I know there was a thread like this a long time ago in the TAC section, and I really liked the idea. It's 2018, and Hasbro says there will be one final wave of 10-12 figures for the Star Wars line. What would you want it to consist of?
My dream wave:
TPM Darth Maul (new, SA, w/wrist and hip articulation) w/lightsaber, lightsaber hilt, and removable cloak
AOTC Zam Wessell (new, SA) w/removable hemet, removable veil, blaster pistol, projectile rifle, removable arm, and kouhuns
AOTC Barriss Offee (new, SA) w/lightsaber, lightsaber hilt, and removable cloak
AOTC Hermione Bagwa w/drink tray and dishwasher unit
ROTS Bana Breemu w/drink glass
ROTS General Grievous (new, SA, accurate scale) w/detatchable arms, 4 lightsabers, and softgoods cape
Force Unleashed Shaak Ti w/lightsaber
ANH Walrusman (new, SA) w/blaster, bar section, removable arm, and drink glass
ESB Hoth Rebel Soldier (new, SA) w/blaster rifle, blaster pistol, removable helmet, goggles, and backpack
ESB Zuckuss (new, SA) w/blaster rifle
ROTJ Sim Aloo w/removable headdress and blaster pistol
ROTJ Admiral Ackbar (new, SA)

The Max for one wave is 8 so I will pick my dream wave with my 8 top choices.
1. SA Han Bespin
2. SA Luke Hoth (Ball jointed hips so he can sit on a Taun-Taun) +Battle Damaged variant
3. SA Hoth Rebel Soldier (With 2 different heads)
4. SA Lando General (Vest should be seperate part for ewok celebration)
5. SA Admiral Ackbar
6. SA Princess Leia Hoth (Variant head can be Bespin escape)
7. SA ROTJ Emperor with Throne
8. Nikto with furry skirt from Vintage line
(Screw the prequels, they have had too much of the spotlight in recent years)

Hmm, dream wave huh? OK, I'll stick to the 8 figure a wave format too:
TPM-SA Obi-wan
AOTC-Nyrat Agira (Outlander Patron)
ROTS-SA Greivous correct scale, arms can split into four as in the movie and be SA
ROTS-SA Senate room duel Palpatine (correct robes, preferably soft good so he can be posed whichever way we want)
ROTS-SA Coruscant clone (grey markings) If I ever were to back to army building big, this might be the one figure I'd do that with.
ESB-Toryyn Farr
SA Imperial officer-grey uniform-running change of rank, small amount of captains/generals (4 blue and 4 red pips each)-the general's pips are more wide spread than the Captain's, then more of commanders (3 red and blue pips each) than Capts/Gen, then MORE Lieutenants (2 blue and red pips each) than Commanders, then a few "ensigns" 1 red pip only. Running change with heads too with 8 heads total so you can mix different heads with different officers. As far as the rank goes, that would actually be simple. the rank bar would have a small peg on the back side of it that would fit into a small hole on the chest. So Hasbro culd use the same figure for all of these officers variants.
This still leaves me with one slot, so I'll have to think about that one.
[EDIT] Ok I finally remembered who I would want for the 8th spot: Nym from the Starfighter games. And honorable mention to Talon Kardde.[END EDIT]

I'm sure that most of these are significantly different from my past dream waves, but if these eight figures were made, I could quit collecting and not feel bad about not having certain characters in my collection.
01. General Grievous (SA, properly scaled, soft goods cape, switchable arms at shoulders (four arms and two arms), blaster, MagnaGuard staff, four lightsabers)
02. IG-100 MagnaGuard (SA, properly scaled, soft goods cape, MagnaGuard staff, at least three color variants-white, blue, and silver)
03. Owen Lars (ANH; SA, soft goods cloak)
04. Obi-Wan Kenobi (TPM; SA, soft goods cloak, lightsaber hilt, lightsaber, Qui-Gon's lightsaber, breathing mask, comlink)
05. Luke Skywalker in Hoth Gear (SA, blaster pistol, lightsaber hilt, lightsaber, switchable heads (one with Wampa damage, one without), ball-jointed hips so he can sit on a Tauntaun)
06. Klaatu (Jabba's Palace; SA, soft goods fuzzy skirt, force pike, blaster pistol)
07. Han Solo in Carbonite (ESB; Han would be SA, with blaster, bicep cuffs; Carbonite block would be properly scaled, SOLID (no hollow back), and include "floating base" to simulate transport to Slave I)
08. Taun We (properly scaled)
Kind of dull stuff compared to what most people want, but I'm a dull guy. :)

Dressel's list would be mine, pretty much, though I think I'd replace the Stormtrooper with something or other... Maybe the Dresellian too, as well as the Bothan (cool characters, but all you really need is a headsculpt to work with, so I'm less into that character). Both I would dig, but not enough for a "dream wave" concept.
I'd probably slip in...
-Ultimate (not just SA) Grievous... Super huge as he should be, every joint moveable (and removable hands), and arms that spring open into 4-arms ala the Deluxe figure.
-Ultimate Kyle Katarn... I love the character so I'd love a SA Jedi Knight Kyle with every weapon he used in Dark Forces as well as Jedi Knight. He'd also come with his droid companion Weegee, from his family home.
-Senate Duel Palpatine... I like the red robe idea DR had and I'd add that a Senate Duel figure is equally important.
An honorable mention would go to Bom Vimdin, who is the last alien from the Cantina I'm dying to get... I can live without Leia's, Padme's, Obi's and the like at this point, were the line to end for some inexplicable reason... I like them, don't get me wrong. I thought Wave 1's heroes were really cool, but I just now want my last figure focuses... After that I'm just looking at everything as gravy.
I think a Dresellian commando is gonna happen at some point. He's freaky, alien, army builder, Rebel, all in one. I think that'll be something we see. I just hope he's "generic" but still comes with an eyepatch accessory. THAT would kick ass. A multi-use figure.

