What can I say but thanks?  Even if he only sold it to me to shut me up! :)

He's a great guy, and always willing to help where he can.

Finally had the pleasure of playing trading partner with the iconic wonder known as OCB.  Fortunately for him, he didn't disappoint.  Quick payment, and reasonably pleasant correspondence - at least as pleasant as can be expected with a Vikings/T-Wolves/Twinkies fan!   :P   Therefore, I suppose I'm willing to risk my entire trading rep by offering this good fella my highest recommendation to all for their trading needs...  Thanks Scott!   :-*

Holy crud Batman.

Scott and I have a weird trading relationship.  He's one of the first guys that stepped up and risked trading with a Canucklehead that intruded at another forums Minnesota thread and we've now been trading for a whilte.

But it has evolved to the point where we don't really do a good job of delineating what each other is getting.  Just sort of brief suggestions or questions and things get sent, sometimes knowing something won't come in return for a while.

Well, Scott topped all that by sending me a pile of stuff for basically nada.  Couple extra Simpsons figures, some free vinty figures (some, heh, try 30 :o), great deal on Moe's Tavern and my beloved Frankenberry (lunch was very good - urp).

But...

He sent me the Goliath (Marvel Legends chase figure) for nothing as a surprise.  Obviously I owe him huge and mere feedback is not satisfactory.

Scott is a great trader, packing is great, communications are first rate and shipping is quick.  Above all that he is a considerate and extraordinarily helpful fellow.  Goliath.  Unreal. :)

I just completed my first transaction with Scott, and it went great.  He was kind enough to help me attain the Santa Yoda, that I was unable to get.  The fan club doesn't accept the credit card that my wife and I have (they accept Visa/Mastercard only), and he was willing to order one and have it shipped directly to me.  I just received it this morning, in time to have it on display for Christmas :).  Don't hesitate to do any business or trading with Scott.  Thanks so much Scott for all of your help.  Have a great holiday season!

Always a pleasure with mr. Scott.   Lots of stuff in the box, or boxes, in this case.  I always feel like I owe Scott more than I send.  That's good and bad at the same time.

Still, no worries here and Waldorf and Statler arrived at precisely the right time as my wife is feeling a little low.  Those ugly old bastages should put a smile on her face later today.  Thanks.

Another one in the books with Old Cooky.  No problems with Scott here, other than the fact that he gave me some additional crap that I didn't ask for...   ::)

Despite that, I'd probably still deal with him again anyway...   :P   You might want to as well, especially if you collect sports figures from loser franchises that have never made it out of the first round!  The tiger print thong I sent him was a much nicer extra than the garbage that I received from him in return.  Oh well, it's the thought that counts, I suppose...   :-\

Affectionately,

- Matt

Received a very nice box from a bad man.  A very, very bad man.  Some wonderful items packed in there, many of which I actually needed :P  But as soon as I picked up the box, I knew that Scott had a plan.

He wants someone else to fall for the Mighty Beanz lure.  To that end he sent me several of them.  I could hear the damn things rattling as soon as the post office lady brought it out.  She certainly got a good chuckle out of the expression on my face when she set the box down >:(  Scott will now be known to me as FB, at least at the post office.

Oh sure, everything else in the box was exceptional in terms of condition and packing, but that's the usual.

Bad man.  Very bad man. :-*

Just completed another transaction with our boy Scott here.  It couldn't have gone any better.  He was nice enough to hook me up with the lone MOTU figure I wanted to get, Roboto, and was even nice enough to contact me about it in the first place.  Great communication, great packing, fast shipping...and even as a bonus he threw in four X-Men Mighty Beanz.  A heck of a guy, don't hesitate to do business with OCB.  Even if he does start you thinking about a new collection  ::)
Title: Re: OCB's feedback

Well, Scott recently threatened that if I didn't start leaving feedback, that he'd have me banned from the forum, so here goes:

Scott Pearson is a gentleman and a scholar.

