2020 Haslab - TVC Razor Crest

My guess is the Razor Crest will have more reasonable prices on the secondary market, especially right off the bat.  The Barge didn't have much for international distribution while the Razor Crest had more retailers supporting international customers.  I think there were a lot of international customers trying to get a Barge from US sources and I have no idea how you would easily ship that beast.

I have a Kenner Rancor, a POTF2 Rancor, a Legacy Collection Rancor and it's TFU repaint already... not sure I'd plunk down the $175 (at least) they'd charge for yet another 3.75" scale Rancor.

It was never my favorite "character" and I've got a couple too many already.

Huh. I guess I'm overestimating its appeal. The rancor has always been a huge favorite of mine, even though it's not a main character (really more moving scenery). I remember getting the original, and I think I pretty much carried it everywhere that summer. My kids play with it now.

Hasbro just announced a "Fan First Friday" for Star Wars on 11/5 (11am ET) to "talk all things HasLab" so maybe we will get a Razor Crest update then...  unless it's just a 6" rancor hype session.

What's odd about that is that people are paying those types of prices for a pre-order and not knowing what condition this thing is actually going to arrive in!

Don’t get me wrong I love the rancor, I just am pretty content with the saga one.  I do love it though and consider it essential.  I got my OG at Gold Circle on clearance and he ate far more GI Joe’s than Star Wars.  He is still in my collection too.

Yakface's Instagram has pictures of the Razor Crest being unboxed and I think they should be reclassified as pornography!

I think the person who is sharing the photos is in Asia.  The photos are great to look at, and they’re definitely getting me excited about my Razor Crest order arriving.  I’m just wondering when that’s likely to happen.
