Anton, regarding your spoiler (i know you didnt write the story), but what writer would have thought that that was a good idea to begin with?? That would totally change the idea of Kirk being crafty and resourceful to being essentially a space ****.

I thought the trailer looked pretty good. Yeah, he looks old. But the movie still looks like a lot of fun.

I still pick up this line from time to time when they release figures I dont already have. Like Fire and Ice. What is annoying is the three packs that always have more Batmen and Superman with one or two new figures. I dont need the extras!! I know they are cheap enough. But save some plastic. And release them all single-carded.

Will it recognize country names from the 1980s?  It's been a long time since I took world geography and many, many of the country names have changed since then.

It is the current country names. For example, Yugoslavia is not there.

Capt. Yoda, did they have coins (the repacks) or stands?  Just curious...  I still need Pax Bonkik's coin and Holo Vader's coin.  Saw some 7.5 the other night, but of all things they were the ones people just sent me coins for the other day. :)  Not the odder figures int he lot like Pax, or the red naboo guy, or Vader.  You'd think they'd be the tougher scores.

Most of them had coins.

A local Wal-Mart here in the OC (Orange County, CA) had some of this wave. I picked up the Po Nudo and 2-1B. They were in those cardboard trays packed with wave 7.5 and 8 figures. Including the McQ Rebel Trooper, Hawkbat Clone, Jango. I did not see the Mustafar droid, Kashyyk trooper or the Tri-Droid. The ones that did have from wave one, they had one of each.

I have a hard time believing this will be only $10 if it is ever released in the US. The Shadow Stormtrooper from Star Wars Shop was like 13 dollars, and the concept Greivous was 16. This set, IF released here in the states, will probably be $20 easy.

Would people really go for another actor playing Indy? I just wouldn't be the same. I agree harrison Ford looks kind of old. But to see someone else would just not be Indy to me.

And if you really want to see whiny, re-watch the Goonies. I can't believe I once enjoyed that movie. I think 90% of the dialogue in that movie was just kids screaming.

Thanks for the heads up Dressel... just ordered two McQuarrie Obi Wan/Yodas for $23.98 shipped.   :)

Why oh Why did I buy these at CIV?
 ;D
..

I believe that was Comic Con. But I agree. It cost more to get them then, than it does now.

Luckily I have never had the completist habit. I am an opener so that helps. These sets are cool for those that need them. For me it is an easy pass.

Picked up the Ewok 2-pack from my local Wally last night. Nothing else from that wave was there except for Artoo.