We've traded several times over the last few months, and Scott has hooked me up with everything from the ultra-rare Tanus Spijek, to some empty Hasbro shipping cases, to a magazine which contained a photo of my old roommate's bare-naked ass.

All he typically asks in return are some old, non-special edition DVDs, which really aren't worth anything to me, anyway.  Or maybe some burned-CDs (same deal).

I will continue to deal with Scott until the time arises that he wakes up and realizes that he's getting duped.

Thanks, Scott!  Love you!

Well, Scott finally wised up, and made me pay him actual "money" for Star Wars stuff, instead of crappy old DVDs and CDs, but it was still a brilliant transaction regardless.

Finished off my Saga '04 collection, and he sent me two empty Hasbro shipping cases to boot.

I am honored to start off Page 3 of his feedback thread.

Thanks, Scott.

Scott the pusher is at it again.  I never know where I stand with Scott, all sorts of crap in the box I have no recollection of asking for but seem to have received nonetheless.  A quality trader no doubt, but what is up with all this stuff?  Guess it's time to start hunting for bizarre stuff to send with your next bottle of medicine.  A pleasure, sir.   :)

Yes, Scott and I traded the same figure to each other but it was way more complex than it sounds. :P

Anyway, it went well and Scott was good with his end of the deal, as he always is.

(plus, there were no "extra" Kubricks that he just "happened" to have to sell me this time, so I got off cheap...)

Big, old box arrived from Scott today, who was kind and helpful to assist with my needs for army building and #41-44.  Haven't opened the box yet, so I'm a little nervous as to what might be in there in addition.

Funny thing, chuckles sends me a bigger, heavier box and it arrives same day.  Scott's box gets opened and I get customs fees assessed (not much $).  Where's the logic?  Oh right, government has no logic.  Goofy **** this is.

My good pal Scotty was quick to pay me for the latest batch of Kubricks I've got for him.

Always a pleasure when dealing with this fine fellow Minnesotan.  ;)

Thanks to Scott for buying up some of my excess Series 5 Kubricks, and thanks too for acting as the go-between on the deal with Simon.   ;)

I don't even know where to begin on this one.  So very much stuff and even some Boo Berry for my daughter.  A great guy and about the only negative thing I can say is I've only met him once in person.  Thanks Scott.

Whoops, forgot to express my love for Scott's fine trading skillz recently...  Traded me one of his chase Kubies for some crap I had lyin' around the house (including some Pimp Daddy wash).  Good stuff, as always with Mr. Cocky.  Thanks!

Thanks for the extra Appo tonight Scott!!  Glad you could make the trip from Kato to join the rest of us.  And, NO I don't want your extra's even though you had me tempted at one point.   ;)  Maybe you should have became a car salesman instead of a chemical engineer.

Cleaning up some old PMs, I realized I forgot to leave feedback for our recent deal.  Scott helped me complete my '06 Saga collection by mailing me a figure from the deep South.

Thanks again Scotty.   :)

Wow, over 4 months since this thread got posted to?  Sheesh, Scott's turned into a sorry-ass trader in his old age...  ::)

But at least he sent me a quick payment for some McQuarrie swag I sent him, so no complaints here.  Thanks, Cocky.

Humungous thanks goin’ out to my good friend Ol’ Cocky here, for a hook-up of epic proportions!  Been around the trading boards for many years, and the box full of beautifully packed HTF swag that Scott just helped me out with (at cost) is the likes of which I’ve rarely, if ever, seen on the boards.  I can only imagine that he must’ve done it to honor the 10 year anniversary of my creation of the famous Minnesota Collector’s Club.  Probably a fair trade, now that I think about it.  Regardless, my TVC collection thanks you for making it nearly complete again!  It’s also nice to finally have OCB provide me with some figures other than ICMG, a variant Hoth Han, and a beat-all-to-**** Kitik!  I definitely owe you one buddy…   :-*
