« on: July 20, 2010, 08:24 PM »Kmart has had the Y-wing and ARC-170 on clearance for $52. Today I noticed they're offering 50% all clearance toys so I picked up the Y-wing for $26. Not the steal the $4 Snowspeeder was but still much better than the $62.99 MSRP. Patience paid off!
Thanks for posting this. I went to my local KMart and found the same thing. I picked up two CW Y-wings. Didn't find the Imperial grey ARC-170 though.
But still, two for $55 and change (tax) is a GREAT deal. I'm SO glad I waited on these. I just couldn't bring myself to pay the original sticker price of $70. Now I have two for less than the price of one originally!

Yes we were discussing this at 'scum. I was amused that Hasbro's own online store has enough issues with the case assortments that they'll only sell the entire case now, so as to avoid being stuck with pegwarmers.
This should be their first clue to do a better job with the assortments.

My wife went to TRU and SCORED for me today!
I got all of wave one except C-3PO (which I had no intention of buying anyway).
Plus one each of the Cloud Car, Snowspeeder, and Blue deco TX-130 tank.
Since there is the Buy one get one half off, she was able to score the discount on them. So I ended up saving over $60 on top of getting these figures early.
Now I just have to wait until the work day is over to get home and view my goodies!!
All of the Saga Legends Blue cards were there too, but I didn't want any of them. So I passed on the Legends figs.

That's how I do it too. I used to go 5 days a week. During periods where I know it's going to be slow, I check maybe twice a week, unless I happen to be in the area.

1x Attack on Hoth with 1 AT-ST, 1 AT-ST Driver, 1 Snowtrooper
1x Defense on Hoth with 1 Laser Turret, 2 Rebel Soldiers (maybe the home for the dropped beardless trooper?)
I'm in for 3 of these if I can find them. I'll be happy to get those turrets. AS for the Rebels, I hope BOTH are the beardLESS variety. Most of the Hoth Rebel Soldiers WERE beardless, so it would make sense.
No I wonder what the price of these will be? The AT-ST set I see going for $50, since the recent AT-ST was $45 or so. That turret set should only be about $30 though. But I can see Hasbro milking it for $50. THAT would bite and make me hold off on buying more than one.

I think Hasbro ****** up and released too many Iron Man figs. They could have been fine with one comic wave and one film wave, putting out Mark I - III and the Iron Monger figures in that wave. Then come out with a wave of IM2 movie figs for the film release with the MIV - VI (or whatever) armors, Whiplash, Nick Fury and Black Widow. There may be some sales, but the line is dying fast, and it's Hasbro's fault due to the wave mix.

Agreed. I hope to get those non-IM movie figures, but at the rate they are selling here, it doesn't look good.
They should have had at least one Hammer drone in each wave. There were 4 different ones afterall, so that easily could have been milked.
I hope to get those multipacks, but I really don't need the same IM many times over, nor Nick Furys. The Furys I might be able to trade/sell, but the IM I'll have to take a hit on likely.
I'd rather have had a 4-pack of Hammer drones. Or even 3 drones and a Shield field agent. A real army building set.

Well Target is being smart about this. They know the new stuff is due to hit soon and are making room for it. Yes, that means no new stuff, or maybe a trickle. I'm fine with that. Though I would like to find a few from the last two CW waves.
I wish my local WM would clearance out some stuff to make room. And a REAL clearance, not a sticker with the full price. Shame WM, shame...
