What would everyone's opinions be if Hasbro decided to go nuts and product three more waves of Modern Vintage figures?  I might have mixed feelings about it, but here's some figures I would like to see them make for this if it came true:

WAVE 4 (ANH)

- Grand Moff Tarkin
- Tusken Raider
- Owen Lars

WAVE 5 (ESB)

- Luke Skywalker (Bespin duel)
- Admiral Piett
- Han Solo (precarbon)

WAVE 6 (ROTJ)

- Emperor Palpatine (silk robe)
- Royal Guard (silk robe)
- Bib Fortuna
- Scout Trooper

Thoughts or ideas?

 

With all the supposed vehicles now coming out in this OTC line, I think it would have been great to see a new Snowspeeder on that list, with an all new Snowspeeder Luke.

And then to see an all new generic Snowspeeder pilot released in the regular carded line.

 

Cool topic, here's my choices:

Anakin - Secret Ceremony with a custom right hand that is articulated

Obi Wan - Outlander Club with a new custom right hand that isn't pointing and an articulated left hand too

Padme - Factory Chase with a custom Padme head from the EPI line with repainted hair

Mace Windu - hmmm, a custom job all the way with the Deluxe Windu body, two Kit Fisto right arms, custom hands from the CW Windu (would be an awesome kit bash for Hasbro)

Dooku - Geonosian Escape

Yoda - 2-pk version

Zam - SAGA version

Jango Fett - removable head version

Clone Trooper - SA of course!

 

I sure as heck do.  Isn't this a totally neglected figure by Hasbro?  The buff POTF2 version is a piece of junk, and when the reissued it with the POTJ Snowspeeder they weren't doing anyone any favors.

I think it's time for a super articulated, well sculpted version of a Snowspeeder Luke.  And a Wedge/Dak should be made as well.

I've been so lucky in finding everything, even Tanus Spijek.  My Dutch Vander army is up to five now, and I am going to be doing some head swaps very soon, starting with Wedge.

Overall in my area, new SW sells out so faster than ever it seems.  Except for those blasted Hoth Troopers clogging the pegs at every Target in the land.  Other than that and a few R3POs, new stuff sells fast.  My TRU's though still have a ton of the first wave of AOTC figures.  Damn overproduction!!!

Yeah, I think it's definitely time for a new wave of cantina patrons.  My way of doing it would be for two more Tatooine waves, mixing characters from the prequels too though. Perhaps each wave would have four new figures and be something like this:

WAVE 1

- CZ Droid X3
- Hem Dazon X3
- Tonnika Sister #1 X3
- Graga (TPM Mos Espa Merchant) X3

WAVE 2

- Myo the Cyclops X3
- Hrcheck Kal Fas X3
- Tonnika Sister #2 X3
- Bib Fortuna (TPM Podrace) X3

The Tonnika sisters would just be simple repaints in the color variation of the outfit to save Hasbro their hard earned money.

I am pretty happy with what he have gotten from Jabba's Palace recently, but there certainly additions I would like to see in the line soon.  I doubt we will see any of these though until after the EPIII line starts integrating into the other movies:

- Ishi Tib
- Rock Wart
- Sgt Doallyn
- Hermie Odle
- Oola resculpt
- Malaki resculpt
- Yarna the lard dancer
- Weequay 2nd Skiff Guard

Also I would love to see some sort of Sarlacc Pit playset like suggested by Jesse.  And someday, somehow, I am going to buy one of those mammoth Sail Barges listed on ebay.  I doubt Hasbro is ever going to offer such an item (and if they do it wouldn't be as detailed anyway).  And the reason I didn't pick for Bib Fortuna to be redone is b/c I really, really like the custom I did of one.  And I think a TPM version needs to be made first anyway.
