I got my set today, and though my Luke seems to be much better on the paint apps than average, I agree. I am a bigger 5 POA fan than SA, which is why i dread the possible end of that line. The new DS Gunner is a prime example of articulation gone amok. It just doesn't look right. A lot of this is seamless now, like with the new Stormtrooper, so this is curious. I've been lobbying for years for a happy medium on articulation, but Hasbro is not interested in that at all. They're doing amazing work overall, with lots of legendary figures recently like Yak Face (some of the 5 POA Solo figures, Moloch, Quay Tolsite, as well) and hopefully the QA concerns with this wave are just a blip.

I expect the other six at the least, along with one or two more expansions into the 'What If' category (Wedge, Slave Leia, etc.). The vac metal issue is a great point, though. That may present some problems. Though the Droids fans among us might appreciate less shiny versions of 3-PO/R2. Next year being the ESB anniversary we'll likely see more of these from that film.

If 3.75 gets squeezed to TVC, which simply doesn't and won't have the breadth the 5POA line does, it's probably not long before the credits roll on this segment. It would be my cue to exit also.

The boxed idea is great!

I didn't order either, but i have to say I'm enjoying myself right now. I feel a twinge of regret passing it up, but it remains I have nowhere to put it/other priorities. Still, I look forward to all the pics and fun people have with it.
