What in hell is the purpose of the thrice damned .3 second rule?! Who is that really helping? For those who don't know the .3 second rule it basically says that if there is less then .3 seconds then a team cannot gain possession of the ball during an inbound pass. Why am I complaining, you ask? Because Nazr Mohammed's freaking dunk should've counted!

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Shoes, Sneaks, Kicks - What Do You Wear?
« on: March 8, 2004, 05:10 PM »
I wear mostly Nike with some Converse, And 1 and adidas mixed in. For basketball, I use my Jordan 8's, 12's, team flows and my Nike Air Penny's. I have a pair of Dunks, Converse weapons, patent leather Jordan 1's and some Air Force 1's  for casual wear. A pair of Timberland boots for snow and other bad weather and I have a pair of Nike Trainer Huaraches for the gym. I also have a pair of Jordan 11's (like my avatar) but I don't wear them much because they're pretty beat.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Weirdest Dream you remember?
« on: March 6, 2004, 11:49 AM »
I get those dreams where you can control whatever you do and the end result is usually a very realistic and scary dream that I can't tell if it's real or not until something ridiculous happens... I remember this one very vividly...

I was at my grandmother's old house upstairs when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise. I grabbed a steak knife and went to find out what it was. I saw that someone had broken into the house. I saw a dude lurking in the shadows and went over to him. For a second there, it looked like the New York Lotto guy, something very random possessed me to kill him and I stabbed him in the eye. However, it was not the Lotto guy as I had suspected, it was none other then ex-NYC mayor Rudy Giulliani (spelling?). I called the cops and told them that someone had broken into my house and in self defense I had killed him (I was quite aware at the time that it wasn't really self defense but I didn't want to go to jail so I lied). So I sat down on the coach and waited for the cops to come. Something wasn't quite right though and I couldn't place it at the time....

About 3 dream minutes later a lone cop came and rang the door bell. I answered the door and told him that I had killed Rudy. He asked if it was self defense and I said of course it was. Thats when it got ugly. The cop said "Don't be trying to pull a fast one on me, boy" I had no idea what he was talking about I inquired as to what he meant. He pointed behind me and said "Your lying! Because your Ice Cream Table has melted!" I turned to what he was pointing at and realized what I had noticed wasn't quite right before, where there had once been a table was now a melted pile of ice cream. I started to ask him what it meant but before I could get it out, the cop shot me in the face and I woke up on the floor next to my bed.

One time when I was heading home from a friends house by train, some impromptu rail repair was necessary and I couldn't transfer to the right train at the station I was at.... I asked the booth-dude if there would be manhattan bound service at any of the stations farther up the line. The guy said of course! So i went to the next stop, and lo, there was no service there either. So by this point I was pretty damned far away from my house already but I decided to take my chances with another station.... yeah that didn't exactly work out. I ended up walking from (only NYC people will know what I'm talking about) Coney Island to Bay Ridge (where I live). I could've just walked home from the first station, but I had to be stupid and lazy about it and I guess I learned a good lesson there.

How the hell did the Hawks beat the Lakers? And no, the fact that Kobe didn't play is not an excuse, I mean it's THE HAWKS!

I'm still not interly sure that was him,but he did seems a lot like GNT.

He did talk like him but he didn't answer the first question you gave him, so I don't know

Midnight Club 2 was pretty hard, not ridiculously hard but difficult nonetheless. That said it was THE most frustrating game I've ever played. I also think Final Fantasy 10 was quite hard but mostly because it was so unbearably bad that it took all I had just to keep playing it

My Knicks took a pretty brutal loss last night... I knew they weren't going to win but I started thinking, hey, maybe they stand a chance! They did too, until the 4th when they apparently disappeared. At least Tim Thomas and Nazr finally turned it on last night. And I hate to say it because he's always been my favorite player, but Penny has been having some very un-clutch performances as of late... I hope it's just a temporary slump...

WE NEED HOUSTON BACK!

"abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies,"

So basically what is being said here is that Global Warming will cause countries to develop nuclear weapons in order to protect their food? Instead of spending billions of dollars on Nuclear weapons why not put money into researching the causes of Global Warming? Or does that make too much sense?
