The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII
« on: December 12, 2012, 11:10 PM »
Make Mace Windu be the villain because he believes the Skywalker line is destined for evil and must be destroyed. He dies in like the second one but his prophecy comes true as Luke's son turns evil.

Writes itself, really.  :D

The biggest flaw I saw is that Pa Kent would never suggest that Clark let anyone die. Come on.

I think the B-A-D waves were lie, only existing as mocik-ups, and Hasbro thought thought that Dec. 21 is the end of the world, but now are covering their butts as folks have noticed there's no new product to pre-order.  :P

I've missed a lot of figures I want from Vintage, so it's good to get more chances, but the bummer is that the 2 announced Legacy waves are so lackluster, that it's gonna be awhile before there's any new-new figures to look forward to.  :-\

Yeah.  The absence of the Imperial Naval Commander and Emporer's Royal Guard are pretty glaring if you're going to call this wave "Fan Favorites".

And Darth Malgus and Echo Base Trooper

I recall something from the ESB era...less generic space base and more environmental specfic from that film Dagobah and/or Hoth. Saw it online.

Not as big and sturdy as the Star Wars one.

When did Mark Hamill become the Unabomber?

After he returned to Kenobi's house and discovered Obi-Wan's anti-technology manifesto.

Yeah, it kinda sucked and felt almost entirely like filler. The totally barren planet was almost interesting for about 5 mintues. Waaaay to much dialouge between the Colonel and pit droid....hell, it was almost a radio show, you could close your eyes and you wouldn't miss anything...maybe the comets. And joke talk about suicide? For saturday morning?

What did we learn, that the stuffy colonel can adapt? That Astromechs are smarter than pit droid and little loud mouths? I think we got that last time.

I think I used it.

Naboo Pilot is $3.99. Wow. That's cheap.

Vengeance on whom? We've never seen this guy before. And even a new actor playing an old character it doesn't work.  I'M GONNA GET EVEN WITH YOU...REMEMBER WHEN I WAS RICARDO MONTALBAN? (I don't know who CuCumberbatch is supposed to be) It just doesn't work. That's why the original Spock was needed for the previous movie.

Actually, the revenge angle gets old.

Thos Mariah pictures remind me of the classic XMas song AC/DC's "I want a mistress for Christmas"

I dislike Xmas at this point in my life and most Xmas music in general. But anything Jingle Cats. The novelty wears off after 2 songs and then I never want to hear it again.

They need to ease up on the cannon/walker fodder a little. This thing running into new people or vice-versa every other episode just so some one disposable can get shot or eaten is tedious. Think about, this season is half over and they've encounted 3 other groups of survivors (Woodbury, Prisoners, Tyreese's group) and one loner (hermit). I'm not even counting the national guard, since only the Governer's people really "met" them. All of last season they encountered 2 (the farm and bar jerks' crew) and one loner (Michonne...barely).

Lot of naysaying for a movie that's barely, or maybe not really in preproduction. I'd just as soon they use Darkseid rather than save him for a sequel that may not happen. Look at Superman Returns...there was stuff they were saving for a sequel that was never made.

There's no rule that a lead villain can't return for a sequel, either...though Avengers, aside, you'd get that impression.

Spoiler: If you caught the Talking Dead preview for the next episode (in february), it looks like Tyrese's pals are headed in the death wish direction.

Yeah...Oscar, we hardly knew ya. I almost thought Andrea was gonna kill him.

Tyrese and friends literally walk into the story. Wonder how that part of the prison was destroyed. For a second I thought that the opening may have been  set in future, sometimes after a confrontation between the Woodburies and Rick's people...but not the case.

Governor got Michowned! HA!

Andrea...an tool as usual.

Did Daryl let himself be captured?
