Reminds me of the time I almost got to go myself.

I have a case of wave 2 from NFC on the way that I no longer need and wanted to offer it up to anyone who might still be in need. Unless there was a change, the case will include 2 of each of wave 2.

Cost is $87 shipped domestic. ($71.99 original case cost, plus $9.95 original shipping cost plus $5 to ship to you. I'm covering half the shipping.)  International shipping will be cost minus $5.

Case is scheduled to arrive at my house on May 15th. As soon as the case arrives, I will verify that it is wave 2 and not wave 2.5 before completing the transaction.

I'm not really set up to receive money via paypal, at least I don't think I am, so Check or MO will have to do.

First, apologies for this not being a picture showing off post, I know that's a disappointment sometimes.

That caveatted, I need some expert help. I went to RS, but they told me to get the heck out, so I can here. 

I want to make an Imperial Army troop Captain and have few questions. I'd be making 4, each commanding a company. I know that in some cases, Captains wear the outfit of the unit he's in charge of, but for my army I want my Captains in Tunics.

Given the available sculpts/materials, what would you guys suggest?

Ideally, what would an official Army Captain look like, i.e. uniform color and rank insignia?

I'm leaning toward using a Veers, with armor, painted black. I've painted one, but the Armor blends in too much, what would one suggest to make it "pop?" I'm also cheating with the ranks. Since my lieutenants are going to wear 4 pip squares (taken from Jerjerrod's rank insignia,) I'm simply going to remove a pair of pips from my Veers' to make my "Captain" rank insignia. Would this over all configuration (rank and figure color) work?

I was wondering what the current state of the SW shelves were around the country/continent/world. The holiday season is always an interesting time of year and I wonder what's happing in your neck of the woods.

Although I'm caught up with my collection, I've still been finding myself in the stores picking up odds and ends for Monday and stop in the toy section for curiosity. One weird thing I noticed that is in one day, about 10 Mid-sized vehicles that had been sitting for weeks were gone along with half of the SW figures. At another store, the only figure on the shelf was about 6 Boushh's and there's been no sign of re-stocking anywhere. Seems SW is getting pretty low.

What's it like for you?

I guess it's time to start one of these up.

A public service announcement:

I was replacing some of my POTF2 figures in my Vintage/Modern display with the new Endor figures. Although I did not ad 3PO to the display, I added his stand and in doing so, had to lift my TRU Exclusive C3PO that came with a coin. I was disappointed to feel and see that the chrome finish was flaking off.

Was just wondering if others we encountering the same thing.
