever....

WOTC 'alliance and empire' boosters can be found at Target stores now. I was just in a local Target store and, in the trading cards section was the new set and some 'rebels VS imperial' boosters as well.

Ok, I'll take a third stance and 'just say no' to more refresher crap legends, overdone/shipped Saga and instead send only more TAC now.

I'd say unless they ship more it's true Brent, I know our WalMarts got a mass quantity only once; they sold out quick with no reship. Target's strategy is different though they stock smaller amounts at a time and of course, they will put anything on clearance after a few months..it's their way. Keep in mind too, that Target had the highest initial price on these (before they clearanced them) which would help explain them still having some quantity to clear out.  I remember last year though there was another surge reshipment of these around August/September that caused even WM to clearance them.

So unless more are shipped what Hasbro is saying could be true.

Dale...This could be a dumb Q but...

are you logging in twice as per the discussion @ sandtroopers main page?

they say you have to log-in( to HS), then access the Starwarsshop link then once in there, log-in again (to HS)then it will work? They say if you're not logged in twice then a button won't appear.

If you already did all this then I'll shut up; was just tying to help.

it sucks that you have not gotten it yet :(

LOL, HAhA

I was reading this whole thread today and all the positive 'this is a cool set, I think I'll pick it up' comments and funny how they turned to the dark side after seeing the hideous grasshopper/locust painted clone.

Definately a NO for me...what a disgusting buy for 30$.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

EDIT: the commander Bacara is STILL a ****** figure no matter what way they repaint him. He certainly adds to the negative feelings for this 'set'.  (IMO)

Jesse,

Koffi Arana is his name. Hasbro said at the panel that 'he had a secret and we're not gonna spoil it for you but that a 'weapon' fits into his chest'. Yeah they're full of it though, just a little research in comic reading (graphic novel clone wars vol#9-not sure of individual comic book series). Anyhew...

If you look at Darth Vader you'll see a 'cortosis alloy' sword in the severed arm laying in his pack-in in the infamous 'prolonged 30AC wave'. What happens is Vader uses the sword to 'fly' this sword into Arana's chest(Vader already has his arm severed in the battle-a pretty awesome battle where it's vader against 8 Jedi at once, makes for good reading/viewing).

What I don't understand is several figues in the Prolonged video game wave go with the comic book wave of figs. Additionally, in the comic it shows the sword going into Arana just above the circular thingy on his chest. The toy however appears to have the slot for the sword in the circular thingy meaning an inaccuracy byt the manufacturer...I guess I'll wait and see if this gets fixed.
