Who knew IG-88 was such a badass?!

Seriously, there’s nothing in this trailer I don’t like!

The only thing...the only thing that bugged me was the "guy in carbonite" shot. Unless the show goes out of its way to say something like, "Since Vader did it to Solo, now everyone wants their bounty frozen."

Otherwise I was supremely pumped!!!

Technically that’s IG11, which is fine to me, but if they did that to appease the one dude who liked 88’s backstory then that’s dumb.

If you check out the shot, it's actually GUYS!  I saw a row of carbonite blocks, starting with that Weequay in the front.

They did it all the way back to Clone Wars so there’s been time to have it become more in vogue. 🤷‍♂️

I didn't think it was possible to get more hyped for this show!

Anyone else think the big reveal is that "The Mandalorian" is Boba Fett?

No.  I think that LFL is trying to make this universe bigger.

I was shocked to see a couple of things in the trailer, like Super Battle Droids and a Separatist Droid Gunship!

That was pretty sweet.

The other thing I thought was funny was the middle of the trailer where an alien fades in and out of the screen for like 0.05 seconds - I kept freezing the trailer trying to get a better look at him and figure out why they'd tease us with it but not really give us a longer look at whoever that is.

Anyone else think the big reveal is that "The Mandalorian" is Boba Fett?

I think it will be something along those lines, too...my mind keeps running the gamut of "he will make an offhand comment implying Boba Fett is still alive" to "he IS Boba Fett!!!"

What I would love to see is the revelation that Boba Fett hired skilled guys to dress up in the outfit and basically "franchised" the name out to maximize his profits, there were two or three Boba Fetts out working separate bounties at any given time across the galaxy. This would give us the leeway for the Mandalorian to reveal it was actually him who captured Han Solo, and some other d-bag was the guy who got swallowed by the Sarlacc...while the true Boba has been sitting back biding his time and collecting money. With the highly public "death" of Boba Fett, the money stream dried up, so the Mandalorian went off on his own. Now, maybe Fett will be tying up loose ends and the two of them could come into conflict. It would also be a great way to bring Jodo Cast back into the canon.

But that's just my mind working on it, I'm sure it will go off in some other direction.

I had to rewind/rewatch the snippet of the Mandalorian with the Ugnaught...because goddamn is that Nick Nolte under the CG'd prosthetics??!?!?!

I had heard that Nick Nolte was the voice actor for the Ugnaught, and that it's a total CGI character.  I don't know if there was someone on set doing motion capture, but that's probably the case.  Whether or not it was Nick Nolte doing it?  I'm thinking probably not.

PRACTICAL NOTE - Has anyone been able to add the Disney+ app on your smart tv's?

Nope.  This is something that has confused me.  I would have thought they'd release the apps earlier in order to avoid everyone downloading and installing and bombarding their support at the same time on launch day, but I guess not?

Yeah I was looking for it last night and thinking who does this?  Seriously how isn’t this out already even if it’s just a dumbed down version till launch?
