Oi! Stupid gravity...

Rest in peace Stan.  He absolutely had a profound impact on who I am today.  My mom got me a subscription to Marvel comics when my reading was below average in 2nd grade.  By the end of 3rd grade I was at the top of the class.  There is a wonderful interview with Stan somewhere and he talks about how they purposely wrote the stories and dialogue that wouldo help develop vocab and reading comprehension in younger kids - in addition to writing fun storylines with kick butt characters.  He has definitely left his mark on the world and will be remembered for a long, long time.  Hoping they do something special with Avengers 4 to celebrate him.  Excelsior!

These are so cool.  Where did you get those?

Thanks guys.  Still have some work to do on those displays, but I'm getting there.  Can't wait to see some other pictures.  I always get good ideas from other people's layouts.

Please share pics when you get it displayed.  I put most of my stuff behind glass, but it takes up more space than you'd think.  My Falcon, B-Wing, Rebel Transport, Ewok Village, and most of my Hoth stuff is all on a separate shelf.  Maybe this will give you some ideas.  I put the figures along with variations and a few customs all along the top, but my hope is to eventually seed the ships with more figures, so they look kind of like the old school pictures on the vintage boxes.

I was hoping Venom would stop and explain to Eddie the events of Secret Wars led him there and Eddie would be like "What?"

ROTFL!  That would have been hilarious.

This was a much better send off than I expected.  I thought we'd see the end of Rick for sure at several points.  I love that we got a bit of Force-ghosting with Shane, Hershel, and even Abraham.  Only thing missing was a Glenn (or Lori) cameo, which would have made the most sense with the Maggie/Negan backstory going on.  I don't love the time jumps, and didn't like them in the comics either, but whatever.  Aged Judith looks pretty kick butt, and this allows time for the Fear crew to join up with them if they want to go that direction.  I like the potential for upcoming movies too.

SPOILER ALERT - Matt, I don't think everyone here knows the next phase of the comic storyline, so maybe ixnay on the hisperersway.

Looks like the 1st it is!

That is some shady stuff right there.  Thanks for the link - one more reason to hate exclusives.

10 is scalping this thing. I'm not talking about the 3rd party sellers, Walmart proper is selling for $31 and change. Call Walmart, call Hasbro. Protest. I know for a fact that Walmart is contractually not allowed to do this per their exclusives arrangement with Hasbro.

I can't even find it on their site.  What's it listed under?  Mimban Stormtrooper only shows up as the Figuarts figure.

Finally got around to watching the video Jesse posted.  While I don't love the paint job, the rest of this thing looks awesome.  So many cool electronics between the elevator, lights, sounds, etc.  Definitely going to pick one of these up if I get the chance.

Jman - did you drop your Star Wars subscriptions too, or just your non SW subs?

I actually dropped SW too.  I bought issue #50 by chance, but I think I stopped right around #35.  Stopped all the secondary titles as well.  I pop into the comic shop every 4-6 weeks to grab Walking Dead and Old Man Hawkeye, but that's just about it now.  I'd probably snag the missing SW comics if I found them on sale somewhere.
