Right now I'm listening to the new Travis CD, 12 Memories, and Kathleen Edwards debut, Failer, which is absolutely incredible.  I'm really looking forward to the Johnny Cash set, as well as Coldplay.

Carded ROTK Series 4, or I guess LOTR Trilogy Series 1.  With new cheap as we can make it packaging!  Still, the figures are fantastic, with the exception of Legolas, who looks like a repack.  I think.

You said it, Jesse.  It could also be a manufacturing goof that ends up paying dividends, but who knows.

Yeah, this is one of those moments as a SW diehard where you go, "Do I really need it?"  I want a Red Leader figure, but if I have to plunk down $45 on a ship I already have for him, then nah.  More power to them, though.

I think OCB is on to something.  Although it would seem Hasbro will pass up a perfect opportunity to release the CD Rom Bespin Vader from a few years back.

 ;D ;D ;D

So far Hasbro is hitting all home runs in 2004.  This is a great bunch of figs.  I kind of like Luke, but yeah, he could be a little more blue.  J'Quille is fantastic, as is Elom, and along with Rappertunie are my favorites.  It's all good.

I also got a Prologue Elf today and was disappointed to find no Merry & Pippin 2 packs among those at KB.  Makes me wonder if Wal Mart was the pnly place that particular repack showed up.

I'm a bit surprised they haven't made more about the prophecy now that Spike is on the show.  Clearly Angel was the vampire of the prophecy, but now with Spike and his soul and his quasi-ghostiness, Angel can't be sure, and neither can we, I suppose.

I wouldn't hold my breath for TW Frodo.  TopJedi's right, Ebay will probably be your best bet.

Jadesfire, Merry is supposed to (crosses fingers) come in the subsequent wave along with the King of the Dead, the Armored Witchking, and someone else I'm forgetting.  I'm excited about him, too.

A Naboo TRU 4 pack would be a great way to drop Trophy Obi Wan and OOM-9, as well as the Battle Amidala and Sio Bibble.  I think anyway we can get these would be nice.

The only problem with that list - not that I'm complaining - is the frequency of Lukes.  Those are all figs I want, but Hasbro wouldn't want to put all its Luke eggs in one basket, considering how much longer this line will likely continue.  That we're getting three so early in the year still amazes me.

Yeah, from the sounds of it, the ROTK line ends basically as soon as the film comes out in December, replaced by the Trilogy line, which includes ROTK Series 4.   What will be interesting to see is if TB pushes the ROTK assortments with the FOTR and TTT ones in support, or if stores are going to devote a lot of shelf space they haven't before to a film that's over with.
