First trailer for Sherlock Holmes is up online.

Also, an article saying Ghostbusters 3 could be filming as soon as this winter.  I'm not sure what to think of this.  I really liked the original Ghostbusters as a kid (and watched the cartoon that came afterwards), but wasn't all that crazy about Ghostbusters 2 honestly.  It sounds like they want to incorporate a "new team" in this sequel (as well as all the originals being on board to "pass the torch"), which I guess makes sense.

I can't see Harold Ramis running around catching ghosts until he drops about 700 pounds...

I like how that article jumps on the "remake" term like they're trying to stir up ****.  The two articles I read about Alien yesterday presented it as an origins story and mentioned nothing of a remake.

Pandorum looks interesting.  I agree with the write-up, it sounds a lot like Aliens/Pitch Black/Event Horizon.  But, let's face it, you can look at almost everything coming out of Hollywood and see a parallel to something else.

I thought the upcoming video game was going to be their take on the third installment?  Nice to see that they're actually going the movie route now.   :)

An Aliens origin/prequel would be great and much more welcome than a remake IMO.  I thought Pandorum looked good too, but couldn't tell if the bad guys were really aliens or altered humans.  Seemed like more of a vampire or zombie theme to me, but set in space.  I'll definitely check it out either way.

I don't know - look at how horrible the AVP movies are.  I would hate for Hollywood to rape a reboot of Alien movies.