I'm stealing your Ultimate Kyle Katarn JJ. He's an awesome character. In no particular order
-Ultimate Kyle Katarn... Hyper Articulated (Hips, Wrists, Torso) Jedi Knight Kyle with every weapon he used in Dark Forces as well as Jedi Knight. He'd also come with his droid companion Weegee, from his family home.
-Ultimate Jedi Master Luke Skywalker... HA Luke Skywalker with removable soft goods robe, accurate lit and unlit Lightsabers
-Lowbacca... SA, accurate Scale and likeness, His translator droid Em TeeDee, accurate lit and unlit Lightsabers
-K'kruhk... SA, accurate scale and likeness, hat, removable soft goods robe, accurate lit and unlit Lightsabers
-Marasiah Fel... SA, removable soft goods robe, accurate lit and unlit Lightsabers
-Gunn "Gunner" Yage... SA, Imperial Navy outfit, Blaster
-Khaleen Hentz... SA, Blaster
-Sian Jeisel... HA, accurate lit and unlit Lightsabers

Alright, damn you, I'm a sucker for dream lists too ;). I really like JACKOFTRADZE's up there, and being the BOP (bitter old purist) that I am, my list will feature OT only as well!
1) Hoth Rebel Soldier: no big surprise; this guy needs to be perfect!
2) Emperor: soft goods done right (material like the VTSC Tusken that can be given the water treatment) and articulated to sit on the throne or hunch over.
3) Palace Klaatu: needs to be done simply for the vintage connection, but is such a recognizeable palace denizen.
4) Ben Kenobi: either give us the spirit version in solid colors, or soft goods done right.
5) Uncle Owen: can't believe he hasn't been resculpted yet!
6) Admiral Ackbar: articulated with his chair, and repainted for other Mon Cal officers.
7) Leia Hoth: proper scale and articulation, and use most of her parts to give us a new Bespin Escape Leia.
8] Echo Base trooper: this is the vintage-style, brown-vested folks. We could have some look like Luke's Hoth outfit (with the winter boots and scarf, etc), then have some variants with black boots and caps instead of full hats.

With Yarna finally being announced it is hard to imagine a dream wave without her but i will try anyway. ;D
So one final wave of 12 figures...
1. Vlix - Without a doubt a figure i want since getting a vintage one still escapes me. He may even be my new petition Hasbro figure. I think most of this dream wave list if not all will be random figures.
2. Princess Kneesaa - I never understood why Kenner didnt plan on making her in the Ewoks line, not even in the never released second wave. Throw in a new Wicket and a nice little 2-pack.
3. Cindel Towani & Teek 2-pack - another set i would like to see done. I assume most have no interest int he ewok movies but i like things being tied in together.
4. Sim Aloo - a vintage figure remake that is a must.
5. Wooof - Another vintage figure that should be redone in the modern line
6. Sise Fromm - what is a Vlix figure without his boss.
7. Gaff - Another figure that i always wanted although never released.
8. Guri - I always liked Shadows of the Empire and always wanted here and the #9 figure.
9. Leebo - same reason as above.
10. Tig Fromm - I guess i would want the whole gang.
11. Weazel & ET Senator 2-pack - I think this one is more random than the Droids and Ewok figures but I think that the Weazel character would mak ea good modern Willow figure and the ET senator is just something i want for whatever crazy reason.
12. Admiral Screed - Another figure which i think can be really cool.
So that would be my 12 figure wave. With all that said, i dont think the line will ever be complete without an Ultimate Jabba the Hutt. That would be on my wishlist as well.

Nym's from the Starfighter series which wasn't too popular, but his character did turn up on a fan's choice ballot one year oddly enough.
Canderous Ordo and Bastilla Shan are from Knights of the Old Republic and probably resonate with a lot of folks since that game seems to have a lot of pull when EU voting rolls around.
Cin Drallig's the guy Anakin's choking in the security hologram...
Beyond that, I'm clueless who most any of them are. I think I know the Mantis Jedi though because I've seen his image, and he would make a pretty cool figure.

- Super Articulated Interchangeable Heads Rebel Fleet Trooper and/or Hoth Rebel Soldier (with accurate uniform)
- Super Articulated Interchangeable Heads RImperial Officer
- SA Boba Fett with jetpack or wrist firing projectile (not a huge 2 inch projectile)

- SA Biker Scout with Removeable Helmet, lift up face plate, and snap on armor
- Tesar Sabatine (Barabel (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Barabel) Jedi from New Jedi Order Books)
- Jaina Solo (we will see this in some form one day)
- Ganner Rhysode's Last Stand against the Vong (New Jedi Order)

*New* R2-D2 with Launching Lightsaber (with spring-loaded action that's life-threatening)
SA Han Solo (Bespin Outfit, w/gas-mask, MF tools, & hand-cuffs)
SA Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise w/Dianoga)
SA ROTJ Emperor Palpatine (w/soft-goods and Throne)
Hyper-SA Rebel Soldier (Hoth Outfit w/brown vest); release 3 versions w/alternate heads

After looking at my list, I agree it's too heavy on the heroes; there's not enough balance of good-guys, bad-guys, and weird aliens/robots. But this is my dream wave.

My original description called for "SA Han Solo w/tools, mask, and handcuffs," but I thought that looked too much like an S&M Han Solo (...poor sweet, innocent Leia :-\ ...), so I beefed up the description and added the MF.
But yeah, I'd go for a quality Mace Windu with his Bad MF wallet and "Great-Vengeance-and-Furious-Anger" slashing & kicking action-features.
