Along the lines of your milk delivery story, I used to deliver newspapers.  I usually delivered the Sunday ads on Saturday evening when the arrived at my house, which was against the rules but everyone tipped me better to do it.  One of my customers, a very cute girl in her 20s (I'm around 14 at the time) lived in a duplex with her entry door in the back of the house.  On the left was the door into the kitchen, and on the right was a large glass pane that looked into the living room.  There was a steep hillside at the back of the home and high fences on either side, so the porch was very private.  Well one evening I'm delivering the Sunday ads.  I walk around the back of the house, pass the window, drop the paper on the doorstep, start walking back and glance in the window.  She's walking around.  Topless.  Tiny string bikini panties.  She walked back and forth two or three times and then sat on the couch and started watching TV.  And I was frozen like a deer in the headlights.  She didn't even notice me.  It was the longest and happiest 15 seconds of my young life.

Happy Birthday, Rob.  I know it's your favorite day of the year.

I received a review copy of Soul Calibur IV, which I obligatorily reviewed.  You can read it here:

I liked the game a lot.  I haven't gotten too deep into it yet, but so far it's been impressive.

Isn't Philip Seymour Hoffman a little low-key to play the Penguin?  I never really had a good grasp on the Penguin's character anyway.  He's an aristocratic thief or something?  He always seemed like he was pretty lively, which I've never seen Hoffman pull off.

The Joker as an anarchist fit well into the dark, modern Batman.  And I think the Riddler as a psychotic bent on some quest would work as well.  It's more of a stretch... "Why if this guy really wants to get away with it does he leave these crazy clues?"  But it's doable.  But what purpose could the Penguin serve?

You can snag Assassin's Creed for less than $25 off of eBay right now.  That's a pretty cheap way to tide yourself over until LBP.

It was a cost savings decision.  The PS3 needed to include one of the graphic chips from the PS2 to offer backward compatibility.    By removing that chip, they save money building the newer PS3s.  Their market research showed most people don't use the feature, so it made sense.

If you can track down the Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle somewhere, that's an 80-Gig that still has backward compatibility.  They're sold out in most places,  but people have said they're still finding them at low-traffic stores like Kmarts and stores off the beaten path.

There's a rumor out there that they're working on a patch that'll allow full software emulation of PS2 games.  But I don't know if it's reliable or not.

You're the first person I've even known not to find Scarlett Johansson to be stunning.

Red Sonja has already been cast for that film:

She'd be good, but I picture the new Catwoman as younger.

I could see that happening post-Oscars if Ledger gets consideration.  Still... $100 million is steep for a re-release.
