Thanks for the info, Jeff!  I was wondering if there might be some chase figures from this series, but since it's based on a box set, it looks like I don't have to worry about that.

I've still got a set of Medicom Batman Series 1 Kubricks for sale.  The set contains the following figures (6 figures total):

1x Batman (Modern)
1x Robin (Tim Drake)
1x Batgirl
1x Azrael
1x Scarecrow
1x Mr. Freeze

The figures are from the Japanese Series 1 release and are NOT from the more common DC Direct box set.  All six figures are still sealed in the original Medicom baggie and each figure comes with an original Medicom Batman Series 1 box and insert.

Price is $30 shipped for anyone who is interested...

I've still got this extra set of Bat-Kubricks for sale... any takers at $24 shipped?

Congrats!

I've managed to stay away from MArvel Kubricks (just can't afford to collect everything).

I was considering trying to do the X-Men only, but then I saw the prices for some of the series 1 X-figures and the chase Nightcrawler and decided to stick to DC Kuby for now.   :P

Speaking of DC, the Batman Begins set is starting to hit ebay at a $33 price range...

Anyone grab it yet?  I'm waiting for the price to come down before I jump on this one...

I just sold my extra Begins set!
If the guy doesn`t want it, I`ll let you know.
They worked out to about 30 bucks after shipping for me. I only got 2, but
I should have gotten a few more, 30+ 3.85 shipping sure beats 33 plus
15+ shipping from overseas.

I have a few loose pics of the set here:

So far I`ve only seen the singles. Hoping for a box set too!
I emailed RoBby awhile back about it, but they didn`t know yet.

It looks like Medicom is releasing X-Men Kubricks - Series 1 looks pretty sweet since both Xavier and Magneto are included.

Dangerously tempting.

Yep, they were Diamond exclusives, along with the 400% Batman.
Not sure how well they sold, but I don`t think they did great. They also offered
the last Marvel series. The price on the box sets (Spiderman and X-Men sets
both had MSRP of 40 bucks! ) turned people off I think. Seeing as how the DC
Direct Batman set was only 29.99 and didn`t sell all that great, I think they
should have tried to keep them under 30.

The box sets also used alternate colors for the characters that to me just didn't look right.  I liked the X-Men box set a little better (even with the glossy purple Magnus), but the sheen on the Batman figures just was not appealing to me.

Gregorbian: The Halo 2 Kubrick was an exclusive/hard to get, which is why it's so high.  They're slowly dropping down in price some (used to be about $200, I got mine at ~$45).  They're very cool - I'd be tempted to army-build if they were cheaper.  :)

The first shot is obviously just on the shelf, the second a close-up so you can see the body better.  The Gingerbread Man is holding his alternate gun.

EDIT: Even better pics of the Halo 2 Kubrick.

The repaint I liked the best was the Yellow Daredevil, love it!
Yeah, those Halo kubs took a dip after a bunch were sold/given at a show
a month or two ago I think. Another one to add to my want list.
Heres a pic of my marvel/dc shelf (needs to be updated a bit though)

I`ve since added a 400% Spidey to the mix and the Venom/Punisher chase
from my post above.

I have more pics here:
http://www.essentialcomics.com/adam/collection.htm      and here:
http://www.imatoygeek.com/galleries/ajm.html

The first one is way out of date, but shows a good assortment.

Yeah, the 'classic' Daredevil and the Punisher in Trench Coat make the Spidey pack fairly tempting.  I see we've got most of the same Marvel figs, except that you've got Scarlet Spidey and Morph too.  I must admit that the suction cups with the Spideys were a nice touch - I like attaching them to things around my office.  And I'm jealous of the Batman movie collection with the missile-firing penguin hidden in the background.  I've got a crush on that, and that's my next purchase when the price heads down.

Where's the Supergirl/Superman from?  I don't think I've ever seen that nor heard of it (I've been building a checklist)... a little retro, but nice.

Pics of the FF Movie Thing and Invisible Woman:

(1st pick a simple line-up with Sugar Pon, 2nd pic w/ Marvel Legends Galactus wielding Silver Surfer and Sugar Pon's oddly in scale gun.)
I've been contemplating getting the movie Mr. Fantastic for the darker/matching suit, but I don't like the mostly-human Torch as much.   :-\

Very cool!
I`m holding off on the FF figs, hoping for a box set of them.
Need Thing and Sue for sure though.

The Superman figs are bootlegs made by Kamiru, I have a Batman set
too I got a little while ago. Hoping with the Supes movie next year that
Medicom will put out a legit Superman set.
Kamiru made the bootleg Star Wars sets as well. I only have the Biker Scout
and Clones from the SW line though.

Galactus looks great holding SS!  :D

I love the Batman Movie set, I got it from Toy Tokyo when they first got them.
I was going to wait, but had some eBay $$ burning a hole in my pocket  ;D

Juggernaut, Hobgoblin & Capt. America are in my Top Ten for Kubs (kubs other
than SW That is, heh)

Wow, he looks so cool!  Thanks for the pics zachdms!
I really can't drop $40-$50 on that Master Chief Kubrick, does anybody think there's a chance they will re-release the Master Chief Kubrick in wide distribution?  Sometimes rehashes are good!  Give him a different paint job or something, please!  :P
