As for Tracy's cool Leia plate, I think it'd be even cooler if it had her big smooch with Luke on it too, and not just Han's.  That's kinda weak to single just his kiss out like that...  >:(

Incest is not the best.  Glad they did it the way they did it, seeing as how I'm eating breakfast and all.

Justin did you pre-order any figs from Jeff. If not I'll give you dibs on my extras as I'm getting 2 boxes.

Edit: Oh, wait I think that was Series 8...regardless I'll probably get 2 boxes of Series 9 as well. You can have dibs on those too.  ;)

Sweet.  Do you know the case breakdown of either 8 or 9?  I only want certain figs, so might work out to snag your extras.  Thanks!

$20 isn't ridiculous for two beasts and a figure.

Doesn't TRU charge $30 if it's exclusive, $25 if it's not?

Well okay, now the price is ridiculous.

Hall of Justice / Re: DC Universe Classics Wave 1

Which Batgirl: Cassandra Cain or Barbara Gordon?  I guess it doesn't really matter, they've both been out already.  The black version (Cane) was out exactly the same time as the Two Face/Catwoman wave apparently.  The classic look (Gordon) was out in the two packs only as far as I recall.  It seems to be the identical sculpt to Unmasked series that came out of the Direct line a while back.

That poster is depressing to see how much never came here.  TRU was the only retailer and they got hosed with an absolutely awful case assortment that just never stopped coming.  It was always Superman/Bizzarro/Supergirl.  Always.  A smattering of the early Bat figure came, plus one box of wave 3 got put out (I scored the Azrael) but never saw the Batgirl in the box as pictured in that assortment (which did have a Robin in it btw).

I was referring to CC - forgot about the 2pack version.  I wonder if DC has any plans to rerelease these?  Seems odd to go thru the design and molding for a figure that practically no one was able to find.

That really sounds like me. I have not been feeling the ML and really enjoy the DC Classics. Since i decided to start collecting these i have been going pretty much crazy backtracking. Here is an awesome poster like checklist that someone over at Fwoosh made.

DC Checklist

I am only going for the ones i like and the list helps with that. Good luck!

That's pretty cool - thanks for sharing.  I can't read the fine print - has the wave with batgirl come and gone already?  I saw a few catwoman figs months ago, but never saw any bat chicks.

I'll throw this out to the DC fans, since I'm more of a Marvel guy myself...is Nightwing really that popular of a character?  I scanned at least three versions of him just glancing at the poster, but not a single Robin.  What gives?  I guess I've always thought of him as more of a bit character since he went solo.

$20 isn't ridiculous for two beasts and a figure.  Figure that a lot of people are paying the same amount for two figures with speederbikes.  On the flip side, there's apparently nothing new here, so not exactly what I would call a deal either.  Still planning to pass on this one.  :P

These look great.
Glad Dooku isn't a chase.

CB

If anyone is just seeking Dooku & Yoda for some reason, please let me know.  I'm interested in getting the rest of the series if someone wants to split part of the cost.

Anyone watch the 3rd episode? I just finished watching it, only thing I liked was seeing the Terminator get ready for his skin bath. The look on that poor scientist's face.  ;D

Best line: She has a medal plate in her head, a big one...  :D

I have it taped, but haven't watched it yet.  I was pretty happy with the first two, so hoping they can keep up a fast pace and strong storyline.

Just one more week until we get Lost back!  Hooray!  Anyone know how many episodes they were able to finish before the writer's strike?

The Valkyrie figure rocks - this will be a good pick up for customs.  I have no idea why she's mixed in with the Hulk set though - has she been in recent Hulk comics?

Looks like Dooku needs some help from the little blue pill :-[

Dooku looks like Don from the amazing race.  Very athletic for a 69 year old.

I was going to avoid the prequel waves, but I'm really liking this series.   :D  :-\  ???

That armor looks so sweet!  I hope the plot can keep up with the visuals in this movie...

I still think the New England's offense is going to have a field day, but I could be wrong.  It could be a close game.

Is anyone thinking the Giants could blow out the Pats?

I think there is an extremely thin chance that the Giants can beat the Pats and even if they do, it will be a close game.  I give them no chance to blow out the Pats.  That being said, I thought there was no way the Giants would beat the Packers, so who knows.  I guess that's why they play the game!

By the way, anyone see the CLONE HELMET behind the guy on the right in the second photo?

Maybe its the voice changer?

I didn't get a good look at it - is it just part of the silly kids costume thing that Target now has in the aisle on the bottom shelf?

Just another quick vote for Juno as film of the year.  I was not overly excited to go see this, but it was absolutely fantastic.  Surprisingly funny and very emotional - it was put together perfectly.  Highly recommended!

Agreed - This is a no contest for the Pats.  Sorry Giants fans, but I just don't see it.  If the Packers had made it, I would have been predicting a loss for them too.  That all being said, I will be rooting for the Giants the whole way!
