The pipeline announcement was during the livestream a few weeks ago. As far as new figures, The Ahsoka is a repack (no big deal, it's a great figure) and the droids are supposed to be a new sculpt...but they look like Build-A-Droid type figures from the photo. Hard to tell though.

Ahsoka - repack/repaint of VC202 sculpt
R7-A7 - repaint/repack of the BAD sculpt figure from "Celebrate the Saga" Jedi Order 4-pack (https://hasbropulse.com/products/star-wars-celebrate-the-saga-jedi-order)
RG-G1 (G-G) - 1st time release; BAD sculpt repaint
CH-33P (Cheep) - 1st time release; kitbash using VC304 Chopper with a new dome/leg/parts

$70?! Considering all of their other multipacks have gone to clearance, I'm just going to start with 1 and maybe even cancel it. Nice looking droids though.

I'd have preferred a white-box troop builder 4-pack style release for $55-60, but $70 is the price you pay for the "carded figures in a box" gimmick. Just be glad it wasn't $80 like the Jabba Goon carded 4-pack was?
It is tempting to wait it out though as the Amazon TBB 4-pack and OWK 3-pack both hit clearance prices 30-50% off at times.

Oof. I've got so, so many astromech droids. I love them, but do I need to pay $70 for two new ones?
I think I'll try and wait for clearance on this too.

I usually just preorder right away and pay full price to make it easy, but I’m tempted to wait on this one and get it for $35 or $40 later. Doesn’t seem like good value to me at all.

I paid ~$30 in 2020 for the 5POA CTS Jedi Order 4-Pack just to get the BAD R7-A7 figure the first time. I guess it's only fitting that I'm paying $70 to get the BAD G-G and kitbash Cheep ($35 each) this time. ::)

I really like the character lineup. But the sticker shock is serious. I think it's because one figure is clearly a reissue, and the droids are smaller figures. That creates a perception issue - the astromech droids are smaller, and they are not newly tooled figures except for a couple of domes. So, the price per figure breaks down to $17.50 each. It's not that far off from the $16.99 MSRP for TVC figures, but the perception issues are real.
I ordered 2 of these sets. And looking back at the history of these sets? I think I might modify my order and cancel one, and order a second down the line when the price is a bit less daunting.

Yeah I definitely need this but 100% waiting for a sale. That price is nuts.
