I've been sorely tempted by these 2nd wave Ewoks figures, but $80 each is a lot of scratch. They do look great, though.

I'm really liking these. I wonder if the Battle Droid will ever be available separately. I wouldn't mind having a couple of those.

Received my Cobra Officer/Trooper sets today. They feel a little cheap, but I suppose that’s just because of the softer plastic. What is nice is that the sets feature an arsenal of extra weapons. Zap’s bazooka, Short-Fuse’s mortar, and the guns from Grunt, Stalker, and Rock & Roll.

I do wish Hasbro would let us order more than two, since I never owned these figures and wouldn’t mind a couple more sets.

Got my shipping notice for Fett, and found both him and R2 in store today. I guess Threepio will end up being the hard-to-get one.

Just got in a preorder for the 3.75” Fett on the Target app just now. R2 still sold out. Says Fett will ship by the 26th so I guess that’s the release date.

Not to derail the thread, but I have a lot of Stan Solo’s products and you won’t be disappointed in any of it if you choose to buy it. I recently received Oola and Garindan and he’s cracked the Kenner code. These things are amazing. There’s a seller on eBay named onebad07 that sells them stateside and will save some money and time on shipping.

I ordered his Bantha in January and I’m still waiting for it, but they’re being shipped in batches and it takes a while for your number to come up.

Found all but Boba Fett between two local Walmarts today. I’ve only opened the Mando so far, and the cloth cape is a nice upgrade from the vinyl cape on the previous figure. Now hopefully my Fett ships soon from Amazon, but they’re telling me August now.

A few years ago I’d have been disappointed. But I’m OK with not buying a second set to keep carded now, so that’s fine. Since it’s all preordered online anyway, maybe just a white cardboard box like the old mail-in figures is all that’s necessary.

Received my preorder of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow yesterday. They look great, and painting the rivets at the shoulder and elbow really helps. Not sure if they’re metal or plastic, to be honest. They hold their weapons easily, and I’m not worried about breaking the thumbs. Speaking of weapons, included are an extra pair of nunchucks and an extra Uzi, as well as the gun, sword, and backpack from the v3 Snake Eyes for some reason.

The plastic on the legs is different that any other Joe figure I own, which is strange. It’s got a matte finish and looks weird. And also, the hole for the backpack and screw is smaller, as in it won’t fit vintage backpacks of vehicles like the CLAW or Jet Pack. The backpack included with this Storm Shadow will not fit a vintage figure, which I assume was done so that people can’t pass them off as vintage stuff. Same with the backpack included with Snake Eyes.

Still a nice set, and it’s great to get o-ring stuff again. But I’m not buying carded doubles anymore, as these came on those same godawful cards the Walmart retro figures come on, and that to me isn’t worth another $20 to keep MOC.

This is awesome. I really didn’t think it would hit any stretch goals, but I’m glad Scarlett and Ripcord were unlocked. Maybe it’s for the best the Pit Crew didn’t get unlocked. I wouldn’t mind more than one set of those. Maybe they’ll be available when the Skystriker ships. Which reminds me of the hard part- the fifteen month wait for this thing.  :P

I just backed the Skystriker today. The count was just shy of 8900 when I ordered. I’m pretty sure this will make it, but I have doubts the Scarlett, Ripcord, or Pit Crew will be part of the package. I sincerely hope Hasbro releases them in the future somehow, especially with the Cobra Pit Crew already being part.

I too had my Scare Glow canceled. And the rest of them as well, so now I’m back to stalking the website. Glad you got them!   :)

The Vintage Collection / Re: Do You Collect/Display Vehicles?
« on: October 23, 2020, 02:12 PM »
All of my stuff is packed away, save the BMF. I also collect GI Joe and MOTU, so I have a ton of vehicles. Since space is kind of a problem, something like the Barge or Razor Crest are out of the question. I’ll say that, then buy the new Castle Grayskull next year... ::)

I like that they’re releasing Grayskull in this line. It’d be incomplete without it. I have a vintage, 200x, and was lucky enough to get a Classics version on sale, so I’m sure I’ll get this one.

I’d love to see a Slime Pit in this line, but Mattel will have to release the Horde first.
