I went to Suncoast (same as FYE) and they had some old figures for $12.99. BIggs, Death Star Trooper, etc. Nothing new or cheap.

One of my local Wallys still has a handful of these in the Clearance section for $5. I was able to pick up a couple that I held off on initially. But now all I need is the Luke set so I can finish that C-3PX.  He is the only set they dont have.

I found that elusive Scuba Clone at TRU yesterday.  The actually had two on the pegs. Next up for me is some of the repaint wave. Not all, just some.

The Scuba Clone is one figure I have never seen on the pegs. Hoepfully I can track one down at some point.

BUt the plpayer is still solving a murder, right??? Hopefully that doesnt change. The nonsense back stories to the characters are just that, nonsense.

Katie Holmes was the weakest link in Batman Begins though. She looked like she was 19 playing the assistant D.A. She looked like Bruce Waynes daughter more than she looked like his girlfriend. At least Maggie looks like they are closer in age.

The Toy Fair is the annual convention in New York. Think Fair, like Carnival.  The magazine is Toyfare. Fare like a menu.

Anyways, this is a pretty decent exclusive. I am guessing $15.00. The single carded figures were 15 last year (like the McQuarrie Luke from CIV). Except for R2-KT which was 10, but that was a whole different story.

The hype for Batman in 89 seemed bigger. It seemed to eclipse everything else that year. This time, to me anyways, there is alot of hype, but there are plenty of other things going on too.

I dont think it was a secret at all that Robert Downey would be appearing in the Hulk.

Are they doing the weekends at the California park too?

Sadly, we have never had a Star Wars weekend here on the West Coast. Maybe someday....

I saw Narnia:Prince Caspian. I thought it was good. Not as good as Iron Man. But still an enjoyable movie. Plenty of battle scenes and stuff.  We will have to wait and see how well the movie does. The three part threes from last summer were all released in May and all hit $300 million, so it has a chance. But the one I am looking forward to is Indy.

Correct. Iron Man opens May 2. Or tomorrow night in some places will start showing it at 8 pm.
