Title: Clone Wars Poster(s)
Post by: aka DaBigKahuna on January 3, 2004, 02:45 PM: Did anyone get one of these either from the Con or JMP Auctions? If you one won from the JMP Auctions, have you received yours?

What are the demensions as I want to get a frame for this.

Sorry, but no can do Matt. Picked the second copy up for a buddy who had specifically asked for some assistance with it prior to the Con. So you'll have to pry it off of BigDumbWookiee instead, which I highly doubt would be possible. Right Adam? ;)

But did you win one of these from the JMP auctions Matt? If so, that's pretty cool!

Only 150, also won a Sacul, hopefully the white beard version. I will be thrilled to get the TF Vader, Sacul, and Clone Wars Poster for $120 including all the shiping I did.

I e-mailed Hasbro ahead and they stated the points just have to be in English. By that criteria the tri-logo points should work. We will see...

Wow! Not bad at all. If I recall correctly, these posters were going for up to $100 on eBay shortly after the Comic Con, so you got a pretty good deal there! No idea what they're going for now, but I was shocked when people were pointing out how crazy these things were on the 'Bay. There's a thread somewhere over at RS about it. That's where I heard about the insanity.

Regardless, it's a pretty cool poster!

Possible that it's only 24" high, and that my tape measure tacked on an extra half inch when I measured it inside the box I've got it stored in. Maybe Jimmy can confirm for you again... ;)

It must be 18x24 because I went to Michaels and that is the size of the frame.

I can't imagine that Hyperspace would oversize these so they could not fit in this standard poster frame.

hope you get yours soon!! this is one awesome poster!! and it goes nicely with the other clone wars poster i got from a friend who works on the trains... they had some advertising campaign in the train cars and were putting up these nice 21" wide x 33" tall (odd size, isn't it?) heavy card stock posters, and he managed to snag me one. i'll get a pic later if you want to take a peek ;D

I'm a bit wary to order posters off of SWShop.com though, with the experiences that some have had. I had hoped to order both this and the ROTS poster through there, but maybe that isn't the best idea. I'd like to pick up the older Clone Wars poster that is available there as well, I really like the artwork and this series overall, and I think the posters would look nice. If I only had the wallspace for all of these ;). I still want to get the Special Edition posters as well.

Well the good thing is if they mess up SWS.com will send you a replacement or at the very least refund you so you will at least get a non-mint one for free.

I am leaning towards getting this poster of series 1 below as it is more in the style of posters #2 & #3. Also, poster #1 is a weird size so you will have to get it matted to fit in a frame.

The series #1 Poster below is 27X40 and there are several on ebaY currently. Apparently these were only sent to Comic Stores.

Still no poster up at SWS.com >:(.

My nephew just picked me up this free poster at the video store. I didn't plan on getting one of these but I'm glad he got me one since I really like it now that I've seen it in person. Off to the frame farm!!

2) Season 1 - Very hard to get!

3) Season 2 - Equally as hard to get as the Season 1 Poster. This poster was available only for a day or two on starwarsshop.com, apparently created for the crew of the show.

The picture of this poster is the small thumb image on the left, for a close up click on the "Pics" link in my signature.

3) Volume 2 - the current offering from starwarsshop.com

4) DVD Release Poster
