LEGO / Lego 2020

Just curious how many people are still going strong with Lego Star Wars?

For many years I purchased nearly everything they made, but its been awhile since I purchased a set.  The little sets seem less interesting (lots of rehash), and I've been struggling to find any sort of reasonable discount for the larger sets that seem to keep getting more and more expensive.  Plus I've long since run out of space.

I did see the 2020 advent calendars the other day at Target.  I used to get these religiously but stopped getting these a couple of years ago too.  The kids were pretty bored with them too.

Anybody know when "Mando Mondays" officially start?  I didn't see anything come across this Monday. I might not be following the right social media stuff, although I did check Yakface and other places that tend to post/retweet interesting news.

Jayson has been hinting at these for some time and the images have finally been posted on Yakface.

I believe he talked about three different ones, so there might be another revealed soon.

Jayson states the responses he is seeing on Twitter are mostly positive.

I'm positive that I'll be passing on these.

Other Toy Lines / HasLab HeroQuest

Anybody ever play the classic HeroQuest from the '80s?  I played D&D for a few years, but never tried HeroQuest.

The new kickstarter from Hasbro seems interesting.  I'm tempted to fund it and see if my kids might get in to it a bit and get their face out of their iPad/Xbox screens for a bit.

Please let me know your thoughts on the classic version.

I'm not sure how legit this is, but Nerdist was talking about the possibility of a Lando series. 

While Lando isn't my favorite character, I think this could certainly be as entertaining as The Mandalorian. 

I'd still love to see a Han Solo series, but heck, a "Scoundrels" series that moves between several main characters (Han, Lando, etc.) would be cool.

Maybe Jayson will drop a few hints and let us guess???

The Black Series 6" Figures / Target Star Wars Galaxy's Edge 6" Exclusives

Yakface is reporting that three Disney parks exclusive Black Series are coming to Target, along with some other goodies.  Great work Jayson!

The following are going to be sold as individual figures, not as part of larger three packs with repacks like they do at the parks.
- Hondo Ohnaka
- Mountain Trooper
- Captain Cardinal

The first two have been offered at the parks, but I'm unfamiliar with Captain Cardinal. 

No word if these will be at all Targets or just the ones that are Disney stores within a Target.

Yakface reported that the GameStop exclusive Stormtrooper Commander is available for pre-order. 

Based on the recent challenges of tracking these exclusives down I went ahead and pre-ordered.

The Black Series 6" Figures / Black Series 6" Collectors Mystery Box at Target

Yakface is reporting a Target exclusive 6" Black Series Mystery Box.   

$40 for the 6" mystery figure, a hat, a pin, and a comic book.

I don't really care about anything other than the figure.

Jayson, or anybody have news on what the figure is and if its going to be worth the effort to track this down?

Not sure where to put this as I'm not sure these are Galaxy of Adventures figures.

Yakface tweeted about 4" value figures for $3 each.  Available fall 2019.

Anybody have any idea what these are?  Repacks?   Salt shakers with no articulation?

Seems unlikely that we would get 5POA figures for $3 considering the cheapest they've ever been is $5 at the start of the POTF2 line.

Anybody going to pull the trigger on signing up early?  Looks like they've got a deal now where you can sign up for three years at 33% off.  That equates to about $4 a month or $141 for the three years.

I'm still a little torn on the timing for signing up as I'm not sure how much content out of the gate I'm going to care about.  I'm stoked about The Mandalorian, but I'm not sure there is going to be much else on day 1 that catches my interest.

I guess at $4 a month its not really that big of a deal even if its just to watch The Mandalorian until more Star Wars titles come available.  Looks like the new season of Clone Wars is coming February 2020, but the Obi-Wan and Cassian series don't appear likely to hit the streaming service until late 2020 or sometime in 2021.

Target announced they're going to have Disney stores within a store.

Anybody have any idea if they're going to have exclusive items in here, or just the same stuff you can buy at the Disney store in your local mall?

LEGO / Complete Set Storage?

As my kids are growing up they're not interested in keeping all of their Star Wars Legos built and in their rooms.

At this time I'm not interested in displaying these with the rest of my Star Wars collection and just want to put them in storage in the basement, although I guess I might display them at some future time.

Any recommendations on the best way to store these?
- Do I buy mega ziploc bags and store them mostly complete so I can easily reassemble them?  I know this will take up more room.
- Do I break these down in to individual blocks and put them in gallon sized ziplocs for better storage, knowing I would have to fully reassemble these in the future if I cared to display them?
