Wow, almost a year and no posts in this thread, huh?
I just got a pair of Asaaj Ventress sabers for Christmas and am hopeful to receive Kit Fisto for our anniversary in a couple days.

I've done well at K-Mart in the past, but the chain did not particularly help themselves this year. I bought some stocking stuffers a couple weeks before Christmas, but only out of mere charity as the freaking lines were ridiculous. The stores are constantly understaffed and understocked yet oddly overpriced. $9.19 for a Clone Wars figure? $29.99 for a vehicle or battlepack? And they sit. The saving grace in 2009 and '10 were buy-one, get-one free sales the shortened week before Black Friday. I cleaned up on those. Of the six K-Marts in my area, I could seriously see five closing, which pretty much matches the percentage of that report.

Yeah, five below seems to only have one case and the only non AOTC figures are ROTS Grievous and ANH Sandtrooper.

I've been to a TJ Maxx and a Marshalls and they have like four spots in each store with toys but not a Star Wars figure in either.

« on: November 28, 2011, 06:22 AM »Yet another Toys R Us 2 for $12.99 sale on figures (Star Wars, GI JOE, Marvel, Captain America, Spiderman), doesn't sound like it includes vintage, though.
The sticker in the aisle said "All" Star Wars, hence I was able to get them to adjust.

« on: November 27, 2011, 11:02 AM »I guess with the lack of reports and any published news on the subject - the WalMart Clone Wars exclusives (DVD 2-packs, Deluxe Vehicles, Ultimate Clone Wars set) are all still MIA and didn't show up in an aisle display for Black Friday as some theorized?
There's a chain that has no idea where anything is in its system. I'd side with Hasbro over them in an it said/it said any day of the week. Wouldn't rule out showing up in the Christmas run-up. Wal-Mart's were a friggin' disaster this week.

« on: November 16, 2011, 06:19 PM »For the first episode, did it end right after Beavis and Butthead were in the lunch room with Stewart? It went to commercial, and then my recording ended. It seemed like there should be another segment, and the preceding show ran 5 or 10 minutes into the beginning of my recording. Happened both times I recorded it (tried a second time thinking I missed the last part the first time).
My DVR has been a pain with this as well. I feel your, uh, huh huh, pain, Bill.

I can't say either is a real loss. The Obi-Wan rig looked cool. but it never made sense to me given that it is essentially a broke-ass version of the front of the Republic Shuttle. Maybe Hasbro realized that and the fact we have about a million and a half Obi-Wans.

I think that wave will be fairly abundant during the holiday season proper.
